Arriving at Will

Amitabha Buddha's discourse:

In the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss,

Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva and Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva, these two Bodhisattvas,

wish to arrive at the immeasurable and boundless Buddha lands of the Ten Directions of the Dharma Realm, and they arrive at will.

Therefore, when good men and good women of the world encounter urgent danger or terror,

if they entrust their lives to Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva and ask for salvation, they can all attain liberation,

because where the thought reaches, the action arrives immediately.

Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva is in the state of a holy spirit, without the constraints of a physical body,

and thus can save and teach beings with such speed.

The body is the technology of technologies; when the spirit is free from the limitations of the body,

and is a holy spirit, it becomes free and swift, as can be seen from this.

Arriving at will means that the thought and the speed advance simultaneously; it is extremely fast,

with no gap between before and after, or speed and slowness.

This is the state of beings of the Western Land, represented by Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva and Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva;

their state of heart and action is such that they arrive simultaneously.

Whereas in the world, because people are constrained by their bodies,

the spirit cannot arrive at the immeasurable and boundless Buddha lands of the Ten Directions of the Dharma Realm at will.

Therefore, regarding thoughts and actions,

thoughts are thoughts, and actions are actions; where the thought reaches, the action cannot advance simultaneously.

However, when the spirit resides in the body,

one can use the body for True Cultivation, to elevate the quality of one's spirit until the true self is recovered,

and upon becoming an awakened being, attain Buddhahood.

Therefore, the body is so important.

There are countless cells in the body, and beings exist within these cells.

These beings are in a spiritual state, and their relationship with the owner of the body is mostly that of karmic creditors,

who carry out the collection of karmic debts and grievances within the body.

At the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia, where Namo Amituofo abides,

Practitioner Su manifests, practising with fierce diligence, with the Buddha-name uninterrupted 24/7,

enabling the beings within the countless cells of the body to chant the Buddha's name simultaneously, purifying their hearts and spirits,

receiving teachings and being subdued, joining Practitioner Su in taking the salvation of beings as their own responsibility,

manifesting countless manifestations to exit the body,

and under the Buddha's blessings, performing the act of saving beings,

also arriving at will according to the instructions of Practitioner Su,

helping beings enter the Twelve Lights to receive Chao Du, and allowing demon crowds to enter the Western Land of Dharma Nature,

this is how demonic enemies are subdued, and the subtle Dharma is attained.
