Teachings from Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju, recorded and transcribed by ’s disciple, Venerable HaiZe.
On the twenty-second of March, 2026, Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju offered these profound words of wisdom to all sentient beings.
How many beings are currently drifting through the cycle of rebirth, feeling lost and without a place to call home? We are like travellers caught in a long, restless night, dreaming of things that are not real, yet feeling the weight of our confusion. In this state of wandering, our hearts are filled with a deep, unspoken longing to see the light of truth. We are searching for a beacon that can guide us out of the darkness of our own making.
If you have cultivated good karmic affinities, you may suddenly receive the guidance you seek. This guidance acts as a compass, pointing you directly toward the radiant light of the Buddha. However, if you are hindered by the manifestation of negative karmic forces, your spirit may find it difficult to perceive this clarity. Instead of finding the path, you might encounter layer upon layer of obstacles, leaving your spirit trapped in the shadows of ignorance and sorrow.
You may ask, how can one truly be saved from this cycle of suffering? The answer lies in the practice of chanting Namo Amituofo. You must engage in the continuous recitation of the Buddha's name, ensuring that the sound of Namo Amituofo never leaves your ears. This is the dual process of self-salvation and Buddha-salvation working in perfect harmony.
When you reach this state of practice, you are aligning yourself with the Realm. You will realise that Amitabha Buddha, whose body encompasses the entire Dharma Realm, is always present, manifesting within your own heart and throughout the entire universe.
At this very moment, Namo Amituofo is truly abiding at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, located in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. It is a place of refuge for all who are lost. You are encouraged to seek out the traces of the Buddha here. In the midst of your confusion, you will find the guidance you need to give your heart a direction, your spirit a home, and your body a place of true rest.
You no longer need to drift, feeling abandoned and without support. By receiving this guidance, you can move toward the light and return to your true destination. Follow the path of Namo Amituofo, and join the salvation team in the noble work of saving yourself while helping others to do the same.
To truly succeed, you must learn to "see through" the illusions of this world and "let go" of your attachments. By doing so, you will rediscover the person you were always meant to be and see your original nature face-to-face. You will no longer wander in this world, lost and without a guide. In this very life, you will finally return to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
