Teachings by Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju:
Letting go of delusion to return to the truth,
Let go of the false, return to the true nature and self-nature.
The '' mentions 'letting go of delusion to return to the truth,'
Which means thoroughly letting go of delusion, discrimination, and attachment so that one's true nature manifests.
In this age of the ’s decline, we practise to elevate the quality of our spirit;
Many practitioners pass away before they have awakened to their true nature.
If a spirit without a body enters the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss at the end of life,
This spirit, having elevated its spiritual quality through practice while alive,
Naturally enters the 'Four Lands, Three Grades, and Nine Levels' of the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.
Continuing to practise in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss to eventually attain Buddhahood is what is meant by 'returning to the truth.'
What is delusion? Delusion is not truth; illusions are the same.
The world of arising and ceasing due to causal conditions is all illusion,
Like bubbles that quickly manifest and vanish amidst the gathering and scattering of causal conditions.

The true light of self-nature manifests in the heart and shines forth from the pores of .
One should look inward for -nature, not outward,
It is seen through purification upon purification, and manifests naturally,
When the whole body is thoroughly illuminated, this is awakened being.
Illusions arise from delusion, and there is delusion within illusions.
The laws of and cause and effect are hidden within negative karma and Goodness.
People suffer immensely within this,
Bound by the sufferings of birth, aging, sickness, and death, because they view delusion and illusion as truth, and find it difficult to let go.
, , , , the : Wealth, Sexual Pleasure, Fame, Food, and Sleep, and the : Greed, Anger, Ignorance, Arrogance, and Doubt are delusions.
One's personality is also a delusion; it is false, not true, and contains the experiences of many lifetimes.
One must let go and sever these; only by thoroughly letting go can one attain purity.
This physical body is a delusion, and it is also an illusion, but this false body has its use.
True Cultivation using the false body is the precious aspect of this false body.
Through the various conditions and environments of practice, recognise the difference between truth, falsehood, illusion, and delusion.
Through repeated letting go and purification, one finally sees the true nature and self-nature.
Let go of delusion; once you let go thoroughly, you will return to the truth.
