Breakthrough Upon Breakthrough: The Work of Practitioner Su
Teachings from Namo Amituofo
The Boundless Reach of
Practitioner Su, through the power of his , continuously transcends the limitations of space and time to perform Chao Du throughout the vast Realm. He achieves breakthrough after breakthrough, reaching even the most ancient and powerful demon crowds. Within the infinite expanse of space, there are countless beings trapped in cycles of suffering. Practitioner Su successfully breaks through the very spaces where these old demons have entered deep meditative concentration. Through this compassionate intervention, these beings are drawn into the brilliant light of Namo Amituofo and are safely guided to the of Ultimate Bliss.
The old demons are but one group among the countless beings in need of salvation. This work of encompasses all forms of existence, including invisible beings dwelling within air molecules, spirits connected by karmic affinity, and beings residing within stones, near flames, or deep beneath the surface of the earth. All of these beings are granted the opportunity to be saved. The Earth itself is merely one planet within the vast Dharma Realm, and its inhabitants are also the recipients of this great deliverance. This is especially true for regions such as China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, and Japan, which are essential sites for this Chao Du.
The Manifestation of Compassion
Practitioner Su manifests countless billions of incarnations to reach the Earth and the wider Dharma Realm. He guides these infinite beings into the light of Namo Amituofo, ensuring they are delivered to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Through this manifestation, he teaches the fourfold assembly of disciples and all sentient beings that the true value of this human body lies in the opportunity to practise, to undergo purification, and to realise one's true nature.
You must strive to be diligent in your practice, pushing yourself further than you have before. You must seek breakthrough after breakthrough, overcoming the various obstacles and limitations imposed by the physical body. In this process of continuous breakthrough, your faith in the Buddha is the most critical key.
The Vital Role of Faith
If you possess total and unwavering faith in the Buddha, you will receive the full measure of the Buddha's . If your faith is only partial, you will receive only a portion of those blessings. It is not that the Buddha's light is limited or that his blessings fluctuate; rather, the Buddha equally bestows his light upon all earthly creatures, human practitioners, and those who chant his name. The amount of blessing you receive is determined entirely by the depth of your own faith.
When you harbour doubts, you inadvertently block the infusion of the Buddha's light and the power of the Buddha-name. You effectively shut these energies out of your heart, making it impossible to fully receive the compassionate merit and the majestic power of the Buddha's blessing.
The Path of Daily Practice
For those who have established firm faith, the daily practice becomes a powerful vehicle for transformation:
- Prostrations: By bowing to the Buddha, you diligently dissolve your past and reduce your heavy burdens.
- Chanting Namo Amituofo: By focusing on the Buddha-name, you suppress wandering thoughts and stabilise your mind.
- Chao Du: Through the practice of visualisation, you extend compassion to those in need.
- Reciting the Sutras: This practice allows you to cultivate meditative concentration and achieve inner purity.
Through these methods, you can clearly and powerfully break through the states of and enter into higher realms of space. When you work to change your personality traits, such as by refusing to give rise to anger and by overcoming the heaviness of the mind, you will find that you can achieve breakthrough after breakthrough. For the practitioner, these continuous breakthroughs are the essential steps toward the ultimate goals: realising one's true nature, saving oneself and all other beings, achieving rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, and successfully propagating the Buddha's teachings.
