This is a record of an interview with Mr. Huang Deyou and Ms. Li Xiuling, the parents of Lay Practitioner Huang Wenji, who sought deliverance at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. They now reside in the . This account reflects upon their transition and message to their children. Recorded by the chief writer, Venerable HaiZe, on November 12, 2018.

Venerable HaiZe speaks:

"I respectfully invite Mr. Huang Deyou, father of Huang Wenji, or Ms. Li Xiuling, mother of Huang Wenji, to be interviewed. Your children have words they wish to share with you."

Mr. Huang Deyou speaks:

"I am Huang Deyou. Thank you."

A Heartfelt Expression of Filial Gratitude

"Wenji, and my daughters Meixia, Lixia, and Bixia, thank you for your filial piety. Yesterday, you invited six of our elders from the family to the -Nature Land. Some of them were still a bit dazed when they emerged, while others were overjoyed; none of us expected to be invited out under such circumstances. They want me to tell you: thank you. Your efforts have truly reached us, and we are deeply moved by your devotion."

"Regarding the renovation and rental of Zhixing’s property, that is a very good idea. We are no longer in the human world, so please handle these matters as you see fit. Do not worry about us; focus on your own lives and your practice."

The Profound Nature of the Great Dharma

"Here, your mother and I have been listening to the sutras. We never knew the Buddha’s teachings were so wonderful. If we had known earlier, it would have been good to understand even a little while we were still alive. However, the Dharma taught by Practitioner Su can only be heard at this time. You must also practise. Now, your mother and I know that this is called the Great Dharma. We have already departed, so you—especially you, Wenji—must diligently chant Namo Amituofo. The environment here is so magnificent; you must take good care of yourselves."

A Final Farewell and Future Reunion

"Very well, I will tell Grandfather, Grandmother, the Fifth Uncle, the Fifth Aunt, and our ancestors that they must also go to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss in the future. This time, your mother and I are going to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. On that day, you must come to see your parents off!"

"Namo Amituofo."
