Sent to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss — Huang Zhangmai (Mother of Huang Silun and Zhang Lixin)

Lay Practitioner Huang Zhangmai:

My name is Huang Zhangmai, and I am Huang Yanxiang's grandmother. Today is a very happy day for me because I was led by Practitioner Su into the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. How is this world so wonderful? It is just too wonderful! I have never seen such a magnificent place. It is so bright, so vast, and I feel as though my whole body is glowing. This is a place that makes one feel truly joyful and happy. This place is called the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. I look quite good, don't I? Although I am old, at this moment I do not feel like an elderly person at all; instead, I feel refreshed and clear-headed. It is because my dear grandson is at this Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre that I have had this opportunity to enter the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.

Speaking of this, I must thank my benefactor, Practitioner Su. Xiangxiang, you must study well. When I was in the Western Land of Dharma Nature, I often heard every Dharma assembly, and I noticed that you were named by Practitioner Su more often than anyone else: 'Huang Yanxiang, Huang Yanxiang.' Oh my, I was truly happy to hear it, and then I thought, why is my dear grandson Xiangxiang being named again? Hahaha! Actually, Practitioner Su, I am truly grateful that you take such good care of our Xiangxiang. He is a good child, smart, and quick-witted. It is just that he ruined his health previously, ruined it by studying, and loved to sleep at home; he still loves to sleep here, falling asleep as soon as he lies down. Now that you are adjusting him, I see that he is being adjusted very well; I see he has gained weight, and only in this way will his body be healthy. This is something that makes me very happy.

Seeing that he has homework from Practitioner Su to do during the day, I see that he is busy and happy too. Is it that he sometimes falls into a state of drowsiness and enters space? I have already remembered this term. Every day when Practitioner Su gives Dharma talks, he mentions falling into a state of drowsiness and entering space, and Huang Yanxiang is also named. But it does not matter, Xiangxiang, Grandma tells you, I can hear that Practitioner Su's love for you is deep, and his discipline is strict; you must strive to do better! I know you are very smart, and you can overcome it. You must overcome the drowsiness and entering space to have a bright future!

Now, wearing the monastic robes looks quite good. You must have some dignity; you must have a proper posture when standing and a proper manner when walking. You cannot run and jump like a student child as before; only then will you look like a monastic. Also, you must listen to Practitioner Su. Practitioner Su is not an ordinary practitioner; I can see it clearly in the Western Land of Dharma Nature. For ordinary practitioners, even those with high skills, it is unlikely that they could have so many spirits leaving the body. Is this called the Dharma Body or countless manifestations? It is truly amazing. Every time I see Practitioner Su performing Chao Du and sending so many spirits here, I cannot help but give a thumbs up. He is truly a Buddha who has come to save people and spirits. I really hope that our Xiangxiang will have the same skills as Practitioner Su in the future, so that he can save many, many people and many, many spirits! This is not a skill that can be learned by a doctor with high academic qualifications!

I have become smarter. Without the body, although it sounds like being isolated from the world, I have actually gained benefits; my memory has improved. In this Western Land of Dharma Nature, it is a very bright world, a very pure place. I am so grateful to Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su; only with you does this good place exist. It allows us who have passed away—I can now accept that I am someone who has passed away, which is not bad—to be sent to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. I believe this is definitely a place that ordinary people cannot reach, and a place that ordinary people who have passed away cannot reach either.

Also, I would like to report some good news to everyone: your grandfather and your father-in-law have both been sent here. Today, when I was led in by Practitioner Su, I saw them already waiting for me ahead. This surprised me quite a bit; it turns out that no one has really died; it is just that they no longer have a body. The spirit is still there, and everyone can be recognised as they were before. Moreover, they have become younger; your father-in-law looks just like he did when he first married Lixin into the family. This is truly a wonderful place. Lixin, your father looks energetic, his complexion is very good, and he is smiling at me. Of course, your father is also doing very well. Everyone is gathered here, and the whole family is together again.

Xiangxiang, you must learn skills well from Practitioner Su. Practitioner Su's skills are truly extraordinary; not only us, but many other spirits have been sent to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss by Practitioner Su. This is truly a rare thing. I say you are smart, you are indeed smart to be able to find such a place. It seems that we all have a Buddhist affinity with Namo Amituofo, which is why we can enter here. This includes Xiangxiang, who also has a deep Buddhist affinity. Grandma now seems to know many things naturally. I see that you still have many karmic creditors on you. Every time Practitioner Su invites spirits for you and strikes the bell, many beings come out of your body; I have seen it all. It seems that Practitioner Su is your noble person, so you must listen to him.

My eyes are fixed on you, watching you at all times. Our neighbours in the Dharma-Nature Land are all sitting on lotus seats, but we also greet each other. Everyone is very kind and smiling. When Practitioner Su strikes the bell and calls Huang Yanxiang, they remind me that Practitioner Su is calling your grandson again.

You really need to change; do not let Practitioner Su teach you and lead you so hard. Overcoming drowsiness and entering space, is that not saving yourself? You must save yourself. When chanting sutras, you fall asleep lying down; during the Dharma assembly, you are also lying down; when chanting Buddha's name, you walk and stop. The one in front is Namo Amituofo! Is it disrespectful? That is what Practitioner Su said, and I have learned it. I rarely speak harsh words to you, but these are not harsh words; these are words of exhortation.

Furthermore, the Namo Amitabha Buddhist Hall is truly wonderful, shining with golden light. You cannot see it, but we can see it, and it fills my heart with joy. Now that I have arrived in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, it is also shining with golden light. Being brought in by Practitioner Su during the Dharma assembly this morning, I am truly filled with gratitude and joy. Everyone is looking around; this is really a very special place. I know what you say and do in the temple! I know when you are calling me, 'Huang Zhangmai, please accept the interview.' That is me at this moment.

Xiangxiang, tell the family that I have arrived at the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, and remember to tell them that Grandfather and Father-in-law have also arrived. Yes, we older generation are meeting here; this is such a wonderful feeling, to be able to meet again, it is really like when we were not dead. I see that the situation of your grandfather and father-in-law is indeed so; it is truly a happy day! I am reporting that I am safe to everyone; I am very safe. Also, everyone should chant Buddha's name: Namo Amituofo, Namo Amituofo, Namo Amituofo.

Second child, I see that you should also pay attention to your health; chant Buddha's name. When you have time, come and see the child; he is doing very well here, and the environment here is also very good. You two do not need to be reluctant to let him be a monastic; I was reluctant at first too. Now I see that he is living a good life, better than the life he lived at home. At home, he has to face the life lessons of marriage and having children, which are different from the lessons here. Now, he can save people and save souls here, which is something ordinary people cannot do. It is really good that Xiangxiang can find this challenging place, just like his personality. However, it is very quiet and peaceful here; it is a good place for practice.

You two, Second child and Lixin, please set your hearts at ease. Everyone should bless Xiangxiang; do not worry about him. Practitioner Su is taking care of him here, better than you two could. I see that when you two talk to him, Xiangxiang is grown up, and there will be times when he is unconvinced and will talk back. Here, when Practitioner Su roars, it is quite scary. I see that Xiangxiang does not even dare to make a sound, so it is good that he can be subdued; teach him well. Practitioner Su, our Xiangxiang is handed over to you; I trouble you. This grandson has been smart since he was a child, and there are few people who can make him convinced. I see that you, Practitioner Su, are the person he is most convinced by now.

Huang Zhangmai is here, very gratefully saying thank you to Namo Amituofo, the respected Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju, and Practitioner Su. I am grateful for you, for the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, which is such a good place. Because of you, because of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, Xiangxiang was able to find the right place to become a monastic, and we were able to be saved and enter the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. I see that he can now open up space and talk to beings; his future will be bright. Especially since I have also heard that Xiangxiang's interview was very wonderful; Grandma wants to encourage Xiangxiang to continue to work hard, to save himself, and also to follow Namo Amituofo, Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju, and Practitioner Su to learn, so that he can save many beings.
