When you dedicate your time and energy to these tasks, you are not merely performing chores. You are aligning your body, mind, and spirit with the compassionate intent of Namo Amituofo. This alignment is the essence of true practice, transforming mundane work into a profound spiritual offering that benefits all beings.

Each of these components must be prepared in advance to ensure the ceremony proceeds smoothly. From the initial setup to the final cleanup and the resetting of the hall for the next session, every detail must be connected with care. When this harmony is achieved, Namo Amituofo, Practitioner Su, and I can effectively perform the , helping infinite suffering beings and demon crowds to enter the Dharma-Nature Land, the human realm, the heavenly realm, or the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. At such moments, every member of the fourfold assembly is a participant in this sacred work, and your collective merit and are truly immeasurable.
Chanting the name of Namo Amituofo, performing prostrations, and reciting the Sutras are the fundamental daily lessons of Pure Land practice. They are the essential methods for building a strong foundation for your spiritual journey. However, you must ask yourselves: are there areas in your practice that require adjustment or improvement?
Your conduct, your speech, your every thought and intention, and your cultivation of the (Discipline), Concentration and Wisdom, and the Six Paramitas are all vital. Namo Amituofo and I provide guidance through our teachings, and Practitioner Su offers further clarity through his lectures. We are constantly reminding and instructing you on how to refine your path.
To truly follow the Buddha's actions, you must be able to listen deeply, internalise these teachings, and put them into practice immediately. This means you must be willing to change your personality traits and correct your mistakes without hesitation. To follow the Buddha's actions, you must embody four key qualities:
By adhering to these principles, you will see a significant improvement in the growth of your spiritual achievements and the cultivation of your compassionate and wise nature. Furthermore, you must strive to understand the laws of and cause and effect, and gain a deep recognition of the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. This knowledge is your shield, helping you avoid creating negative karma, committing errors, and suffering the consequences.
Regarding the propagation of the Buddha’s teachings and the implementation of Buddhist education, the fourfold assembly shares a common vision. You have all expressed a willingness to contribute your own strength and do your utmost to support this mission. In your practice, I encourage you to self-reflect, make firm vows, and remain diligent. By doing so, you will hasten the day you realise your true nature, achieve Awakening, and successfully guide others toward rebirth in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This is the true meaning of following the Buddha's actions.
