Teachings by Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju:
Years pass in a hurry; infants are now young adults,
Once babbling children, now they are parents themselves.
This life passes in a hurry; the human body is truly precious,
Time passed is hard to reclaim, like water flowing that never turns back.
Walking in this world, what do you carry? Only old age and sickness follow.
When the breath stops, life is gone; nothing can be taken away.
Only the full load of remains, with good and bad karma within.
The pure karma of chanting Amitabha is scattered like sand,
or is it as firm as a copper wall?
Scattered sand eventually leads to being reincarnated, returning life after life.
When can one again get a human body and encounter Amitabha Buddha?
If it is as firm as a copper wall, undisturbed by circumstances, meditative concentration is achieved,
becomes firmer, moving towards wisdom.
People in the world leave home and abandon desires, carrying nothing with them.
Abandoning desires and thoughts is true practice; every thought and intention turns into nothingness,
When you see things, you know them; how to act to succeed.
People are surprised at how one can know; when the water is clear and the bottom is visible, one can know.
For a deep, dark, and murky lake surface, how can one enter purity?
Keep the lake surface still to make it calm; past karma will naturally sink,
Let it sink to the bottom and do not disturb it again; do not shake it and make it murky again.
In a hurry, several years have passed.
Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia, the Buddha-land where Amitabha truly abides,
has already saved countless beings and demons. Now, the human world awaits salvation.
Only by widely promoting Buddhist education can one leave suffering behind and attain happiness,
A new atmosphere returns to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
