Let go of face and inner pride to elevate the spiritual quality.
People are concerned with face and inner pride; they protect their face in public and guard their inner pride in private.
Regardless, both face and inner pride are part of one's ;
they do not exist within the true self.
Therefore, it is time to let go of face and inner pride!
Once you let go,
the parts that obstruct the heart and prevent the spirit from seeing the light are discarded,
and the light of the heart can shine through.
Throughout accumulated lifetimes, face and inner pride have occupied a part of life in the human world.
Many people fight and scramble for them, even sacrificing their lives without hesitation;
others, in their concern for face and inner pride, have led their families to ruin.
The tracks of this history are too numerous to count,
and now, in your practice, you must discard these personality traits that cause life to suffer in reincarnation.
But because these personality traits have been deposited over accumulated lifetimes,
one must let go of face and inner pride, summon Wisdom (Prajna), courage, and above all, .
With a heart of compassion, face the various forms of confusion, personality traits, and harm caused to beings within your own karma,
which were created out of concern for face and inner pride.
By letting go of face and inner pride through diligent practice, you allow the spiritual quality to be elevated;
this is an important aspect of practice.
Once you discard face and inner pride, the world will be different.
Face everything with a more honest, open, and clear heart;
there is no need to put on a front to protect your face and inner pride,
with no self-protection and no existence of an "ego."
Ego-attachment and selfish thoughts often arise for the sake of face and inner pride.
Once you have let go of face and inner pride, your heart will be much more open,
but you must not violate the ; this is of great importance.
If you violate the Precepts, you not only leave yourself exposed,
perhaps unaware of the suffering, repeating the same violations again and again,
this is a sign of the hells; furthermore, those with heavy karma are often unable to resist the manifestation of their karma through their own strength.
Even with the continuous Buddha's , once a situation arises and reappear,
due to your personality, everything returns to the starting point, and you commit the same mistakes again,
creating the painful of the hells once more.
Face and inner pride must be thoroughly let go of and uprooted from the heart,
so that the spiritual quality can be elevated, providing the opportunity to rediscover your true self.
