This interview was recorded on January 16, 2026, at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. Lay Practitioner Cai Zhanlin, the husband of Lay Practitioner Chen Miaojuan, sought deliverance through the compassionate guidance of Practitioner Su and the power of the Holy Name. Having successfully attained rebirth in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, he shares his profound testimony regarding his journey from the confusion of the afterlife to the radiant peace of the Pure Land.

Lay Practitioner Cai Zhanlin speaks:

"Namo Amituofo! I have arrived! After experiencing such extraordinary days, I have finally reached the true Pure Land—the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. I am truly overjoyed! While I was in the Western Land of Nature, I spent quite some time observing and contemplating whether I should come to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss sooner. The Western Land of Dharma Nature was already incredibly beautiful to me, but the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is truly something else entirely.

A World of Absolute Equality

What makes it so different? This world is one of true equality and , a place where there are no discriminations whatsoever. Even when I see my deceased family members, or even relatives from my past lives who have arrived here, we all look so similar. Even the women have transformed into dignified men, each one appearing just like a Buddha. We can travel to any Buddha-land we wish to visit. It is so vast, so incredibly vast! The entire Dharma Realm and the universe appear to us as countless beings and lands waiting to be saved. Tell me, how could there possibly be any afflictions in a world like this? It is impossible! That is why I feel so at ease. Although I have been here for less than a day, I have already felt the vastness of this world, and of course, the immense skills of Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su. I am so grateful to Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su; since arriving here, I have been prostrating to the Buddha, tears streaming down my face.

The Transformation of Human Love into Dharma Affinity

My wife, Miaojuan, I am so grateful that she encountered the Buddha. The true Buddha is right here at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia, and she knows it! She is truly blessed; this is something I never could have imagined. Of course, I am also deeply grateful that after death, I was able to see her in such a way. Seeing our connection transform into a Dharma affinity is the most magnificent thing of all. Our relationship has evolved into such a continuation; the narrow, worldly love has vanished, replaced by the affinity of the supramundane Dharma. This is what truly exists in a world of compassion and equality. Everyone has so many causal conditions throughout their many lives, and I have seen my own throughout my many lives as well. That is why I am even more grateful to have encountered the Buddha in this lifetime, allowing me to transform the causal conditions of my past lives into a Dharma affinity, leading to a perfect conclusion.

The Darkness of the Afterlife

Speaking of this, I must talk about the days I spent from the moment I died until now. Oh, it was truly miserable! Those were days without a glimpse of the sun. I imagine most people live through such days after they die! I had absolutely no direction; my entire spirit was in a state of confusion. I am just one of the lucky ones. If it were not for the fact that Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su are truly present at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, I would be just like most people—this life would have ended, and it would truly be over. Who knows how long I would have had to wait to be reborn as a human again!

A Final Plea to the Living

Therefore, I sincerely urge my family and my wife: life is very short, and all the worldly pursuits are just illusions! Recognizing your true self—a self without burdens, only —is truly the most important thing. Especially for those who are still young, do not miss the Buddha. Please, do not! Samsara is not a game; it is not a joke. It is a matter with profound and far-reaching consequences! Everyone must firmly grasp the Holy Name 'Namo Amituofo' to have any hope of rebirth. Being able to come to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre will be a wonderful thing! I hope everyone truly believes in the Buddha and chants the Buddha's name. Your life will be vastly different!"

"Namo Amituofo."
