Teachings by Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju:
Many spirits at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre arrive on the wind; they are Wandering Spirits,
and they are truly countless.
Among these spirits, many are local residents who, after passing away, have no one to offer sacrifices to them.
Having nowhere to turn, they become Wandering Spirits, drifting with the wind without a fixed destination,
and many more are the tiny crawling and flying creatures, or mere dust and sand.
Wandering Spirits come from all directions; perhaps they are brought by the wind gods to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre to seek their , or to attend the assembly at the temple to seek refuge and .
These spirits are of all kinds, immeasurable and boundless, just as people are of all kinds, unable to be their own masters.
They arrive on the wind, but where do they return? There is still nowhere for them to return to.
Many beings arrive on the wind at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre,
and upon seeing the light shining from the temple, they feel it is inconceivable, knowing this is no ordinary place,
so they ask the wind gods to let them stay here for a while.
When they see the scene of Chao Du, the Buddha-light shines upon the earth, and many spirits flock here.
In the sky, in the air, and in every space that people can see,
there are beings who have come to the temple seeking Chao Du,
following the progress of the Dharma assembly, either reciting the Sutras or chanting the Buddha-name.
When chanting the Buddha-name,
Namo Amituofo stands tall and dignified in front, with a radiant face, and Buddha-light shining in all directions.
Many beings quickly enter the light and receive the Buddha's Chao Du.
This is a truly magnificent scene, and the number of beings is immeasurable and boundless!
Practitioner Su’s countless manifestations have the same appearance as Practitioner Su, and their movements are not restricted.
With the speed of Divine Foot (spiritual travel),
they either stay on the ground,
or rush into the sky and enter the Celestial Realm, passing through the first to the twenty-eighth heavens,
and after passing the twenty-eighth heaven, they enter the universe, the Milky Way, and the Dharma Realm.
Many demon crowds in the universe,
because of the Chao Du performed by the countless manifestations as they travel through layers of space, and the illumination of the twelve Buddha-lights,
are liberated from space, enter the light, and are sent to the Western Land of Dharma Nature of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, thus escaping the Demon Realm and residing at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre.
One day, when Practitioner Su returns to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss,
the beings in the Western Land of Dharma Nature will all follow into the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.
This is a truly magnificent matter, never heard of before.
If beings hear of this,
they must quickly seize the opportunity while Namo Amituofo is currently abiding at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre,
for because of this magnificent opportunity, they may be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
Constantly hold the Buddha-name without interruption,
arouse the mind and single-mindedly recite Namo Amituofo; this is the key to rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
