Amitabha Buddha's discourse:
I am one among the beings,
This 'I' is a false self, a self of Causal Conditions that arises and ceases,
Beings suffer in reincarnation without end, and I too have endured all suffering within reincarnation.
I am indeed one among the beings,
If beings get a human body, they spend a lifetime amidst birth, aging, sickness, and death,
And in my countless lifetimes,
I have passed through countless births and deaths,
With countless parents, teachers, family members, and from past lives,
All of whom are beings connected by karmic affinity with me.
The sentient beings with karmic affinity I encounter in this life,
Are also many of the parents, teachers, family members, and karmic creditors from my past lives,
Who have now also obtained a human body, meeting with me at the beginning of this connection and separating when the conditions fade away.
Practice and purification involve constant purification and constant Goodness,
Realising the principle that the beings and I are one.
And in actual verification and practice, when one enters ,
It is to merge oneself with the vastness of the Realm, which is the time of ,
Together with Su Fo's countless billions of manifestations,
We perform for boundless beings throughout the Dharma Realm, subdue countless demons, and lead them into the Western Land of Dharma Nature.
The beings and I share the same true self,
Those who have not yet realised their true nature are called beings,
Those who have realised their true nature are called Bodhisattvas,
And once confusion, afflictions, and habits are completely eliminated, the Buddha's path is attained.
Those beings of the Western Land who enter the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss,
Can, amidst Immeasurable Life and Immeasurable Light,
Progress step by step in their practice, until they enter the Land of Eternally Quiescent Light and attain the Buddha's path.
