Heart, Vows, and Actions Follow Amitabha, Spreading Throughout Space and the Dharma Realm
Throughout the course of a human life, we pass through many different stages. At each of these junctures, we face unique situations concerning our body, mind, and spirit. Sometimes, we find ourselves flowing naturally with the changes of life, accepting the shifts in our internal and external states. At other times, it is necessary to pause, to stop and reflect deeply on how we should continue our journey forward. Each of these moments brings with it different realisations and insights that shape our understanding of existence.
True practice is not about forcing our will upon the world. Instead, it is about aligning every thought, word, and action with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. When we commit ourselves to this path, every act of purification brings forth new changes and profound realisations. Through this process, we begin to discover natural phenomena that have always been present, yet remained hidden from our view. In truth, these realities have existed since time immemorial, but without the opportunity provided by purification and dedicated practice, we remain blind to them.
Today, through the guidance of the Buddha’s teachings, we are led to a deeper understanding of the world as it truly is. We are beginning to recognise the existence of the spirit world. This realm is not separate from our daily lives; it is intimately connected to our physical bodies and our human experiences. Although this world remains invisible to the physical eyes of most people, it is a source of many of the problems, confusions, and misunderstandings that we encounter in our daily lives.
For those who have attained the natural ability to see beyond the veil, these spiritual realities are clear at a glance. When one can perceive the underlying causes of our struggles, the problems and disturbances that once seemed insurmountable can finally be addressed and resolved. This clarity is a gift of the practice, allowing us to navigate the complexities of existence with wisdom and .
Many of the challenges we face in life, such as the processes of birth, aging, sickness, death, are deeply intertwined with the laws of and cause and effect. These difficulties are often related to the presence of:
Because these beings are present, our body’s natural functions are often interfered with or obstructed. This can lead to significant harm to our cells, manifesting as physical pain or chronic disease. However, once we engage in the process of resolving these conflicts through , inviting these spirits to hear the , and performing spiritual deliverance, the interference is lifted. As the obstacles are removed, the damage to our cells can begin to heal, and may gradually return to its original, healthy state.
While spiritual deliverance provides relief, it is not the final step. If we do not change our personality traits and rectify our habitual tendencies, the same problems will inevitably reappear when the and the causes and effects mature once again. To truly resolve these issues at their root, we must change our personality. By transforming our heart and mind, we remove the very soil in which these karmic seeds grow.
The existence of karmic creditors, attached spirits, and demon crowds is an undeniable fact of the spirit world. Through the Buddha’s teachings, we are now being educated to recognise this truth. In the path, we are supported by both our own efforts and the boundless power of . This combination allows us to alleviate the suffering of aging and illness, and in time, to transcend them entirely. By practising diligently, we can avoid the intense pain that occurs when the elements separate at the time of death, and instead, elevate the quality of our spirit to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
