Namo Amituofo’s discourse:
What is the way to a peaceful heart? An unmoved mind brings peace.
In this world of five turbidities, we are constantly amidst the constant changes of the world and the instability of human hearts.
Today it is right, tomorrow it is wrong; today it is correct, tomorrow it is incorrect; today it is acceptable, tomorrow it is not.
At this moment it is upright, at that moment it is biased.
Today one still has a breath, able to speak and greet others;
Tomorrow the breath is gone, and the living and the dead are forever separated.
These are all signs of the constant changes of the world.
Why do we practice? To seek the way to a peaceful heart.
If the heart can be at peace, spiritual achievements can be attained;
If the heart is not at peace, practice will be lost in confusion.
Only by finding one's true self and being reborn in the of Ultimate Bliss can one truly attain a peaceful heart.
Those with a peaceful heart:
Have a smiling face, and a heart that is always content and satisfied;
Their heart has a destination, which is the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss;
Their heart is protected, by inviting Amitabha’s to bless and protect them.
Those who chant Buddha's name, chant one Buddha's name to the end, without other thoughts or distractions,
Only chanting the holy name of Amitabha.
In this state of mind, besides arises, also invite Amitabha’s compassion to bless and protect.
Goodness and the wonderful are in this heart; treat others with compassion, Wisdom (Prajna), , and tolerance.
Keep a good heart, speak good words, do good deeds, and be a good person; have no evil thoughts or evil words.
"arouse the mind and single-mindedly recite Namo Amituofo",
And make a vow to chant Buddha's name to be reborn in the Pure Land, follow the teachings,
This is the way to a peaceful heart.
At this time, Amitabha abides at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia,
One should engage in diligent practice, realise one's true nature and attain Buddhahood, and follow Amitabha to save countless suffering beings,
This is the way to a peaceful heart.
