Those who know suffering, in order to leave suffering behind, must be able to remain steady and not be disturbed by external environments,
This requires one to put in the work from the heart.
This heart is important,
Regardless of how the external environment changes, what tone people use in their speech,
Or how they slander or blame, once receive the information,
The heart does not cling to appearances, remains steady without being disturbed, and lets go without going through discriminations or delusions,
This is the skill of practice.
If you realise that you or others have emotions, , words, or expressions that are unpleasant,
You should be able to realise it early and not let it expand; these situations are defilements,
Do not let defiled matters expand. If one can shrink them, one is a wise person.
If the heart knows that the world is an illusion and does not cling, one can remain steady and follow Causal Conditions,
Then one can accept various changes in a calm and stable state without disturbing the heart,
And the practice will not be disturbed.
As long as there is Buddha in the heart, Buddha is in the heart, in the mouth, in actions, and in vows,
At all times and in all places, with Buddha in the heart, without external interference,
And by chanting one Buddha's name to the end, one achieves the meditative concentration of .
In a state of deep meditative concentration, one is not disturbed by external environments, nor is one swayed by , Speech, and Mind of others,
To be able to remain steady and not be turned by the environment is to attain meditative concentration.
Those who have attained deep meditative concentration can remain steady amidst movement, and from this state of deep meditative concentration, wisdom arises,
When wisdom manifests, suffering is resolved; this is the wise person in the world.
The world is filled with countless sufferings; only Buddha-wisdom can resolve them,
May Buddha-wisdom manifest to resolve the sufferings of all, here at Hsiang Kuang: A Sacred Sanctuary.
