Amitabha Buddha's discourse:
Living in the Five Turbidities and Evil World, adaptability has become a necessary way of survival.
Because impermanence follows closely,
when interacting with those around us, if there are sudden situations or changes in matters or the environment,
if one can have the ability to adapt, then one can face and overcome them smoothly.
In practice, the ability to adapt is also essential.
By listening to sutras and hearing the daily,
one understands the importance of keeping the heart on the righteous path, with a righteous mind, righteous actions, righteous thoughts, and good thoughts,
so that one can act according to the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way without deviation.
Through diligent practice daily, one purifies and elevates the quality of one's spirit.
When events occur, one can settle the mind, using awareness and sensitivity to make correct judgments,
allowing matters to progress smoothly, achieving positive outcomes, or minimising harm.
Meditative concentration is essential for practice.
It is cultivated through diligent practice and manifested through and Wisdom (Prajna).
Especially when facing sudden situations that require immediate response,
without arising anger, the natural ability of meditative concentration manifests, knowing how to act without obstruction;
this is an instinct after purification.
Diligently practise the (Discipline), Concentration and Wisdom every second.
In the present moment, guard the heart well, uphold the Precepts (Discipline), settle the mind, and do not let the heart be swayed by external circumstances.
If the true self can be the master, one can use the natural ability manifested after daily purification
to make correct judgments and handle the situation, turning danger into safety.
If the true self is not the master, but rather , attached spirits, or demon crowds are in control,
and if manifests exactly when responding to a sudden situation,
the decisions made often prevent matters from being handled positively,
or from improving as expected, and may even lead to negative developments.
Adaptability does not only occur in sudden emergencies;
it also has opportunities to manifest in daily interactions and communication between people,
which is a manifestation of the ability to adapt.
If -nature inherent in all beings is manifested,
then for those who have realised their true nature, their meditative concentration, Wisdom (Prajna), purity, sensitivity, and instincts regarding sudden situations,
or any situation that arises at any time, allow them to react immediately and smoothly overcome the situation.
Those who practise purity in their cultivation can also attain this state.
If one's character is deeply defiled, with heavy anger, scattered thoughts, and a spirit that is not easily focused,
then the ability to adapt will appear relatively weak or slow; this is related to one's awareness.
If this is the case in daily life, once a sudden situation or even a critical moment occurs,
it will cause harm to -Mind-Spirit.
Therefore, the cultivation of adaptability is not just for specific people or certain individuals,
but something everyone should possess, especially practitioners.
When approaching the end of life, one must hold firmly to the Buddha-name of Namo Amituofo without letting go.
Whatever situation arises before one's eyes, remain with an unmoved mind, with a heart that is not inverted,
only then will there be an opportunity to be reborn in the of Ultimate Bliss.
The ability to keep the heart from being inverted must also be cultivated in daily life,
so practise diligently at any time and in any place, chanting the Buddha-name 24/7 without interruption;
this is the heart and action of a wise person.
