Practitioner Su:
Teacher, with your , we wish to promote the Namo Buddhist Hall. We invite you to introduce the Namo Amitabha Buddhist Hall. Namo Amituofo abides at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre, and everyone can immigrate to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.
Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju’s teachings:
(My introduction to the Namo Amitabha Buddhist Hall is as follows:)
The vastness of the Buddha’s teachings is like drinking water; one knows for oneself whether it is cold or warm.
Pure Land Amitabha—Namo Amituofo—is also known as the Buddha of Immeasurable Light and the Buddha of Immeasurable Life. The Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia hopes that people of the world can come to know the great compassion of Namo Amituofo and the Pure Buddha Land—the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss—which was built through His Forty-eight Great Vows to save countless suffering beings, so that they may receive the vast grace of Namo Amituofo.
At this time, Namo Amituofo abides at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia, providing Buddhist education through accessible, easy-to-understand language and profound yet simple teachings. These guide people in unravelling the mysteries of the human body and educate the public on the relationship between -Mind-Spirit. By learning how to make the Body-Mind-Spirit harmonious and unified, one can move away from old age and sickness, or even achieve a state of no aging and no sickness. Furthermore, when one’s life ends and the body dies, the spirit never dies and can immigrate into the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss—a world where one does not receive any suffering but only receives all happiness—allowing the spirit, after the body passes, to live a cool, free, pure, and bright life. Moreover, Namo Amituofo has already saved immeasurable and boundless beings at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia, helping them leave suffering behind, emerge from darkness, and see the light. He has also led many who chant the Buddha’s name and practitioners into the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, where they can continue their practice and have the opportunity to attain Buddhahood in one lifetime.
For this reason, the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia, feeling the need to spread the Pure Land teachings and allow people the opportunity to draw close to Namo Amituofo, receive Buddhist education, and enjoy the magnificent benefits of the , wishes to build the Namo Amitabha Buddhist Hall. Now that the blueprint for the Namo Amitabha Buddhist Hall is presented before the world, we hope that virtuous people from the ten directions will join in supporting Buddhist education and the construction of the Namo Amitabha Buddhist Hall. Let us allow the Namo Amitabha Buddhist Hall to be completed soon, so that the Buddha-light of Namo Amituofo may shine upon the ten directions, every corner of the world, and the hearts of all people. May everyone bathe in the Buddha-light, receive the energy of Namo Amituofo’s compassion and Wisdom (Prajna), achieve peace and stability in Body-Mind-Spirit, and manage their lives in this world well. Let the holy name of "Namo Amituofo" cleanse the dust and defilements of the body and mind, and elevate the quality of one's spirit.
The Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia also provides precious teachings from Namo Amituofo, titled "Messages from Namo Amituofo’s Heart," shared during the , as well as my own teachings, "Collected Teachings of Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju," on the Centre’s website. These also include lectures by Practitioner Su and interviews between the temple and spirit realm beings, available for the public to read or listen to. Explore the vastness and magnificence of the Buddha’s teachings and realise that the body is the most advanced technology of all. From this, receive the subtle Dharma that allows the Body-Mind-Spirit to be far from old age and sickness, or even to reach a state of no aging, no sickness, and the spirit never dying even when the body passes!
