Teachings by Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju:
Buddhas and Bodhisattvas save beings because they have ; thus, they can offer themselves selflessly without seeking reward, wishing only for beings to leave suffering behind and gain happiness.
Because they understand that beings are controlled by and struggle to be independent, becoming selfish for the sake of , with deep ego-attachment and views, suffering from birth, aging, sickness, and death, and unable to escape the suffering of reincarnation.
Therefore, to save beings from suffering, the Buddha’s teachings are deeply cultivated in Australia.
Even after enduring many hardships and suffering interference and attacks from demon crowds, they continue to give without complaint or regret, wishing for people and beings to know Amitabha Buddha and the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, to recite the Holy Name "Namo Amituofo", and to propagate the Buddha’s teachings.
Because they understand that beings possess their true self-nature but are obscured by confusion and suffer from difficulties that are hard to resolve, they continuously use their own strength to teach beings connected by karmic affinity, or through lectures, demonstrating the methods to dissolve karma and leave suffering behind through both physical and verbal teachings, not being led by the body, not creating evil, and widely forming affinity.
Because they realise that people, due to their personality traits, stir up karma, attracting to manifest, spiritual attachment, and even interference from demon crowds, thus suffering and obstructing the of their true self, they repeatedly emphasise the importance of changing personality traits.
And by setting an example, through fierce diligence, they change their personality until not even a trace remains, thereby regaining their true self.
And they selflessly offer their Body-Mind-Spirit to save beings in the human world, the spirit realm, and demon crowds, having already saved countless upon countless beings.
Because of their faith in the Buddha, a firm and unwavering deep faith, and under the Buddha's , they break through again and again, advancing further and further, until now, following the Buddha to save all boundless suffering sentient beings.
This is Practitioner Su of Fragrant Light, who offers selflessly, and it can also be the fourfold assembly (monks, nuns, laymen, laywomen) or those who hear and follow.
