This is a record of an interview with Lay Practitioner Qin Fusheng, the husband of Lay Practitioner Chen Lianrong. Having sought deliverance through the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre, he now resides in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This testimony, recorded by the chief writer, Shi Fajing, on November 29, 2024, captures his profound reflection on his life, the weight of his , and his immense gratitude for the of Practitioner Su.

Lay Practitioner Qin Fusheng speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. I am Qin Fusheng. I wept for such a long time; even on the day I arrived in the Western Land, I was still weeping. I have so many regrets—so many things I wish I could have said, but it was all too late. Thankfully, I have this opportunity now to speak, and I am filled with such profound gratitude.

I do not know what kind of I must have accumulated to be given the chance to arrive here in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This place is truly magnificent. It is a world of difference compared to the agonising days I spent suffering in the hells. If Practitioner Su had not rescued me, I truly do not know how much longer I would have had to endure such torment."

A Life Controlled by Invisible Forces

"In this life, although I was not a bad person by nature, I had a difficult personality, a volatile temper, and many negative habits. I never wanted to be that way, but I simply could not control myself. It was only when Practitioner Su rescued me and brought me to the Western Land of Nature that I finally saw the truth: my body was not truly my own to use. It was completely filled with so many spirits, all attaching themselves to me.

This was also related to my work. Everywhere I went, countless sentient beings would gather. As soon as I arrived, many of them would rush into my body. With so many spirits causing interference, it was impossible for me to feel well. I did not know what spiritual attachment was at the time; I only knew that my heart felt incredibly restless and agitated. I wanted to be angry every single day, even when there was no reason to be. I could find a reason to explode over nothing."

The Weight of Karma and Regret

"Of course, my many bad habits were also deeply connected to these spirits. I am not trying to shift all the blame onto them, though. I was truly a living puppet, manipulated by external forces. But it was also my own karma and my own flawed character that contributed to the situation. I am deeply sorry to my wife and children. I hurt them, yet they still chose to be tolerant and compassionate toward me. Even though there were times of unhappiness, they still treated me as part of the family, enduring my behaviour. And now, they have even saved me. I am filled with such deep regret and sorrow for the pain I caused them.

I truly hope that my family can follow the Buddha closely. I hope they can understand these truths while they are still alive, and that they must grasp the opportunity to let the Buddha save themselves, their loved ones, and even more sentient beings.

I kneel before the Buddha in repentance. This disciple truly had heavy sins. I am so grateful that the Buddha did not hold my past against me and allowed me to return to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. Gratitude, gratitude, gratitude.

Namo Amituofo. Qin Fusheng bows in reverence."
