Amitabha Buddha's discourse:
The breeze carries waves of the lotus's pure fragrance; such a scent cannot be found in this world.
The fragrant breeze blows through the seven-jewelled trees, producing the subtle sounds of the five musical notes, naturally harmonising with one another,
emitting pleasant and gentle sounds, which may be the melody of Namo Amituofo’s Buddha-name never before heard in this world, or the wind and trees teaching the .
This is one scene of the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.
These subtle musical notes cannot be heard in this world,
yet in any part of the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, they can be heard in the breeze.
In the Land of Ultimate Bliss, these musical notes are like the five ancient Chinese musical notes, but their subtle sounds are unlike the five notes of this world.
Besides the fragrant breeze blowing through the seven-jewelled trees, one can also see "immeasurable wondrous flowers scattering with the wind."
Such fragrant breezes, the wondrous sounds of the five notes, and the offering of wondrous flowers to Amitabha and the beings of the Western Land are continuous and entirely natural.
This realm of the Western Land cannot be found in this world,
yet in the Western Land, it can be heard and seen everywhere.
Furthermore, celestial beings from various heavens offer hundreds of thousands of flowers, incense, and various musical sounds
to Amitabha and the holy assembly of the Western Land,
coming and going in an endless stream, their hearts filled with and happiness,
because they have received the majestic power of Amitabha’s original vows.
By making such offerings to the Tathagata, their good roots are sustained continuously without diminution.
This is a scene of celestial beings from other realms singing praises of the Buddha’s virtues, and there are also scenes of the holy assembly of the Western Land singing praises of the Buddha’s virtues.
Amitabha bestows his immeasurable merits to bless these offerings made by the celestial beings.
At the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia—the place where Amitabha currently abides,
one can also see from time to time sages of the Four Sacred Realms and celestial beings from the heavenly realms,
flying across the sky with thin, colourful ribbons, manifesting various magnificent celestial scenes to make offerings to Amitabha.
This scene can be seen by the eyes of the fourfold assembly and other people.
By making these offerings, the sages of the Four Sacred Realms and the celestial beings can also receive the blessing of Amitabha’s majestic power,
which increases the good roots, , and Causal Conditions of those who make the offerings,
enabling them to chant Buddha's name and be guided by Amitabha into the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.
This is a magnificent Causal Condition for beings reincarnated in this world to attain rebirth in the Western Pure Land; therefore, one should grasp and cherish it.
