Floating and Sinking in the Sea of Karma

Recorded and transcribed by ’s disciple, Venerable HaiZe. 9 August 2026. #### Teachings by Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju: [[BLOCK_0]] Regardless of age, role, or status, the karmic bodies in the six realms of existence—even monastics who have not yet awakened or transformed their —are all part of the sea of karma. [[BLOCK_1]] The sea of karma has no visible boundaries. One moment you surface, reaching out and crying for help, yet you are not saved. The next moment, your hands, head, and eyes are gone; you may have drowned in the sea, or perhaps you have surfaced elsewhere in the sea of karma. [[BLOCK_2]] This spirit does not speak or send messages. In this life, this being has forgotten the scene of the previous life where they raised their hands, crying for help and waiting to be saved. Although the spirit is the same, after reincarnating and drinking Meng Po’s soup, they no longer remember the past. [[BLOCK_3]] Floating and sinking in the sea of karma includes all beings in the ten directions and the vastness of the Realm. Life here, death there; life there, death here. Across different spaces and times, all beings floating and sinking in the sea of karma—including those in the human world and the fourfold assembly—have all been part of it. To encounter Amitabha Buddha in this life is truly the greatest blessing for all spirits. [[BLOCK_4]] There are countless beings floating and sinking in the sea of karma, waiting to be saved. Only by achieving spiritual success and self-liberation, and then re-entering the sea of karma, can one directly help save other beings; this is a matter of great importance. [[BLOCK_5]] All beings floating and sinking in the sea of karma are connected by karmic affinity. They are beings of one body, all possessing the same true self, yet they are drowning. The sea of suffering has no boundaries; may all beings be saved. Do not sink into the sea again, for the suffering of the sea of karma is unbearable. At this time, Namo Amituofo appears at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. If beings can hear this, I hope you will come to Hsiang Kuang. This is the time to be saved, and the time to leave suffering behind. Return to the West quickly, so as not to waste the encounter with Amitabha Buddha. Namo Amituofo
