Gratitude is a sense of contentment and appreciation that arises naturally from the heart.
The wise are content and can appreciate being cared for and taught.
When one can feel the selfless dedication of others in one's heart, a heart of gratitude arises;
this is a sincere and precious sentiment.
Knowing kindness and repaying kindness is a positive, forward-moving, and energetic transmission of intent,
which can be transformed into the power of action.
Only those who know kindness can repay it; only with a heart that knows kindness can there be the practice of repaying it.
In terms of practice, a practitioner can feel the teachings, care, and guidance from Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, ancestral masters, venerable masters, awakened beings, and true spiritual friends,
who sincerely and selflessly hope that one will remove defilements and attain purity, and soon achieve .
Once one has this realisation, one can achieve oneself through fierce diligence,
to repay their kindness.
Namo Amituofo is residing at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia,
and the fourfold assembly of disciples are day and night under the Buddha’s light,
and within the care of Namo Amituofo, this teacher, and Practitioner Su.
The hearts of the fourfold assembly of disciples are often touched, and they move forward in gratitude;
being actively diligent and achieving oneself is the best way to repay kindness.
Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, this teacher, and Practitioner Su hope that the fourfold assembly of disciples will soon achieve success,
not only saving themselves from being reincarnated again, but also saving the countless beings within their bodies,
so that during this magnificent and rare time, they may follow the Buddha to save countless suffering beings.
Everything in the world proceeds within the cycle of cause and effect.
The affinity between the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre and the fourfold assembly of disciples, and the Dharma affinity with sentient beings in the Dharma realm,
is also the same; therefore, every second and every moment should be cherished, for they are all times for awakening and achievement.
Moving forward in gratitude is a driving force for diligent practice.
I believe that those with a vow, and those with boldness and perseverance, will surely achieve success.
