A New Beginning Beyond the Physical Realm

To all the esteemed elders of the Buddhist community, to all my excellent partners, and to all my fellow citizens who have contributed so much effort to the Buddha’s teachings, I am Zhao Puchu. My departure from the physical world marks a completely new beginning for the Association. Whether it concerns the management and operations of the Association, the organisation of various activities, or our cooperation within the political sphere, I have witnessed the Association striving with all its heart and soul. I have truly seen your dedication, and I am deeply grateful to every one of you who has brought forth the spirit of Goodness.

However, when I look back at all the original plans and the integration of our efforts, they may have appeared quite perfect and complete. Yet, I must speak the truth: not one person truly gained the benefits of the from these endeavours. By benefits of the Dharma, I mean the ultimate liberation of achieving rebirth in the of Ultimate Bliss. This was the missing element in all my concepts at the time. The concept of Humanistic Buddhism, as we understood it, lacked this essential perspective. I feel deep shame and am repenting for this now.

The Weight of

The illnesses I suffered in my later years were not merely natural occurrences; they were the manifestation of karmic retribution. I deserved to bear that suffering. Furthermore, it is only logical that I did not achieve rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss at the time of my passing. This is because I never clearly understood the importance of rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, nor did I grasp the critical consequences of missing this opportunity. Very few people truly explore the essential practice required for rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Everyone consistently followed the established doctrines, and there was no error in that, but it is a cold, hard fact that those methods alone could not lead to rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.

Once the opportunity for rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss is lost, all the efforts one has made throughout a lifetime in this world become merely illusory achievements. Beings remain unable to leave suffering behind, and one is simply carried away by their own . Whether one falls into the Three Evil Realms or drifts through different spaces, all sentient and insentient beings have their own destinations based on their actions.

A Compassionate Call to the Western Pure Land

I speak from the depths of my heart when I say that I do not wish to see everyone continue to be reincarnated and suffer. I have already seen where everyone is heading, and my heart cannot bear it. I have done my utmost to tell you the truth of the situation. It is a source of great sorrow to me that many do not take this seriously, as if it were of no consequence or had nothing to do with them. Even when I invite you to visit the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia, many do not believe there is any necessity to visit in person. This is truly a great pity.

My fellow citizens in China, we can join hands and work hard together. Do this for yourselves, for your families, for society, and for the sake of our nation. Our country has the opportunity to turn things around. As long as you are willing to set aside your own preconceived notions and take a trip to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia to observe the way of practice, even if you only treat it as an opportunity to broaden your horizons, it will be worth it. Just one visit is enough to share in the benefits of the Dharma. Please, do not hesitate any longer. I, Zhao Puchu, sincerely and earnestly invite every one of you. Namo Amituofo.
