During the second session of the held on the 20th of April, 2025, Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju provided the following teachings regarding the profound work of .
The Ascending Ages of the Demon Crowds
The of Practitioner Su possesses countless manifestations. Through these manifestations, the demon crowds being saved are not merely ordinary spirits; their ages are constantly ascending to inconceivable heights. We are witnessing the salvation of beings that span vast epochs of time:
From little demons, great demons, old or ancient demons, all the way to ancestral demons.
The ages of these beings range from one hundred years to one billion years, ten billion years, one hundred billion years, and one trillion years.
The progression continues through ten trillion, one hundred trillion, one thousand trillion, and up to ten thousand trillion years.
The scale reaches twenty thousand trillion, thirty thousand trillion, and even further.
In today’s assembly, the age of the old demon being saved has reached thirty-four thousand trillion years.
This is truly an inconceivable event that defies ordinary human comprehension.
The Hidden Depths of
From the interviews conducted with these old demons, we have gained a clearer understanding of their existence. To evade the laws of karma and cause and effect, these beings have entered samadhi, hiding themselves for trillions of years within:
The ruins of forgotten places.
The deep, solid earth and its sands and stones.
The intense, subterranean fires beneath the earth.
The crushing, silent depths of the vast oceans.
They remained in these states for eons, attempting to escape the inevitable consequences of their past actions. It is only now, through the compassionate leading of Namo Amituofo and the Chao Du performed by the Dharma Body of Practitioner Su, that their salvation has become possible. The Buddha-light and the Twelve Lights shine everywhere, penetrating the very spaces where these demons have hidden, allowing them to be led into the Western Land of Dharma Nature.
The Call to the Fourfold Assembly
Even when these demon crowds attempt to use magic to cast spells to attack of Practitioner Su, their locations are immediately revealed. Through the Chao Du performed by Practitioner Su, the sound of the great bell resonates, attracting the old demons and their followers to enter the Western Land of Dharma Nature. If these beings truly make a sincere vow, they may then enter the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This is an opportunity that is difficult to encounter even in millions of years.
To the fourfold assembly (monks, nuns, laymen, laywomen), I ask: can your own diligent practice of chanting the Buddha-name, performing prostrations, and reciting the Sutras also ascend upward? Consider the following:
Chant the Buddha-name: Are you able to remember to raise the Buddha-name? Can you maintain a continuous, unbroken stream of 24/7, effectively subduing your delusions and wandering thoughts?
Prostrations: When you bow, do you hear the Buddha-name clearly and distinctly? Is the Buddha present in every single movement, or do you find yourself becoming drowsy and drifting into other spaces?
Reciting the Sutras: Are you reciting each word and sentence with clarity and continuity? When your practice reaches a state of maturity, you will naturally understand the profound meaning behind the words.
I have mentioned only a few points here. I ask you to reflect on whether you are truly present in your practice. If you desire to reach , you must be diligent in these basic skills. Only then can your practice move forward and truly ascend.
