The past and this present life have already passed and will never return.
We have travelled back and forth through the six realms of existence countless times, only we have forgotten.
In this life, we possess a human body; although we do not remember the past, it is not non-existent; it is all stored within the .
Opening the Alaya reveals an endless, boundless, and immeasurable expanse that encompasses the vastness of the Realm, as deep and wide as the Dharma Realm itself.
This is not only true for you, me, or others, but for every single being.
Even if one is currently an animal, insect, a crawling or flying creature, or the physical world—wishing to be as free as the wind, mountains & rivers, all possess an Alaya consciousness.
This body is a universe, containing all things, all beings, and all phenomena experienced since time immemorial.
We have been to this world and others, this planet and that, and every path of the six realms of existence; in each path, we have had our own parents, teachers, family members, and .
We have been sentient and insentient beings, performed good and evil deeds, the five evils and five virtues, the ten evils and ten virtues, and even all the phenomena and events seen before our eyes; we have participated in them all and were a part of them. Now, our spirits are obscured, and we no longer remember.
People’s spirits can become clear through purification and practice, and the innate abilities of can be restored.
One can see and even know the past, present, and future, and have the opportunity for , to become a Buddha, and to be the master.
Other beings, however, lack this opportunity to practise; they do not remember their past experiences and can only spend their lives, or even many lifetimes, following the instincts of their current species.
Beings who have entered space, if not for the Buddha-name and Buddha-light opening up space, would find it difficult to escape for trillions of years.
Just like the ancient demons and old demons of the Demon Realm who have entered space;
at this time, the Buddha-light and Buddha-name of Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su open up space, allowing them to depart from space, escape the Demon Realm, subdued the demon crowds, and be sent to the Western Land of Dharma Nature.
This has never happened in the past, but it is manifesting now because of the Ultimate Vow of Practitioner Su and the Buddha's of Namo Amituofo.
To chant one Buddha's name to the end, "I am a Buddha,"
is what is advocated by Practitioner Su of the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia, where Namo Amituofo is residing here. It is the direction that the fourfold assembly (monks, nuns, laymen, laywomen) is expected to practise, yet everyone is still striving diligently.
This is because, through Buddhist education in this life, we have learned that all beings possess a true self / self-nature and all have the opportunity to become a Buddha.
However, not all beings in the six realms of existence have the opportunity to become a Buddha; only in the human world is the A Rare and Precious Spiritual Connection manifest, where one has this body to engage in True Cultivation. When manifests, one must let go of the "self" and selfishness, allowing the karma accumulated over lifetimes to be purified, only then can one see the Buddha-nature and true self / self-nature.
Chanting one Buddha's name to the end, "I am a Buddha," is the truth, yet it is not easily revealed due to the obscuration of habits.
If one can hold firmly to this direction and practise diligently,
then the students of Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, under the Buddha's blessings,
will certainly have the opportunity for Awakening and to attain Buddhahood.
