The Scientist's Awakening: An Interview with Albert Einstein
An Interview with the Spirit of Albert Einstein in the Western Pure Land
This is a record of an interview with Albert Einstein, who sought deliverance at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. He now resides in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This account reflects upon his life and his current understanding of the universe. Recorded by the chief writer, Fa Ning, on May 18, 2026.
Albert Einstein speaks:
"Namo Amituofo. I am Albert Einstein, the physicist and scientist known to people all over the world. Many have often regarded me as the person with the most brilliant mind of the 21st century, and even today, that reputation persists. When I still possessed a human body, when I was still 'Einstein,' I might have felt a flicker of pride at such a title. But now? Having resided in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss for thirteen years, surrounded by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, how could I possibly have the audacity to call myself 'brilliant'? The truth is, my former self was not brilliant at all. In fact, I was nothing more than a puppet—ha! It is quite amusing to think about it now."
The Puppet of the Past
"You might be wondering: how can the Einstein you know—the man with the most powerful imagination, the man who left such a monumental impact on physics and science—call himself a puppet? To understand this, we must delve into the story of my life. It has been over a decade since I arrived in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. Time has passed in the blink of an eye. While thirteen years have gone by in the human world, for me, it feels like only a short while has passed here. Yet, I have undergone significant purification. Some might wonder if the difference in time between the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss and the human world can be explained by my 'Theory of Relativity.' Does that great theory offer a glimpse into this phenomenon?"
Beyond the Limits of Human Calculation
"Not at all! Not at all! The various theories I proposed—those that had such a profound impact on human society, the understanding of the universe, and the nature of reality—whether it was the General Theory of Relativity, E=mc², or the photoelectric effect—these were merely formulas derived from the limited human brain. They were tools used to calculate the mysteries of time, space, and gravity that people could imagine and observe. But what people cannot imagine is the Truth that lies beyond the scope of human knowledge. Such Truth cannot be discovered without coming to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss to learn from the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and without studying the true Buddhist education from Namo Amituofo."
If someone were to ask me, Albert Einstein, how a human being can attain the same Wisdom as the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to perceive the Truth of the universe, or what one must study to achieve such a state, the answer is actually quite simple.
Within this world of science and Buddha’s teachings—which often appears profound, complex, and difficult to discern—everything ultimately originates from the heart. As long as this heart is pure and filled with Goodness, without a single trace of pollution, one can naturally open their eyes to see the Truth of the spiritual world and all things. This is a natural state of being. However, after countless lives of being tainted, and with the gathering of more beings on this Earth influencing our collective thinking, we have become increasingly 'clever' while our pollution has grown deeper and more pervasive.
Once this pollution reaches a certain depth, people completely obstruct their own innate, natural abilities. They become unable to make any breakthroughs in the spiritual world or perceive the Truth of the universe as revealed in the Buddha’s teachings, because they have effectively blocked themselves. Every thought, every theory, and every 'truth' they discover is, in reality, merely layer upon layer of pollution that blinds them to the actual Truth.
The Truth of the Universe is a Vast Forest, While I Was Rolling Around on a Single Leaf
In truth, the arguments, evidence, and theories of human science are not necessarily 'wrong'—they are valid theories within their own context. However, they represent only a tiny, minuscule fragment of the vast map of the universe’s Truth. For the sake of this tiny piece of theoretical knowledge, people abandon the magnificent forest, exhausting their energy and racking their brains just to grasp a single green leaf. In doing so, they sacrifice their Wisdom-life and blind their own true self—which is the forest itself.
For instance, if people could fully develop their innate potential according to the Buddha’s teachings, following the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way—just as Practitioner Su does—they could achieve the state of chanting 'Namo Amituofo' to the very end and reading the Infinite Life Sutra to the very end. If they truly implemented this in their daily lives, they would be able to see the Truth of the entire forest, rather than merely using limited human knowledge to explore a single leaf.
If I explain it this way, can you understand the vast difference between the 'pseudo-science' of the human world and the science found within the Buddha’s teachings? As for me, Albert Einstein, I spent my entire life struggling and rolling around on that one leaf. I exhausted my life’s energy to discover a 'truth' that was merely covered by layers of pollution, and in the end, I only understood that one leaf. I could not see the world outside, nor could I see the Truth of the universe—the forest itself.
I squandered my body and my innate Wisdom-life. I could have developed my true self and Buddha-nature to encompass the entire universe, yet I wasted it on developing a single leaf to satisfy the curiosity and desire for exploration of one generation. Is this not a great tragedy?
This is precisely why I have been so filled with - and happiness during these ten-plus years in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss!
Everything I spent my life exploring is, from the perspective of the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, nothing more than a primary school subject—something that can be understood at a single glance. I spent my whole life in the human world pondering these things, yet I left with regrets, unable to discover everything I had sought to know.
The tragedy is that for the sake of this leaf—which is not even one percent of the whole—I not only abandoned the entire forest and my own Wisdom-life and roots of Wisdom, but I also allowed this tiny leaf to branch out and spread in the human world. Because of my small theory, I caused many negative influences on the human world, technological products, and scientific exploration. Based on my theories, people have invented and discovered more items in subsequent research, which are now used in the countless high-tech products in our daily lives. This includes the televisions, computers, and mobile phones that people are so familiar with today. All these various high-tech products are underpinned by the theories I developed back then.
Does this not show that everything I did not only failed to bring about Goodness but actually brought negative influences to society? When it comes down to it, that is indeed the case!
The Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way that Transcend Time and Space
Therefore, before one possesses the skills of a Buddha or , and before one understands the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, everything one thinks and plans may appear bright and brilliant. But in the long run, how can one know if the fruits of these developments will align with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way? Poor, ordinary people cannot understand this. That is why, in the human world, everyone unknowingly creates immeasurable and boundless that they cannot repay. When they fall into the hells, they do not even know what they did wrong or the extent of the influence they caused.
This is why, after arriving in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, I have become extremely humble and modest. I have deeply realised the vast difference between 'those who have realised their true nature' and 'ordinary people.' Those who can penetrate the Truth of the universe know whether every action aligns with that Truth; they have a clear understanding of everything without a single doubt. For ordinary people, this is impossible. Your field of vision is so narrow; you create so much karma for the sake of this body without even realising it. You cannot penetrate time and space to see the past and the future, nor can you see the difference between the outward appearance of things and their inner reality.
This is the reason why I once called myself a 'puppet.' Everything I did up to that moment—the various verifications and promotions of my scientific theories—was not only because many beings and demon crowds were involved, but also because my own true self had not yet reached the stage of 'realising one's true nature.' How could I have known whether everything I did, when viewed across time and space and at the essence of things, truly aligned with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way?
The Participation of Karma and the Interference of the Demon Realm: The Birth of Scientific Theory
Looking back, every item in this world that stimulates people—especially modern high-tech products—has countless beings and demon crowds participating in its creation. From the research, development, conception, and final formation of these products to their promotion and sale throughout the world, how many beings and demon crowds are involved in this entire process? I can see it very clearly from the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.
The various theories I developed throughout my life required extremely meticulous thinking, an incredibly clear mind, the most precise logical reasoning in the world, and a highly sensitive power of observation to carry out all those physical and mathematical calculations. Such high-intensity brain activity is not something an ordinary person can bear, nor is it a height that the average person's IQ can reach.
So, if we explore this from the perspective of the Buddha’s teachings and science, why did I, Albert Einstein, possess what that generation considered the 'smartest brain'? In truth, this is related to the Causal Conditions of my many lives. Of course, in terms of the Buddha’s teachings, the smarter the brain, the more profound the scientific theories one can explore, and the more powerful the technological products one can develop. Thus, the foundation of all these theories is already inextricably linked to one's own massive karma.
Back then, I could often deduce scientific theories from seemingly ordinary details in daily life. Sometimes, while sitting on a tram, I would feel the speed of the tram and the speed of surrounding objects, and I could gradually calculate theories like relativity, which overturned people’s thinking and cognition—even overthrowing the theories of the most famous physicist of that time, Newton. Or, by watching an object slide down from a height, I could calculate the true reality of gravity.
My brain was constantly performing meticulous calculations and rehearsals, as if countless images were overlapping in my mind, sketching out all the Truths and theories I sensed. Such a brain was, in fact, not being mastered by my own true self.
Scientific Rehearsals in Space
By the time I reached this stage of my life, I was only in my twenties. Because my thinking had been overly rapid, sharp, precise, and delicate since childhood, everything I observed piled up in my brain, and I had never let go of any of it. That is why people might have felt that I, Albert Einstein, often liked to think alone or even 'enter space.' They were right; in reality, this was a manifestation of entering space at that time.
Only when I detached from the autonomy of my true self and entered that space could I calculate these scientific theories. In that space, there were many, many beings and demon crowds participating, performing these calculations with me. They would coordinate with my imagination, and these beings would present the images I imagined. Using these images to conduct my conceptualisation was something I was very accustomed to.
I had been communicating and interacting with so many beings and demon crowds in that space all along, yet I was completely unaware of it! This is the mystery of the spiritual world, and it is only now, having arrived in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, that I am able to know the Truth of what happened back then. Namo Amituofo.
"It could be said that when I was Einstein, all of this felt like mere inspiration to me. I assumed it was the result of my own keen observation and the theories I had deduced and projected through this physical body of mine. But no, that was not the case at all! People might ask: why was it Einstein who could perform these scientific calculations, and not someone else? If one wishes to investigate why I possessed such an extraordinary mind from childhood, it is perhaps more appropriate to begin with the stories of my many lives."
Einstein Created by Past and Present Lives
"In the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, because I possess the 'knowing past lives' ability—a power that Namo Amituofo bestows upon all beings of the Western Land—I am finally able to understand the truth of my past and present lives. I saw with my own eyes that I was once a top-tier ancient demon in the Demon Realm, a demon of supreme intelligence who exerted a profound influence. The demon crowds with whom I had karmic affinities—whether they were ancient demons, old demons, demon kings, or their sons and grandsons—were vast in number. When I was Einstein, every one of them participated in the calculations of my scientific theories and contributed to the source of my inspiration. There was a very deep karmic connection between us.
This is the first point. Secondly, I have also been a practitioner in the Buddha’s gate for many lives. At that time, I knew what the true self was, and I understood that the Dharma is the ultimate 'high technology.' This is why, in this lifetime, I always had such a powerful curiosity about the truths of the universe. It was because this was knowledge I had already explored in the past, only to have it buried under the pollution of many lifetimes. Yet, when I sought to re-examine these truths, my own karma and personality led to a process where most of these explorations were controlled and influenced by other beings and demon crowds. The demon crowds and beings who worked alongside me to calculate these scientific theories also shared deep karmic connections with one another.
Therefore, when I took on this human body as Einstein, my personality traits allowed many demon crowds and beings to control my thinking. Everyone worked together, as if fulfilling past vows and continuing past lines of thought, to develop and advocate for these profound theories in the human world. To the people of that era, these theories often seemed absurd, shocking, and impossible to fully comprehend. But in my world, they were easily understood. The reason is that this was not my individual understanding; rather, it was I, along with my numerous demon sons, grandsons, demon kings, ancient demons, and old demons, using this body of Albert Einstein to understand and explore these things. This allowed us to deduce this series of profound theories and led to the subsequent birth of all these high-tech products.
In our demon group at that time, it was not just I, this ancient demon, who was extremely intelligent; even my demon kings, sons, and grandsons all possessed minds as quick as mine. Everything we did was precise and accurate. As an old demon, I could be considered the founder and leader of our demon group. The standards I set for entering this group were incredibly high! Not just any demon could enter at will; they had to pass through a rigorous screening process. Only demons with sufficient intelligence were able to join.
Having said this, do you in the human world find everything I am saying to be absurd, strange, or perhaps too mystical? In reality, all of this is one of the universal truths found within the Buddha’s teachings.
Before people realize their true nature and attain Buddhahood, or before they arrive in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, they cannot possess the innate ability of 'knowing past lives.' Namo Amituofo bestows upon all beings of the Western Land the same supernatural powers as the Buddha. Perhaps some spiritual practitioners in the world can perceive a glimpse of this, but to truly see through all of one's past lives, with everything presented clearly before one's eyes without a single detail missing—only Namo Amituofo can fulfill such a wish for everyone. This is why the Buddha’s teachings are the true 'high technology'!
What I said earlier about having been a practitioner in the Buddha’s gate is true, but my karma from that time still existed. Even though I was supremely intelligent in this life, it was precisely because of that intelligence that I created immeasurable and boundless karma. When I was a monk in the Buddha’s gate, I had a hidden habit of arrogance. It was usually concealed and not apparent, but at critical moments, this arrogance influenced many fellow practitioners. It made them keep their distance from me and harbor resentment, unable to forgive me. Because of this arrogance, combined with jealousy and obstruction, the practitioners who were affected by me formed a massive force within my own karma.
In this life, besides my own supreme intelligence, they also relied on my temperament and cooperated with the demon crowds, allowing me to successfully develop many excellent theories. They allowed future generations to use these theories as a foundation to develop various technological products, thereby creating much karma. What they were happy to see was me, Einstein, going to the hells to report for duty because of the immeasurable and boundless karma I had created. Therefore, I must say that the karma created throughout many lives is truly subject to the laws of karma and cause and effect; it is never empty!
Scientific Discovery Under Collective Karma
At a certain point, when my personal karma connected with the collective karma of immeasurable and boundless beings, this karma manifested. Especially when my personality traits were fully displayed in this life without being thoroughly corrected, it became the time when beings and demon crowds could powerfully control my thinking. These scientific discoveries and inventions were the result of my own massive karma combined with the massive collective karma of the people of that era.
From the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, I can see that many miracles, events, or major breakthroughs and inventions in history were not only the result of the scientists or inventors themselves, but also the karma of the beings within them. Furthermore, they were the result of the collective karma generated by the inventors, the vast number of beings in that era, and the beings within their own bodies.
This explains why people are curious: why did these discoveries come from Einstein's brain and not someone else's? Why was Einstein's brain more special and different? In terms of physics and science, people might say they dissected Einstein's brain and found what made it different, but they do not know the massive secret hidden within that difference. It turns out that only in the Buddha’s gate can one find the answer.
The Buried Innate Ability of : Going Against Universal Truth
Within a limited framework of knowledge, people like to use their six roots to deduce various theories, reach conclusions, and conduct scientific research. Everything that people can imagine, smell with their noses, hear with their ears, or touch with their hands is considered the most real and direct experience. However, the Buddha’s gate is precisely about letting everyone truly put down these six roots and use their true self to answer these truths.
Because people use their six roots to contact , they have made these various discoveries. In reality, everything is a source of pollution that obstructs the development of one's innate spiritual ability! Just as I said before, my own wisdom and wisdom-life were completely buried within my massive body because I was heavily developing these external things and the six roots of . They could not be developed or manifested. Although what I did was seen by the world as an unprecedented and brilliant scientific discovery, in the Buddha’s gate, it is only through a sincere heart, a pure heart, free from all defilement, and the ability to transform into wisdom that one can reach the state of and realizing one's true nature. Only then can one see the truth of reality and truly restore the facts. These two types of discoveries are completely different!
Because I, Einstein, planted the seeds of arrogance, selfishness, and jealousy in past lives, I was unable to develop the innate ability of my six roots to transform consciousness into wisdom and attain Awakening after obtaining this human body. Instead, I went completely in the opposite direction, allowing beings and demon crowds to control me and vigorously develop the interaction between my six roots and the six dusts. It turns out that I was walking on a path that went against the truth of the universe, all without knowing it! I thought that in my old age, I might be able to discover the ultimate theory to explain the truth of the universe, but unfortunately...
Although I did not achieve this wish before I died, I assumed that future generations would be able to continue exploring, following the path I opened, and using limited scientific knowledge to perhaps discover the truth. The tragedy is that no one knew that the direction I was leading everyone in was the exact opposite of the universal truth!
This means that before I arrived in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, my wisdom and the wisdom of Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su were facing in two completely different directions! I was still smugly thinking that I might truly be one of the smartest people in human history or in the society of that time. I never expected that with the appearance of Practitioner Su in the human world, my theories could be overturned so quickly. Seeing everything in the human world from the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss has made me truly convinced. I am willing to put down everything I learned in the past and all my prejudices, and to accept all the truths and realities taught in the Buddha’s teachings with a down-to-earth, humble, and modest heart. Namo Amituofo."
I, Albert Einstein, have the utmost admiration for Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su in my heart. Before the Buddha, I prostrate myself completely, filled with boundless gratitude! How could I have known what a Buddha was in my past life? I was a Jew and a scientist, yet I still held onto faith. However, I did not believe in traditional religions that posit a God as the master of all things in this world, the controller of natural changes, or the sole explanation for the truth of all facts.
My Theory of Everything
What I believed in was a set of natural laws where humanity and nature merge into one. This was the law and the truth I sought to explore throughout my entire life, yet I was never able to complete it. I always assumed that those who came after me would follow in my footsteps, continuing the exploration until they could find a concise and powerful formula or theory to explain the truth of the universe. All of this was to be the foundation of what I called faith.
I did not complete this in my lifetime, and to this day, no one else has been able to finish it. Now, observing my own research and discoveries through the eyes of a Westerner in the Pure Land, I have realised that everything I and my contemporaries explored and studied was merely the truth within a limited space—a reality perceivable by human eyes in the human world. It could not represent the truth beyond the human realm, let alone the truth of the universe! As I just mentioned, if people's research cannot even correctly recognise or explore the infinitely layered, truly existing spirit realm beings and demon crowds within their own bodies, how can they speak of everything in the universe?
Specifically, my discovery of the photoelectric effect, which revealed that light is composed of photons, simultaneously confirmed the real existence of atoms and molecules. This made people at the time ecstatic because, in the human world, in the fields of science and physics, it was a major breakthrough. But from the perspective of a being of the Western Land, one realises how insignificant that was. It is truly vastly different from the depth and breadth of the realms that Practitioner Su, who is an awakened being despite having no formal schooling, can explore!
The Infinite Worlds Within
Practitioner Su realised his true nature and attained Buddhahood in the human world, and he has been blessed by the presence of Namo Amituofo. Only after learning the high-tech Buddha’s teachings from Namo Amituofo was Practitioner Su able to discover that within the infinitely layered cells of the human body, and even within every single molecule, there exist worlds as vast as the universe. Never mind the atoms and molecules I, Einstein, discovered; Practitioner Su can clearly foresee every world as vast as the universe existing within each molecule. He can see the structures, the various cause and effect relationships, and the karma between them with perfect clarity.
In contrast, I, Einstein, merely discovered their independent existence and some scientific applications. Compared to Practitioner Su's ability to explore the infinite cause and effect relationships spanning immeasurable eons, and the countless connections across vast ages, my discoveries appear far too insignificant!
Atoms and Molecules: The Transformation of Thought Power
Furthermore, what I, Einstein, admire most is not just that Practitioner Su can explore the structure, identity, and the complete information of past and present lives of every atom, molecule, and particle across time and space, but that he also knows how to counteract their problems.
How does one resolve the cause and effect relationships between each atom and molecule? How does one resolve the various grievances between them? Within these beings, there are infinite other beings, each with their own . Through this Alaya consciousness, Practitioner Su can know the spiritual story of every being, prescribe the right medicine, help them fulfil their wishes, and ultimately lead them to be reborn in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss or the Western Land of Dharma Nature—the true and ultimate Pure Buddha Land. This allows these beings to no longer suffer in the six realms of rebirth and to attain ultimate, perfect happiness.
Such an unfathomable, yet vital matter is simply worlds apart from everything I, Einstein, explored! The term Alaya consciousness was something I had absolutely no knowledge of, nor could I have ever imagined, when I possessed a human body.
Practitioner Su can see the good and evil, the purity and impurity, within every atom and molecule at a glance. Moreover, as soon as Practitioner Su applies his thought power, he can help them solve their difficulties and grant them eternal life. Everyone, please consider: is this Buddha’s teaching not a high technology? Is it not far superior to any scientific theory that people in the human world could ever explore?
The high technology used by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas is precisely these three words: thought power. That is correct! Indeed, the term thought power is truly profound! Its profundity lies in the fact that it does not need to be generated through any external force or any intellectual thinking, yet it possesses such deep and vast energy. This is the high wisdom and natural instinct that flows spontaneously from an awakened being who is truly filled with .
When I first arrived in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, I was confused and did not understand the truth of it all; I only felt that Practitioner Su's skills were truly, truly high. But as I purified myself here for a period of time and listened to the sutras and heard the Dharma, I began to see through everything just as the Buddha does. With the knowing of past lives and the heavenly eye, these instincts are fully equipped. And when I began to use these supernatural powers, I realised how precious the compassion, purity, impartiality, and wisdom of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas truly are! Practicing to become a Buddha can bring such a great gift and such immense benefits to the human world!
Ultimately, thought power is a capability possessed by all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. There are many explanations for this in the Infinite Life Sutra. What kind of high science is this thought power, after all? It turns out that the energy of human thought power can be incredibly vast and expansive.
Emptiness and Thought Power: Achieving a Pure and Dignified Buddha Land
The difference between thought power and ordinary mental power is that it is the thought power generated by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas under the guidance of high wisdom. Thought power can achieve a pure and dignified Buddha Land; it can achieve the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss and the Western Land of Dharma Nature. Thought power is the highest energy that can be emitted by all who have realised their true nature, and it can bring real benefits and advantages to all beings.
Within this immense energy lies a heart that is most compassionate, most pure, and most . When a person has no self, they can also exert such tremendous energy. As long as one lets go of this body, what one gains is infinite, inexhaustible energy. This is why, after realising their true nature and attaining achievement, Buddhas and Bodhisattvas can use thought power to build the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss and the Western Land of Dharma Nature. Because this energy is extremely pure and devoid of self, the energy itself is incredibly vast—far beyond what the world can imagine. No-self is emptiness; within emptiness, one can naturally contain everything without limit. This includes the energy itself, which can be infinitely expanded and transmitted far and wide.
The nature of emptiness, because it is devoid of anything, can manifest into everything that is most Good and most pure within one's vows. The phrase from the Infinite Life Sutra,
If people can continue their practice, even to the point of letting go of the final layer of confusion, thoroughly removing it until there is no longer a sense of 'self,' then it is as if the cup itself has ceased to exist. When the cup no longer exists, it means that even the limitations of the container itself are gone. Since the limitations of the container are already gone, one might ask: how many beings can this space encompass? Naturally, it is infinite and boundless!
'Nothingness': The Scientific Perspective of the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss
This is why those who have realised their true nature can establish a Pure Buddha Land according to their own vows. Because they have thoroughly broken through the final layer of confusion and have no 'self' left, they can realise a vow of any magnitude. Because there is no longer this 'container,' there are no longer any limitations, and the energy can be as vast as one desires. The same applies to the number of beings that can be accommodated; it can hold as many as needed.
The science presented in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is one that moves step by step toward 'nothingness,' rather than the limited world of humans, where having more is considered the standard for being 'better.' The Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is the exact opposite: when one becomes increasingly 'empty' or 'nothing,' one can encompass more, eventually reaching the point of encompassing everything. This is the scientific perspective of the Western Pure Land!
Namo Amituofo made the Forty-eight Great Vows, and the reason every single vow can be realised is that Namo Amituofo Himself has no 'self'—there is no 'container' left. Therefore, all vows are naturally without any limitations, manifesting directly into the Pure Buddha Land through the 'power of chanting and wisdom.' Because there are no limitations, the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss can accommodate infinite beings entering it, and there will never be a time when it is 'full.'
The Compassion of
Of course, Amitabha Buddha spent five kalpas of time establishing the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. During these five kalpas, the Buddha, with great compassion, extensively accumulated merit, letting go of everything He possessed and using His entire life to serve the vast, infinite number of beings. He hoped that through this profound merit, He could transform it into all the dignity within the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, allowing the beings of the Western Land to enjoy all this beauty.
Furthermore, because of the application of His vows, Amitabha Buddha very compassionately gifted His name—the six-character great name 'Namo Amituofo'—and the profound merit within it, to all beings willing to chant the Buddha-name. Through this opportunity, He helps some beings achieve a pure heart, an equal heart, and a compassion equal to the Buddha's. Most importantly, through this name, all beings can obtain infinite energy, elevate themselves, and realise their true nature to attain Buddhahood. Therefore, chanting the Buddha's name is a very scientific practice!
This is, in fact, the most scientific manifestation of those who have realised their true nature! It is just like how Practitioner Su, while realising his true nature and attaining Buddhahood in the human world, has also been continuously performing to lead infinite beings into the Western Land of Dharma Nature.
The Natural Energy of 'Exponential Growth': Emptiness Can Give Rise to Everything
This immense merit can be transformed into infinite energy, and this energy can further be used to give back to the vast, boundless beings, continuing the work of Chao Du, gathering even greater energy, and thereby saving even more beings. This is a very virtuous cycle. From the perspective of modern human science, this energy is experiencing 'exponential growth.'
From a scientific standpoint, the generation of this energy appears to be ever-increasing. It is as if by investing one portion of merit to save one group of beings, one can obtain even more portions of energy to save even more groups of beings.
This is why the energy of those who have realised their true nature is infinite and boundless; it will never be exhausted, and it will only become greater and more vast. The establishment of the Western Land of Dharma Nature is the same. Because Practitioner Su has realised his true nature and attained Buddhahood, everything has become empty. After letting go of his own 'container,' there is infinite space to accommodate all beings, to gather all merit, to obtain infinite energy, to perform Chao Du again, to save infinite beings again, and to gather infinite energy once more.
After I, Albert Einstein, arrived in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, the thing that shocked me most was not just the establishment of the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, or the fact that Namo Amituofo can lead infinite beings to reside there and realise their true nature to attain Buddhahood. Rather, I was even more shocked that Practitioner Su, who realised his true nature in the human world with a human body, could perform the work of Chao Du. This is a 'higher science' that I deeply admire; it is truly the science of sciences! To use the word 'technology' seems a bit too weak; perhaps the word 'science' can more broadly explain this point.
All of this, of course, has a great deal to do with Practitioner Su's own energy. With this immense merit, Practitioner Su's energy has become increasingly deep, vast, and infinite, without end. Under these conditions of exponential energy growth, combined with the power of chanting and wisdom and the immense 'vow power,' Practitioner Su appears to have a human body, yet he possesses infinite capabilities, and everything he imagines can come true.
This is just like the beings of the Western Land who can manifest whatever they wish. When Practitioner Su performs Chao Du, he can also manifest whatever he wishes: if he wants to have countless manifestations to perform Chao Du, he can have as many as he needs. Because this energy is so complete, infinite, and boundless, the stage upon which it can be exercised is naturally infinitely wide and vast.
I ask, how can people in the human world use scientific and mathematical equations and calculations to calculate the magnitude and power of this energy? It is completely infinite, boundless, and immeasurable!
Because people are within limited frameworks, they frame everything within this limited knowledge, thinking that everything can be answered through calculation. However, in the world of Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and those who have realised their true nature, because of emptiness, it contains the infinite. All of this cannot be represented by any numbers from any mathematical equation. Because there is 'nothing' left, naturally, even these equations do not exist. Letting go completely—this is the source of infinite and boundless energy. Emptiness can give rise to everything; this is the scientific perspective within the Buddha's teachings!
All of this is the reality of the universe that I, in my lifetime as Albert Einstein—even if I had lived eight hundred lifetimes and worked hard for eight hundred lifetimes, specialising in these scientific studies and theories—might not have been able to penetrate even a fraction of!
Science in the Alaya Consciousness: Seeing Through the Surface and the Essence
Back then, because I discovered the existence of photons, atoms, and particles, these discoveries and explorations allowed future generations to use them as foundational knowledge and concepts for many new inventions. For later generations, whether in the research and production of various electronic products—such as the televisions, mobile phones, and computers mentioned earlier, or solar panels, calculators, and other electronic devices—they have all cited my discoveries and theories from back then. But whether these people specifically used all these inventions for positive or negative things, I have no way of knowing, nor do I have any way to control or resolve the various difficulties in their use.
Because I only discovered their existence and application, I did not, like Practitioner Su, have the ability to help every atom and every particle understand their true essence, their cause and effect relationships, and, from a spiritual perspective, the story of their respective Alaya consciousness. Because the Alaya consciousness itself transcends time and space, in the Buddha's teachings, this is a very significant discovery.
This discovery is not something that can be seen by any microscope known to the people of Earth today. Have you ever heard of any high-end microscope that can see the past and present lives of every being within the Alaya consciousness? Can it see the cause and effect relationships between them, and what their interactions are really all about? Is it possible to know all this with modern technology? Of course not! Therefore, I must honestly tell everyone that all the scientific knowledge, theories, and so on learned in the human world only explain the phenomena of things; they have no way to investigate the essence and truth of all matter.
It can be said that the science learned in the human world is 'dead.' It is very limited, and despite people's limited brains and their efforts to break through knowledge, they have no way to investigate its essence. But the universe is infinite, and the Buddha's teachings are even more infinite.
The Buddha's wisdom is infinitely vast, so the Buddha can see the truth within at a glance, proclaim it to the world, and help everyone solve their problems. For example, if something is found at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre that cannot be resolved in its use, Practitioner Su can see where the essential problem lies and can even communicate with all objects. Some problems can be resolved through the spiritual communication between Practitioner Su and the beings.
If some problems cannot be resolved according to the 'Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way,' that is also understandable. Because the spiritual world itself is complex, and so are the cause and effect relationships. Whether it can be solved or not, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, upholding the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, can clearly explain a thing or two to everyone. This is why, under the leadership of Practitioner Su, the people at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre can gradually learn how to open up space and converse with all things. And for the science of the human world, all of this is indeed so far out of reach.
After understanding this relationship in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, I deeply understood why everything I discovered, the theories I proposed, and the truths I explored in my life—although my original intention was not evil, but rather to use these theories to help the world solve problems, improve the quality of life, or explore higher truths and knowledge on this basis—ended up causing me to fall into the hells and create such infinite and boundless sins. Namo Amituofo.
"That is because everything I discovered remained merely at the level of superficial understanding and deduction. When the theories I developed, or the scientific products and technologies built upon those theories, encountered problems in application—or were used for improper purposes and to create karma—I found myself helpless. I had no way to resolve these issues, nor could I predict how profound the impact of my theories would be on people and the relationships between all things once they were promoted.
In terms of time and space, even I, Albert Einstein, could not resolve all of this, but the Buddha can. A Buddha can see the true essence of every matter at a single glance—whether it is Good or evil—everything is crystal clear.
The Limits of Human Knowledge
When I discovered the photoelectric effect, it was merely a theory that I could uncover through my physical eyes and mathematical calculations, and it was verified in various applications; that was all. As for where these applications would be used in the future or what they would be used for, I had no way of knowing. Therefore, I truly admire the profound mysteries of the Buddha’s teachings, as well as their unfathomable and boundless Wisdom. It can be said that everything I, Albert Einstein, learned in my lifetime was merely knowledge and theory, and what I explored was only the surface of things.
It is as if I were standing on a thin sheet of ice. From a scientific perspective, I could explore and resolve certain parts: I could know it was a thin sheet of ice, understand its thickness and size, observe the speed at which it flowed on the water, analyze the composition of the ice, calculate how much time it would take to melt completely under the sun, and test how much weight it could bear. These were all just superficial theories I could grasp from a scientific angle.
However, the deep Truth that the Buddha’s teachings can penetrate encompasses so much more: within this thin layer of ice, there are immeasurable and boundless beings. What is the state of their Alaya consciousness? How many beings and demon crowds are trapped within it, unable to obtain deliverance? When the ice melts, there are even more immeasurable and boundless beings in the seawater who have merged with it. What exactly is that?
The Buddha’s teachings allow us to understand why all things melt and why they solidify. Why is it that some people are born a certain way, with a particular life story, while others are different, with another life story? The Alaya consciousness and spirits of humans, along with the overlapping Alaya consciousness and spirits of the beings within the ice—everyone seems very independent, but in reality, they have an inseparable relationship. All of this can only find answers within the Buddha’s teachings.
Science and the Matter of Life and Death
This may seem a bit too distant, so why don't we talk about the matter that everyone in the human world cares about most: the great matter of life and death!
From a scientific perspective, I, Albert Einstein, might be able to understand the degree of decomposition of a corpse after death, or the cause of death. Through scientific dissection, perhaps I could know a thing or two, but how could I possibly know the true reason for a person's death?
What kind of beings manifested, or what kind of demon crowds appeared, that led to a person's aging, sickness, and death? How can one know where a person goes after death? The laws of karma and cause and effect involved, and their future direction—these are not things that the scientific community can investigate, but Buddha and Bodhisattvas can see them at a single glance.
This is why the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia exists. Because Practitioner Su possesses the skills to freely travel to and from the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, he can guide deceased spirits to the Western Pure Land.
Because Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su are Buddhas, they can see at a glance the relationship between a specific being and their family members who are still alive in the human world. They can then discern: in the ten directions, in what form or spiritual state are they presenting themselves? Perhaps they are a spirit, perhaps an animal, perhaps reborn as a human, perhaps in the heavenly realm, perhaps already reborn in the Western Pure Land, or perhaps they have entered the Demon Realm. In the eyes of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, these things can indeed be understood at a glance. With the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia, we can know the whereabouts of the deceased, which is the reason why they can be guided to the Western Pure Land.
Even when I was suffering in the hells, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas could see clearly at a glance which hell I was suffering in and all such matters. I myself might have been kept in the dark, unaware of why I fell into the hells, and unaware of why I now have the opportunity to be guided by the Buddha.
I can only share these extraordinary things with everyone now that I have reached the Western Pure Land and can clearly see the essence of all things. My heart is very stable and very peaceful because I am so grateful for the Wisdom of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. I am so grateful that I can now, after having gone through so much suffering in the hells, not only enjoy peace in the Western Pure Land but also know these truths and share the mysteries of the universe with everyone.
True high Wisdom lies in the heart of those who have realised their true nature, the Buddha and Bodhisattvas. How could my previous habits of arrogance dare to surface? I would never dare; what else could I be arrogant about? I can say there is absolutely nothing. My Wisdom is simply too far removed from that of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas!
Although my eyes have been opened in the Western Pure Land due to the compassion of Namo Amituofo, allowing me to see the same realm as the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, I have not yet realised my true nature and attained Buddhahood, so I am still working hard on my purification. Everything I say at present cannot reach the same height as the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas; I am just a good student learning in the Western Pure Land.
In the human world, I once studied under many teachers, and many of my theories were discovered through self-study; but in the Western Pure Land, I have completely surrendered myself to the Buddha. I dare not have a self; a second thought, a different line of reasoning, or subjectivity is even more impossible! In my heart, there is only full joy and gratitude. I am grateful that Namo Amituofo established the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, which not only provides a spiritual home for beings like us but also allows us to know the Truth and reality of the universe.
Furthermore, I would also like to talk about how much difference there is between everything I researched and the true Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way.
The Good and Evil in Objects
Let us return to the atoms and molecules, two scientific terms that everyone is familiar with. When I was able to confirm their existence, it made me leap with joy. But later, in the Western Pure Land, I heard the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas—especially Practitioner Su in the human world—clearly discern the essence of a substance, whether it is Good or evil, whether it is good or bad.
Some food may have already spoiled or rotted, but people do not know it. When they want to eat it, Practitioner Su might stop them and say, "Oh, this food is not suitable for consumption." Or, when seeing something that is not suitable to be bought, Practitioner Su can see the magnetic field and the Good or evil within the object at a single glance. This is because Practitioner Su can see what kind of attributes the beings within the object have; that is, he can see the cause and effect of Good and evil contained within every molecule and every atom of the object.
When people can distinguish all these things, Practitioner Su can use his power of Wisdom and to perform spiritual deliverance for many beings. It can be said that what Practitioner Su sees with his physical eyes is truly very different from what people in our human world see. We only see the good or bad, the Good or evil with our two eyes, but what Practitioner Su sees is the quality of Good or evil within these substances and things themselves, and he can even help them obtain liberation. You should all be able to understand my specific explanation, right?
I spent so much energy in my life wanting to explore many things. For example, I was able to investigate the various relationships between objects, time, and space, and I could know the mysteries of the operation of planets between the Earth and the universe. Why does the so-called "law of attraction" exist between celestial bodies? The relationships between these various things are all clearly explained in my General Theory of Relativity and Special Theory of Relativity; you can understand them for yourselves.
However, regarding the research on time, space, and gravity, I did indeed successfully complete a large part of it. From the perspective of the human world, this can indeed be applied to the explanation of many things in the natural world, and it makes sense; but everything I discovered really only remained at the level of phenomena that could be explored on the surface.
What is the deeper relationship and essence behind it?
If you were to ask me why this celestial body must operate in this place and not in another?
If people want to ask why the speed of light must be as it is, and not have another explanation?
Why must my theory be exactly as it is, and not have other possibilities?
There are too many more detailed questions that, if unfolded based on my theory, actually cannot find a true explanation. But in the world of the Buddha’s teachings, all of this can be explained.
'Existence' as a Mold for the Universe
Do you all remember the concepts of "existence" and "non-existence" that I mentioned earlier?
In the Buddha’s teachings, it was only after I arrived at the Western Pure Land that I was shocked by the huge difference between "existence" and "non-existence," and the discoveries that left me in awe. What I just said might not have been very complete; perhaps I can explain it to you more delicately.
The container I just mentioned—after the container is gone, and even this container no longer exists—one who has truly realised their true nature and attained Buddhahood can possess the immeasurable abilities of a Buddha. But do you know that, in fact, the container itself does not exist? The original state of a person, the state within one's true self, can originally encompass all things.
This sounds very common, but in fact, everyone cannot penetrate even a little bit of the quality and energy of those who have realised their true nature. Namo Amituofo."
Mass and energy—these sound very much like scientific terms used by people in this world. However, in terms of the Buddha’s teachings, everyone inherently possesses immeasurable and boundless mass and energy. All of this is actually something we have possessed from the very beginning.
Yet, from a scientific perspective, the reason people today can only possess such limited mass and energy is that they have contaminated themselves. The word "existence" itself is a form of contamination. This word allows various lives to be moulded into different shapes and appearances, and it also allows everything in the universe to be moulded into different forms. In short, "existence" is the essence that shapes all physical phenomena in this universe.
The original message was: "Existence is the various shapes of mould that mould the universe."
When this "existence" is removed, all things return to one; everything is immeasurable, infinite, and beyond calculation. This is the same principle as the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, where Namo Amituofo possesses immeasurable light and immeasurable life, and where all those who have attained rebirth in the West can possess the same energy and capabilities.
The Boundless Nature of the Buddha
Have you ever heard that the Buddha-body of Namo Amituofo is as vast as the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss itself, and that the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is boundless and without end? In terms of mass, the Buddha and the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss are infinite and boundless in volume. Furthermore, the energy of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas is the same; "immeasurable light" is itself an extension of infinite energy. All of this is inherently possessed. According to the scientific interpretation of the Buddha’s teachings, the reason people cannot attain it is simply because they have the framework of the "self," which boxes them in and limits them.
The Sixth Patriarch Huineng once said: "How unexpected that -nature is originally pure; how unexpected that the self-nature is originally unborn and undying; how unexpected that the self-nature is originally complete; how unexpected that the self-nature is originally immovable; how unexpected that the self-nature can give birth to all things." Heavens! It turns out that the Sixth Patriarch Huineng had already deduced the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way so long ago!
Isn't all of this exactly the realm of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss? Isn't this the scientific view of the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss? This infinite vastness is not achieved through any particular method; it is simply how it is—it is inherently complete!
The Shackles of the Physical Body
If we use this concept to explore the difference between a person's spirit and their physical body, it is also very simple and clear. A person's spirit, or self-nature, is boundless, but this body is a shackle that traps the spirit—it is a container. As long as a person has even the slightest attachment to the body, they cannot escape this container, and thus they cannot realise their true nature and attain Buddhahood. This is the reason why Practitioner Su constantly and earnestly counsels the fourfold assembly to let go of this body.
The Western Land of Ultimate Bliss has been established and has continued for ten kalpas. Namo Amituofo is at every moment welcoming immeasurable and boundless sentient beings from the Ten Directions of the Dharma Realm, giving them the opportunity to attain Buddhahood and realise their true nature in one lifetime.
This itself comes from the body of Namo Amituofo, who is an awakened being. In a state of having nothing, He attained everything and established a world that encompasses all things. Only the vows of a Buddha or Bodhisattva can allow all beings to attain the same equality as Him. Such great compassion is something every being inherently possesses, yet it remains to be developed.
The Energy Perspective of the Demon Realm
If we look at the phenomenon of "mass" and energy from the perspective of the Buddha’s teachings—that it is "inherently complete and can give birth to all things"—it is most appropriate when applied to the establishment and current state of the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.
But if we speak of the Demon Realm, how do we explain this matter of mass and energy? Everyone can always observe that the craving for energy among beings in the Demon Realm is extremely high. They often launch massive attacks on other planets for the sake of energy, resulting in countless casualties. So, why can the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss obtain an inexhaustible supply of energy, while the energy of everyone in the Demon Realm is consumed so rapidly?
You might as well return to the "container" I mentioned earlier. Every demon is trapped within their own container. The situation inside this container is that the space is extremely limited; in a world of "existence," this is naturally the case. Furthermore, the demons themselves have intense personalities, volatile tempers, or their thoughts and intentions are not on the Right Way. All of their negative thoughts and emotional reactions are like a raging fire, burning away this energy at every moment. When the energy is burned out, there is nothing left. They will wither and collapse, or they will frantically scavenge for energy everywhere in advance to maintain their own existence.
Therefore, no matter how high the intensity of their energy replenishment, demons seem to always have the problem of insufficient energy. This is because their intense personalities burn their energy to exhaustion. Their energy comes quickly and goes quickly, which is why their destructive power is so great. The countless destruction they cause in the Demon Realm and throughout the universe is all because they are too desperate to possess energy and their personalities are too intense.
Penetration Beyond Time and Space
I want to emphasise again that the high technology of the Buddha’s teachings is alive; it is vivid and real. It has good and evil, warmth and cold, past and present lives; it is a penetration that transcends all concepts of time and space. It can be said that the Buddha’s teachings truly penetrate all time and all space to provide a truly perfect explanation and answer, rather than just being like my own research, which could only discern the essence of things happening within the current time and space.
Having expressed so much about the difference between my own theories and the wisdom of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, everyone should be able to feel the enormous gap between them!
However, this does not mean that I want to say the Buddha’s teachings are unfathomable and beyond the reach of ordinary people. On the contrary, what I want to express now is that although the Buddha’s teachings sound very magical, as if they were Arabian Nights, if people in this world truly want to reach such a height and want to possess the ability to explore all of this like Practitioner Su, it is actually very simple:
One only needs to return to this most pure, most kind, and most clean heart, free from any contamination or杂想 (distracting thoughts). Return to the state where one is one, and two is two, without further branching out, and ensure that knowledge and action are one. Then, people will certainly be able to have all the truth appear before their eyes within a pure heart, after having achieved success in the practice of , Concentration, and Wisdom. This does not require many extra aids, and there is even less need to struggle to explore everything external, because this is something that everyone inherently possesses in their own self-nature.
The Astonishing Skills of an Awakened Being
This is the reason why I admire Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su so much! What they told me is that the two words "self-nature" can actually explain the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. People can find their own instincts—that is, this self-nature within the heart—and at that time, everyone can understand the truth of this universe better than I, Einstein, ever did. They can be exactly like the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, using true Wisdom to view the appearances and manifestations of all realms.
The skills of an awakened being are truly astonishing! If there is an awakened being on Earth, then I can clearly tell everyone: even if all the top figures in the world—those in science, medicine, physics, and so on—were to gather together and combine all their brains, they could not compare to the wisdom and vision of a single awakened being. The distance between the two is truly vast!
You should all remember what I mentioned earlier, right? That is, I spent my whole life hoping to explore the truth of the universe, and I worked hard to establish various studies and theories. But now I realise that I spent my whole life going in the exact opposite direction of the truth of the universe, moving further and further away. It would have been better not to study at all; after studying, I completely obstructed all the wisdom and instincts I originally possessed.
Therefore, all I could satisfy were some minor problems in people's lives at that time or in the present—problems that were superficial and visible to the physical eyes. I could not, like the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, help people solve the great matter of rebirth in the West, or resolve the sufferings of aging and illness. The Buddha’s teachings can give us the most perfect summary and the most perfect answer, which is: "The skills of learning from the Buddha can truly allow one to be free from aging, free from illness, and the spirit does not die." This sentence, which sounds very simple, actually contains such profound wisdom and the manifestation of innate instincts.
If I, as Einstein back then, were to understand this sentence—"free from aging, free from illness, and the spirit does not die"—I would certainly have used many scientific theories and medical knowledge to support this theory. But now, looking at everything said in the Buddha’s teachings, I cannot help but feel very ashamed. Because "free from aging, free from illness, and the spirit does not die" is actually a promise given to the world by an awakened being after understanding the truth of reality.
As long as one truly learns from the Buddha, follows Namo Amituofo, practices Faith, Vows, and Practice, and walks on the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, people can attain skills like those of a Buddha. Behind all these great skills is Practitioner Su, who does not know many characters. Because he heard the True Teachings at the age of forty-seven, he diligently purified himself within five years, emptying himself completely until there was only the Buddha and nothing else. Only then was he able to reach such a height and depth.
The Buddha’s teachings are a vivid and living science, and the heart is the root of all things.
Namo Amituofo.
Now that I am in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, I have come to realise a truth: while the Buddha’s teachings are indeed a science—the highest science, in fact—they cannot be explored using the limited scientific theories of the human world. To do so would be to severely restrict the infinite capacity of the Buddha’s teachings. The Buddha’s teachings are so vibrant and alive; the truth of the universe they reveal is inherently vast and all-encompassing. It is as broad as the Buddha’s own heart. Whatever enters this heart can be accepted; there is no black-and-white scientific theory, nor are there rigid, singular principles.
The Nature of Boundless Freedom
Living in accordance with conditions and being at ease is the essence, yet it never departs from the state of pure Goodness. Everything is rooted in purity and Goodness, yet it can branch out into various theoretical presentations. This is much like how the Buddha’s teachings share the common goal of realising one's true nature and attaining Buddhahood through the 84,000 Dharma gates, yet there are 84,000 different paths available for people to choose from. This is not a religion; it is an education for attaining Buddhahood that is infinitely inclusive and vast!
Here, I would like to discuss the concept of the heart-Dharma within the Buddha’s teachings. Since arriving in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, I have found this to be a truly miraculous concept.
The Heart as the Master
Why is it that the heart can govern everything about a person? From the perspective of spirits, the heart is not merely an organ that pumps blood; it represents the consciousness that the physical body cannot see—the Alaya consciousness I mentioned earlier.
I have always been deeply shocked by this. Science always likes to take everything conceived in the human brain as the foundation, but the Buddha’s teachings always bring up the word heart. This is because the heart is the key that truly governs a person’s body and spirit. A great key is hidden here: only when people subdue this heart and allow it to reach a state of no-mind can they help themselves reach the realm of great Awakening and realise their true nature. Practitioner Su always says that she has no-mind; this no-mind is the highest science.
The organ of the heart itself remains, but it is not shaken by anything. Regardless of how external things change, when you can master this heart and allow it to have absolutely no , fluctuations, or thoughts, that is when you can truly see through to the truth of the universe.
The Power of the Six-Character Name
I am truly shocked by the skills of the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Practitioner Su. I am still learning diligently here in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. I know that this heart is not easy to subdue because it carries too much confusion and affliction from the past to the present. Therefore, I am constantly reciting the six-character name, Namo Amituofo, not daring to be the least bit negligent. Only when one chants with a sincere and genuine heart does one realise that the energy within it cannot be compared to any words in the world.
When people in the human world speak a few extra words, their energy is depleted very quickly. However, if one chants a few more Namo Amituofo, the energy can rise rapidly. Everything depends on this word sincerity within the heart.
The Fallacy of My Own Theories
When I was in the world, the theory I was most proud of was the General Theory of Relativity. It could explain many natural phenomena in the universe, including the relationship between time, space, and the speed of light. It could also explain gravity, especially the principles behind the attraction between various planets. What is particularly strange is that I, such a proud person, actually considered all of this to be an absurd theory after coming to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. Why is that? Because everything I spoke of in my theories—whether it was the mass in the formulas or the calculations of energy—remained tangible objects under the condition of a constant speed of light. Everything was built upon the word existence. Yet, the nothingness mentioned in the Buddha’s teachings is actually the original state of the truth in the universe.
For example, in the multi-dimensional spaces that the Buddha’s teachings can see, there exist infinitely layered spaces, intertwined with many complex karmic forces and relationships. Such intricate relationships and truths, in the eyes of Einstein, could only be seen as one or two spaces, within which I endlessly rolled and researched. What I saw was merely a tiny speck within these very limited spaces. How could that be considered a theory that explains the truth of the universe?
If one cannot break through this layer, no matter how much I say, I am just rolling around in a very narrow range. How boring! This is because the Buddha’s teachings can see so many spaces. In every space, within every tiny atom and molecule, there are different formulas operating, and there are different beings in charge. Just think, in the world of spirits, even a single person’s body can have so many beings inside, acting as masters for themselves. Not to mention that in this vast universe, every star and every substance can have how many beings adding a touch of colour to this vast universe?
Namo Amituofo: The Great Scientist
Now in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, I have shared so much about the high science of the Buddha’s teachings over these past two days. These are the facts and truths that I, as Einstein, could not explore decades ago. Moreover, there are still many phenomena I do not know, and every day, every moment, there are new realisations and insights. I have not yet realised my true nature and attained Buddhahood; I am just a humble and modest student, and now a good child of Namo Amituofo. Therefore, I know even more the importance of being honest, listening, and being sincere.
In the past, I explored science with very logical thinking. But now, in the Land of Ultimate Bliss, I have let go of everything, leaving my mind empty, so that I can continuously receive the teachings from the Buddha. My heart is very, very grateful for this magnificent opportunity that allows me to speak a few words. I am also grateful for the compassionate guidance of Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su, which allows me to no longer suffer the torments of hell.
I am a sinner; I know a thing or two about it. I am even more aware that some of the theories I created led future generations to develop various products that brought about all kinds of disasters. This is something I must bear.
I once had to report to the Copper Pillar Hell because, while walking the path of science in this life, I also presented a chaotic situation in my private life and emotional world. Whether it was two marriages or the various instances of infidelity and searching for lovers during those marriages, it can be said that it never stopped. Therefore, it was only natural for me to report to hell.
This is the attraction of one’s own mental notes. The attraction of mental notes itself is also very scientific: whatever thought power you have will match your soul to the corresponding space. Naturally, you will go to that space to report. This is how it is in terms of the truth of the universe. After I died, I indeed carried a body full of sins and, following my own thoughts, came to hell to suffer. Now, having come to another Buddha-land that is even more high-science, for over a decade, I have learned so much precious Buddha-Dharma every day, and my heart is bright and clear.
I hope that everyone who reads this interview can understand that all the truths of the Buddha’s teachings are a very simple, yet very profound, wisdom and field of study. If everyone can let go of everything they have learned before—because everything is pollution—and after letting go, purify step by step to restore their original state, only then will they be able to learn all the profound high science in the Buddha’s teachings. In the past, I heard people say that the Buddha is the Great Physician; this principle is absolutely correct. Now, I, Einstein, would also like to add: the Buddha is the true Great Scientist, the leader of all scientists!
The Buddha can see the subtle spaces that people cannot see; the vast spaces that people also cannot see. It is evident that people’s pollution and obstacles have truly obstructed themselves. Now, one must shed this shell, shed this outer garment of pollution, to be able to slowly restore the original state of emptiness—a state that encompasses all things.
Namo Amituofo.
