Teachings by Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju:
The of this body,
stores all the events and memories that have occurred over accumulated lifetimes.
The from accumulated lifetimes also reside within this body,
in the cells, the internal organs, the muscles and bones, the blood circulation,
and in subtle mental notes.
These karmic creditors may be awake, currently operating ;
or they may be affecting the functions of -Mind-Spirit and life, leading to a state of ageing and illness;
perhaps they are in a deep sleep without any movement;
or they may be stirred to wake up at any time, entering into actions to seek revenge and repay grievances.
The body is a vast universe, where immeasurable and boundless beings exist.
If one’s mental notes are kind and compassionate,
one can lead the cells of the entire body and all beings to enter into a belief of kindness and ,
and thus the body, heart, and spirit can often remain in kindness and compassion.
If the heart has unwholesome mental notes, attachments, or the "self," personal ego, and selfishness of greed, anger, delusion, arrogance, doubt, wealth, lust, fame, food, and sleep,
then it will also attract the appearance of karmic creditors who possess unwholesome mental notes, attachments, or the "self," personal ego, and selfishness of greed, anger, delusion, arrogance, doubt, wealth, lust, fame, food, and sleep,
thereby causing the cells of the entire body to remain in a negative, dim, and impure state.
If the heart is fickle, the body also remains in a state of impermanence,
changing emotionally or physically due to one’s own subjective views and state of mind;
if the heart is stable and peaceful, the body also often remains in a stable and peaceful state.
This body is truly not under one's own control! Let go of yourself through Generosity!
The "self," personality, subjectivity, and attachment—these are all karma.
A practitioner who has , no personality, and can let go of subjectivity and attachment is on a bright path.
Practice is for the purpose of finding one's true self.
Within the true self, there is no pollution,
no "self," no personality, no subjectivity, and no attachment; it is pure and unstained.
Let go of this stained body that cannot be controlled through Generosity, follow Amitabha Buddha,
and let the cells in the body, the karmic creditors, and the sentient beings with karmic affinity all follow Amitabha Buddha together,
chanting the Holy Name "Namo Amituofo" together.
Walk the Buddha's path and make a vow to follow the Buddha to save beings;
to achieve oneself for the sake of saving beings is to save oneself.
To chant one Buddha's name to the end is to change personality traits and habits while undergoing purification.
To learn the Buddha's path is to learn "I am a Buddha," having come for the sake of saving beings.
Let go of the past,
and steadfastly chant only Namo Amituofo, without a second thought,
only following Namo Amituofo.
No longer let your personality traits and habits manifest and suffer the pain of karma; you will be able to transform karma and see your true nature.
