An Interview with the Spirit of Matsuda Itaki
Matsuda Itaki, a master carpenter from Japan, spent five centuries as a guardian spirit within statues he inspired. After seeing a Namo Amituofo billboard, he sought Chao Du and found his way to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, where he now reflects on the true nature of home, the irony of attachment to good deeds, and the path to eternal life in the Western Pure Land.
