Interview with Brian Wilkinson in the Western Land of Nature

Legendary Australian swimmer and coach. In 1956, he represented Australia at the Melbourne Olympic Games, reaching the final of the men's 200-metre butterfly. In 1958, at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games (now the Commonwealth Games) in Cardiff, he and his teammates won the gold medal in the 4x220-yard freestyle relay. After retiring, he successfully transitioned into a top-tier coach and was invited to serve as the coach for the Australian national team at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games. He is one of the very few individuals in Australian history to hold the dual titles of "Olympic athlete" and "Olympic coach."

Brian Wilkinson:

Hello everyone, I am Brian Wilkinson.

Throughout my life, whether as an athlete or as a coach, I do not think I have any regrets. After all, I was not only an Olympic athlete but also served as a coach for the Olympic national team. Holding such dual titles means that I invested a tremendous amount of energy and time into the sport of swimming.

I do not take pride in these achievements, nor do I feel that I am superior to others, because I know that I received help from many people along the way.

Throughout my journey, I have always faced every competition, as well as my coaches and teammates, with the most sincere heart. I believe that "sincerity" is a very important quality for anyone to achieve success in their career or in any endeavour.

I think many people would be very surprised that I entered the brain-gouging hell after I died. Actually, it is not just you; I myself found it very difficult to accept at the beginning. However, now that I am listening to Practitioner Su’s teachings in the Land of Dharma Nature, I have gradually come to understand the universal principle, the righteous path of Truth, and the laws of .

It turns out that many things people in the world consider ordinary may have already created sins. In my case, when I was an Olympic national team coach, my various analyses, plans, and strategic formulations regarding how young athletes should plan their futures, how to train, and how to win competitions were actually carried out with my own specific, strong stance.

Although this stance was intended for the sake of the national team and the young athletes, in terms of the universal principle and the righteous path of Truth, as long as there is even a little bit of selfishness, sins have already been created.

When I first arrived at the Land of Dharma Nature, my head still felt very, very painful. However, under the illumination of the Buddha’s light, my injuries gradually recovered and eased bit by bit.

Now, I am no longer in a state of splitting headaches; I feel that my mind is very clear, and I have never felt this good before. Here, I feel very at ease. Without a physical body, unlike when I was in the world where I needed to work and had various pursuits, I do not have to worry about what to eat, nor do I have to deal with the various social interactions and interpersonal relationships.

I am completely in the state of a soul, enjoying the bathing of the Buddha’s light on a lotus seat in the Land of Dharma Nature. I feel that I have never been this at ease; I love this kind of life, and I am very grateful to have been able to come to the Western Land of Dharma Nature.

The reason I was able to come out of hell was not by my own strength, but because Practitioner Su of the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre saved me. He is a Buddha in the human world! At that time, Practitioner Su’s voice resonated in hell, and as the golden light illuminated my soul, I arrived in an instant at this bright and beautiful world, the Western Land of Dharma Nature.

By the way, this Western Land of Dharma Nature is actually the Buddha-land established by Practitioner Su after he became a Buddha. This is a very vast and boundless world with many, many lotuses. Now, I can smell the very fragrant and pleasant scent of lotuses at any time and anywhere.

After learning about the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia, I discovered that this place can actually bring the benefits of no aging, no sickness, and no death of the heart to people in the world. I have never heard of any place that has made such a huge breakthrough in these three problems that humanity has always been striving to overcome. Unexpectedly, it was at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia, that I found the answers to these three problems.

It turns out that the answer is to receive the education of the Buddha’s teachings; the answer comes from the wisdom, teachings, and guidance given to us by Namo Amituofo. The Buddha has placed all the principles he wants to teach us and the crystallization of his wisdom into this phrase, "Namo Amituofo." Therefore, reciting this "Namo Amituofo" is now a very important lesson for me.

The Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia has been continuously offering classes, hoping to give more people the opportunity to hear the teachings of Namo Amituofo. Seeing what they have done here, I feel very moved. It turns out that there is such a wonderful place in Australia that has been dedicated to helping the people of Australia be free from the suffering of aging, sickness, and death.

Currently, the most practical and concrete action I can see is reflected in the Namo Amituofo billboards set up by the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Brisbane. Although they are invisible to people's eyes, from my perspective as a soul, I can clearly see that in the spiritual realms, there are many, many lonely wandering spirits and suffering souls in Australia, all of whom have been saved because they were illuminated by the immense golden light emitted by the Namo Amituofo billboards. They are now in the Western Land of Dharma Nature just like me, and they are all students of Namo Amituofo. We are all very happily listening to the teachings of Namo Amituofo and reciting this "Namo Amituofo."

Now we all have a common wish, which is to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. After all, we souls have already understood that there are actually many places for the soul to go after death, and if one goes to a bad place, it is truly very painful. We have a clear understanding and realization that the soul cannot be autonomous. So, when we learned that there is a place in the world called the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, which is the most beautiful world built by Namo Amituofo, where the soul can have infinite life, no longer have to worry about going to hell to suffer punishment, no longer have to worry about entering space to receive retribution, and no longer have to worry about becoming a lonely wandering spirit drifting in the world without finding energy, slowly becoming weak, powerless, and withering away. In the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, there is infinite energy and infinite life. Everyone can go to such a beautiful world just by reciting this "Namo Amituofo"!

However, Namo Amituofo has given us all a single condition. I know that everyone is very curious when hearing this; what exactly is the condition? This single condition is very simple: everyone must be a good person who is willing to save beings from the bottom of their heart. However, the objects of salvation must absolutely not be limited to just your own family, friends, or loved ones; you must extend the scope of these objects to all human beings and souls. As long as you have such a heart, combined with the help of this "Namo Amituofo," you will be able to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. This is what I have learned now, so I am sharing this good news with people here, hoping that everyone who has the opportunity to read this interview can, like me, make a vow to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.

In any case, all this grace is because Namo Amituofo is currently residing at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, never leaving the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre for 24 hours, and has been emitting immense golden light here.

I would like to say to my son:

If life is a competition, I think the way to determine the final winner or loser should be decided by where the soul goes after death. From this perspective, your father has truly lost completely this time.

In hell, I really felt very painful. Fortunately, Practitioner Su of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre saved me to the Western Land of Dharma Nature. Now I am living very well here; it can be said that I have never felt this good. I also feel very at ease because I already know my goal is to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.

I hope you can also come here to take a good look; this will give you a different perspective on life. In short, the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre can help people avoid the threat of aging, sickness, and death, and allow everyone’s soul to no longer wander around after death.

These benefits are waiting for you to come here in person and listen to the classes given by Namo Amituofo to have the opportunity to obtain them.

I will not say any more unnecessary words; I just hope you can come here quickly to meet me. I will be waiting for you in the Western Land of Dharma Nature to talk to you.

Brian Wilkinson
