Bearing the Suffering of All Beings at All Times, Thus Inviting the Presence of Amitabha Buddha
Heart, Vows, and Actions Follow Amitabha, Spreading Throughout Space and the Dharma Realm
My dear children, I ask you today: are you truly satisfied with your current life? Do you feel a deep, burning desire to find an exit from the path you are currently walking? Is there a place better than where you are now? If you choose to return to this Five Turbidities and Evil World, you will continue to be caught in the web of human conflict, right and wrong, and the relentless pull of your own . You may live as a layperson, marrying, raising children, and enjoying the comfort of sleeping until you wake naturally.
You will spend your entire life devoted to your family, your work, and your career. You will inevitably experience the sufferings of birth, aging, sickness, and death, as well as the pain of reunions and separations. When you finally enter the six realms of rebirth again, you will realise that you cannot take a single thing with you.
When you transition into a different space, your family members will be separated from you. You will carry nothing with you except the weight of your negative karma and the fruits of your good deeds. Perhaps you will carry the merit of the daily practice of chanting that you performed sporadically during your life.
If you do not achieve rebirth in the of Ultimate Bliss in this lifetime, you will be guided by the weight of your karma into the next cycle of the six realms of rebirth. Consider the possibilities that await those who are not prepared: you may be reborn as an earthly creature, a small insect, or an animal, struggling for survival. You may find yourself in the hells, suffering punishment for the sins of your past lives that have not yet been settled. Your will stand before the King of Hell, providing detailed evidence of every wrong you have committed, leading to unimaginable and heart-wrenching punishment.
Alternatively, you might return to this world. If you understand the laws of karma and cause and effect, you may strive to keep a good heart, do good deeds, be a good person, and speak kind words. However, even if you live a life of wealth and luxury, can you truly remain unaffected by the Greed, Anger, Ignorance, Arrogance, and Doubt, or the temptations of wealth, lust, fame, food, and sleep?
Will you be able to avoid being led by your emotional desires into creating further negative karma? Will you have the opportunity in your next life to be born as a human, to hear the Buddha’s teachings, to study the Pure Land path, and to encounter Namo Amituofo? Will you have the chance to achieve liberation from the cycle of rebirth and return to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss?
Even if you are reborn in the heavens to enjoy temporary , what happens when those blessings are exhausted and the signs of decay appear? Will you then be forced to live in fear, with anger rising in your heart, only to fall into the hells to suffer punishment? Or, will you finally realise that this world is full of suffering, that the cycle of rebirth is full of suffering, and that karma is full of suffering?
You have already experienced countless cycles of birth and death. It is time to stop walking the old, worn-out path of samsara. You must strive to break free from the control of your karma. You must be fiercely diligent, make a firm resolution to change your personality traits, and refuse to be dominated by your past actions any longer. Regardless of how others treat you, you must focus solely on your diligent practice.
Immerse yourself in your daily practice: chanting Namo Amituofo, performing prostrations, and reciting the Sutras for purification. Allow the impurities of your life to be washed away. Let your delusions and messy thoughts settle, and work to suppress or even sever these distractions entirely. There is only one path: chanting Namo Amituofo to seek and return to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
My children, you only have one life in this human body. If you have found the exit, you must learn to let go. You must let go of your physical sensations and . The Five Aggregates—form, feeling, perception, impulse, and —are all illusory. They exist only within the cycle of cause and effect and are driven by karma; once they pass, they are gone. Yet, countless beings remain deluded, sinking into these illusions and suffering the sufferings of birth, aging, sickness, and death without a way to escape.
Open your mind-capacity. Follow the Causal Conditions to exhaust your old karma, and do not create new negative karma. Do not let an unwholesome heart or an unwholesome thought add another layer of sins to your burden. Children, before you have successfully transformed your karma, remember that time is limited and life is impermanent. Do not let your days pass by in emptiness!
Turn your head back now, be fiercely diligent, and seek to recover your true self. Everything will be resolved in a single smile as you find your way back to the calm and ease of your original nature. Namo Amituofo.
