Amitabha Buddha's discourse:
Those with perceive the suffering of all beings.
Although one may not personally experience such suffering, one can empathise with the suffering of beings and wishes to resolve it.
This is one of the reasons for practice,
and it is also the driving force that urges one to be active and persistent in one's practice.
If one can achieve success early, one can use one's achievement and skills to help beings leave suffering behind.
In reality, those who have compassion and wish to resolve the suffering of beings benefit the most themselves,
because through their active and persistent practice,
the suffering endured by the countless beings within one's body can be released.
This is the law of and cause and effect; planting good causes yields good fruit.
Wishing to save beings from suffering is a heart of Goodness and compassion.
The power of this heart reflects into one's body,
allowing the , attached spirits, and even demon crowds within one's body to be the first to obtain deliverance.
Perceiving the suffering of all beings, or by deducing from the various sufferings of birth, old age, sickness, and death experienced by one's own Body-Mind-Spirit that other beings are the same.
This is for those who have a sensitive and aware heart.
If one enters into practice and makes a vow to be fiercely diligent in order to leave suffering behind, one will receive purification.
When the : eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, and mind are revealed, this is the time of and seeing one's true nature.
If one's heart of compassion has not yet manifested and one cannot perceive the suffering of beings,
then one's heart for active and persistent practice will not be firm and will be easily shaken,
leading to fatigue or laziness and indulgence, causing time to be wasted and making it difficult to achieve success,
and awakening is even further away.
