Wu Xianzhong:
Having walked this path of life, I now truly feel complete. I am grateful for the compassionate guidance of and Practitioner Su. In recent years, many prominent figures from mainland China who have passed away have been called upon by Practitioner Su and guided to the Western Land of Nature, this Buddha-land.
I was astonished when I arrived here, for in my lifetime, I never believed in the Buddha, nor did I believe that a Buddha-land existed. Now that I have truly stepped onto this land, I am filled with emotion and have shed tears. I know this is a brand-new beginning, an opportunity for me to be reborn. Having been to hell, I now understand suffering, I know the beauty of the Western Land of Dharma Nature, and I cherish everything in this moment even more.
It has been just over two months since I left the human world. I am very fortunate that about a month after leaving, I was guided by Practitioner Su to the Western Land of Dharma Nature. Although I went to hell, I only suffered there for one month. I have always been filled with gratitude for this, because I have seen too many beings in hell who have been trapped there for a year, ten years, a hundred years, or a thousand years, unable to escape, and the suffering there is indescribable. I only spent a month in hell, yet I deeply felt that suffering. Now that I have arrived in the Western Land of Dharma Nature, I am even more actively committed to following Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su, learning to purify my own heart.
All of this has not come easily, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have this opportunity for an interview from the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. I sit peacefully on my lotus seat, without many afflictions. Today, let me share my story, the story of Wu Xianzhong, with everyone.
My story is actually quite ordinary. I am a doctor, and the person you know is a doctor skilled in integrating Chinese and Western medicine. I originally studied Western medicine, but later, national policy strongly encouraged the application of Traditional Chinese Medicine knowledge to Western medicine to achieve a perfect integration. I was half-believing and half-doubting about this at first, but when I let go of everything and decided to study Traditional Chinese Medicine more deeply, delving into it for several years, I finally discovered that the integration of Chinese and Western medicine could indeed improve many illnesses at that time. Therefore, I spent my life deeply rooted in this field until I left the human world.
From the time I encountered medicine at the age of twenty until I was one hundred, I never stopped researching. For over eighty years, I was in the medical field, constantly learning. I used to believe that it is very important to learn as long as you live, so from before I was twenty until I was one hundred, I was always learning and never stopped. I felt very satisfied with such a life at the time; not only did I live so long, but my body also did not suffer from any serious illnesses. Even in my nineties, I could still freely participate in various medical projects in the hospital, which was something I felt incredibly fortunate about.
Now my spirit is in the Western Land of Dharma Nature, and I no longer need to deal with anything related to illness. This is a spiritual world; there is no body, and there are no illnesses from the human world. The Buddha-land is a perfect world; no one here has to live the life of eating, drinking, and excreting as in the human world, let alone suffer from illness. Without this body, the spirit is very free, and there are absolutely no health concerns.
Looking around, most people in the world today are worried about their health, especially those over forty or fifty; everyone has illnesses and suffering, and everyone needs treatment. But I have now truly confirmed all that I learned in the past about Chinese and Western medicine. The medical skills I learned before only treated the symptoms and not the root cause; they could only help people temporarily relieve difficult and complicated diseases and extend their lives. But to achieve ultimate liberation, one must rely on true Buddhist education, which is the only way to teach the public to reach the state of true non-aging, non-sickness, and the immortality of the spirit.
Therefore, I now have the utmost respect for the Buddha’s teachings, for Namo Amituofo, and for Practitioner Su. I have witnessed with my own eyes how Namo Amituofo, as the Great Physician King, heals the illnesses of beings, and how Practitioner Su relies on the Buddha’s teachings to help the public resolve difficult and complicated diseases. This can be seen today at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia.
Practitioner Su is from Taiwan, China. Having attained Buddhahood in the human world, he discovered many mysteries of that many people cannot understand. This is also because Namo Amituofo personally taught him, enabling Practitioner Su to quickly enter into this and help beings resolve their physical illnesses in a timely manner. The scientific principles behind this are very profound, and I would like to explain them to you in detail.
According to the Buddha’s teachings, illness is actually caused by the interference of , demon crowds, or attached spirits within the body. I was shocked when I learned this truth. I did not know about the existence of spirits before, let alone that there were so many spiritual beings inside a person's body. When I was in the Western Land of Dharma Nature, my eyes were opened, and I could see the situation of beings spread all over every person in the human world. I was surprised to find that every person's body is densely packed with beings.
Some beings are kind-hearted and do not have much enmity with the karmic creditors within the human body, so they remain in a peaceful and stable state. But in most people's bodies, there are indeed beings who harbor revenge, because these people have created immeasurable and boundless negative throughout their many lives. These suffering beings are still suffering in the space within the human body. Some are suffering in various spaces within the body, and some are even suffering the most painful punishments in the hell-space within the body, yet no one knows.
All of this relies on the great of Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su. They helped us uncover the mysteries of the body's space, so we now know that the human body is so precious; it can both attain Buddhahood and be controlled and used by many beings, causing the body to decay and wither.
Some people get sick because beings are taking revenge in their various organs, causing them to fall ill. Others have serious mental illnesses because beings are controlling their hearts and brains, making them have wild thoughts and various in their hearts. Therefore, the common illnesses in today's society, such as depression, bipolar disorder, and other mental illnesses, are actually caused by immeasurable and boundless karmic creditors, demon crowds, or attached spirits controlling people's bodies. In particular, karmic creditors and demon crowds are the main reasons why they get sick!
Karmic creditors, as the name implies, are the beings we have owed throughout our many lives; we have harmed them in the past, and now they have come to seek revenge. This is a natural principle in the laws of karma and cause and effect. Demon crowds are the vast external demons and internal demons. If people in the world die full of great resentment, they will also fall into the Demon Realm and become demon crowds. These demon crowds specialize in harming people or various lives. Because their demon nature is very strong and they do not like to see people live peaceful lives, they take revenge on us.
Now that I have seen through all these principles in the Western Land of Dharma Nature, I know that the Buddha’s teachings are truly magical. This is the perfect education that everyone should learn. Because of the Buddha’s teachings, we can see through the human heart and understand many truths in the universe that people in the world do not know.
I am now learning true science in the Western Land of Dharma Nature with a very humble and calm heart. I am willing to let go of everything I learned in the past. If I do not empty these out, I will never be able to cultivate the great cultivation that Practitioner Su has.
Now that I am in the Western Land of Dharma Nature, watching Practitioner Su's achievements in the human world, I realize that the human body can be cleared until it is empty, with nothing in it, yet it can obtain all the highest and deepest Wisdom. This is the truth of life and the state of Wisdom of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. I did not believe in the Buddha before, nor did I know much about the Buddha.
As a doctor, there were five siblings in my family, four of whom were doctors, and two of them were even national academicians, meaning they were people with very high achievements in the medical field. Everything our family learned from childhood to adulthood was knowledge related to science. I used to think that the Buddha’s teachings were just an ancient Eastern religion, with no concept at all, and I did not know that the education mentioned in the Buddha’s teachings is the best education that people desperately need, which can cure all the difficult and complicated diseases in people's hearts.
Now in the Western Land of Dharma Nature, I see Practitioner Su at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre inviting out the beings from people's bodies. He can invite out tens of thousands, or even hundreds of thousands or millions of beings at once; that scene is truly amazing! Within the human body, many situations invisible to the physical eyes are actually very complex; this body is simply a universe. Sometimes blue, purple, or black marks appear on the human body; the beings inside are invisible to the physical eyes of people in the world, but the spirits can see them very clearly. These various colored block-like marks are actually the result of a large number of beings taking revenge inside, performing various destructive behaviors, causing the body to be injured and feel pain.
Practitioner Su invites spirits with the most compassionate heart, resolving the conflicts for the beings, hoping that they can leave suffering and gain happiness; and he sincerely helps the beings understand the Buddha’s teachings. These attached spirits are very miserable; they do not really want to take revenge, but they have nowhere to go, so they have to stay in the human body, causing people to have various feelings and illnesses.
The great compassion of Practitioner Su's Dharma talks can be sensed by these beings, and they are willing to leave the owner's body and be reborn in the Western Land of Dharma Nature. With such a beautiful Buddha-land, and unlimited gold and various treasures, why wouldn't they want to? Beings are casting off the shackles of the body one after another, being reborn in a good land early, and no longer having to suffer.
I now uphold a righteous heart and righteous mental notes to understand the truth of all these facts, and I am both astonished and deeply moved. It turns out that everything done by the Buddha’s teachings can actually solve many things that our medical field cannot solve. When I was a doctor before, I also encountered many difficult and complicated diseases that I could not solve in my whole life. But after knowing the Buddha’s teachings, I suddenly became enlightened; any difficult and complicated disease is not a problem.
As long as you recite 'Namo Amituofo' to the end, any illness can be solved. Even without Practitioner Su in the human world to invite spirits for everyone, as long as people in the world focus on reciting this 'Namo Amituofo', correct their personalities, uphold a good heart and good thoughts, keep good thoughts, speak good words, do good deeds, and be a good person, and walk in the world with this mental note, illnesses will not happen again. The occurrence of illness is originally because people's mental notes are biased, which attracts these beings to wake up; after they wake up in the human body, they can only come to seek revenge.
If people could accept the Buddha’s teachings and know that the Buddha’s teachings can help them be liberated from the suffering of illness, and come to learn the Buddha’s teachings one after another, that would be great. One day, hospitals may not need to operate anymore, because everyone's heart will be so pure and good. Like the beings in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss and the Western Land of Dharma Nature, after being educated and purified by the Buddha’s teachings, everyone is as pure and bright as a Buddha, without any illness. This is the wish of every doctor in the Western Land of Dharma Nature.
We used to treat people's illnesses and worry about whether their bodies could be healthy and recover. Now I don't have to worry anymore; I just urge everyone to recite 'Namo Amituofo' to the end. This Buddha-name is so precious that it can transform the hearts of beings. Why is this?
Because the Buddha-name 'Namo Amituofo' contains all the merit, power, and Wisdom of the original Namo Amituofo, and also includes all beautiful things. Reciting this Buddha-name is telling the beings that they are all Buddhas themselves, and they can all attain Buddhahood and be reborn in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, this beautiful Buddha-land. By spreading this beautiful message, the cellular beings in the body can feel it and will be very happy to accept .
As a doctor, now that I understand the truth, I am very impressed by the Wisdom of the Buddha’s teachings. I used to be a surgeon and have experienced many things in the world, including treating the wounded and sick for our army during the war, and seeing all the joys, sorrows, and various sufferings of the human world. So I understand the suffering of people in the world very thoroughly from all levels of Body-Mind-Spirit. But all of this is not as perfect as what is explained in the Buddha’s teachings.
After I died, as a doctor, I actually fell into the 'Hell of Disembowelment' to suffer; this is truly caused by the laws of karma and cause and effect. Just because I created killing karma in the past, I have today's retribution, and I have no complaints. I only suffered in hell for one month before being guided into the Western Land of Dharma Nature; this is such a precious thing. Falling into hell made me feel that people must follow the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way in the world. The beings in hell are all there because they did not follow the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, which is why they fell into hell to suffer.
Although I actively promoted the various benefits of integrating Chinese and Western medicine in the past, allowing Chinese people to benefit, I also had subtle selfish thoughts. I had achievements I wanted to attain in my heart and hoped to be different. Although I had many thoughts of helping others, I still had thoughts of self-protection.
I worried that the surgeries I performed might have deviations, causing injury or death to patients, etc. These pollutions piled up layer by layer in my heart, preventing me from obtaining true purification, and I fell into hell to suffer retribution after death. All of this is a phenomenon of the operation of the natural laws of cause and effect, and I have no complaints, but rather feel very happy. Because I was fortunate enough to meet the Buddha and penetrate all the truths of the universe, it made me reflect on my pain and resolve to learn the Buddha’s teachings, no longer being obsessed with or pained by everything in the past.
The spirit of Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su has deeply moved me. If one can let go of physical pain, as I have now, there is not much left to feel; I only think of the supreme Wisdom contained in the Buddha’s teachings. If this could be deeply planted in the hearts of people in major hospitals across China and even the entire nation, how many lives could be saved! Not just lives, but the body, mind, and spirit of countless people could be saved, letting them know that after death, there is a home called the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, so they need not suffer ever again. Such a wonderful thing, I never dared to imagine before; I always felt that after death, that was it, and there was not much difference. I lived to be one hundred and one years old, witnessing all the joys, sorrows, separations, and various sufferings of the human world, and I know deeply that one should not come to this human world. This worldly realm is inherently the source of all suffering; does everyone still wish to return to this human world? I certainly do not. Coming to the human world means enduring the suffering of , and after death, one still has to suffer retribution in hell; why bother with all this? Now I am incredibly fortunate to have been guided to the Western Land of Dharma Nature; looking back on this life, I have no regrets. In the past, besides treating patients, I also educated many students to follow this path of saving lives. This interview is to say that after I finished my medical career in the world and arrived at this Buddha-land, the Western Land of Dharma Nature, I learned that true medicine actually exists within the Buddha-name Namo Amituofo. If this message can be spread to everyone who knows me, my students, and even my students' students, passed down from generation to generation, then Buddhist education can truly be propagated. Before receiving Buddhist education, everyone will experience birth, aging, sickness, and death; especially aging, sickness, and death, which are the responsibilities we doctors strive to prevent and treat for our patients. In terms of the vocation of a worldly doctor, there are too many frameworks we cannot break through. The field of worldly science is inherently very narrow, and all the phenomena it explains are only within the range visible to the human eye. However, the spiritual world that the physical eyes cannot see, which the medical and scientific communities could not explore before, is now slowly emerging. I hope all doctors can take this interview to heart and know what direction they can research. If the Truth contained in the Buddha’s teachings can be implemented in medicine and verified, allowing more people to believe that the Buddha’s teachings can indeed solve the difficult and miscellaneous illnesses of beings, this is of utmost importance. Only doctors have the opportunity to come into contact with these instruments and be able to exert their talents. This is also in line with the mindset of people in the world who believe in science and want to prove everything through scientific methods. By proving the Buddha’s teachings through science and medicine, I believe this is feasible; this is also a skillful means to satisfy the requirements of people in the world regarding the spirit. I am now in the Western Land of Dharma Nature, filled with gratitude for being saved, a fact that makes everyone feel comforted and joyful in the Dharma. I have dedicated my life to the medical field, and to have such a perfect destination, I want to strongly appeal for this, so that all doctors and experts in the country can understand the truth of the universe. When they serve as doctors, they can use Buddhist education to cure patients' illnesses at the root; of course, they must also practise themselves. The better one practises, the more beings one can save; this is a natural principle. Buddhist education must start from childhood and be deeply planted in everyone's heart. Only by letting all children receive true Buddhist education from a young age will there be no bias. Now that I can receive such wonderful education, all this is thanks to Practitioner Su attaining Buddhahood in the human world, which allows the public to receive such perfect education. Finally, I, Wu Xianzhong, here pay homage to Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su, and am grateful to the Buddha or Bodhisattvas for bringing this wonderful gift to everyone. I hope this Buddhist education can be passed on across the vast land of China, and I will certainly do my best to do this well. Now that I no longer have a body, I naturally cannot do much, but I sincerely hope this interview can reach all doctors. I ask those who are connected by karmic affinity to help me convey this; if any further content is needed, I am also very willing to answer doctors' questions. Grateful for the compassion of Namo Amituofo, grateful for the compassion of Practitioner Su. Namo Amituofo Wu Xianzhong [[BLOCK_1]]
