Willingness

Namo Amituofo’s discourse:

Practitioners know that spiritual life is neither born nor destroyed. Since beginningless time, this spirit has endured vicissitudes, weathered storms, and been transformed countless times.
It has suffered repeatedly within the six realms of rebirth,
where fleeting happiness is often followed by long-lasting pain.
In this lifetime, this spirit has finally obtained a human body.
The human body is so precious because it can help this spirit move away from suffering,
and escape the six realms of rebirth.

"Willingness" is a sincere intention that arises from the heart.
If it is sincere and seeks no reward, this vow is pure and good.
If it is for the sake of the masses and all sentient beings, its energy of pure goodness
will naturally receive the protection of benevolent deities or the Dharma-protecting dragons and devas, leading to good results.

If this "willingness" is for selfish reasons, or to satisfy one's own desires or feelings,

then this energy of selfishness and ego will naturally cause benevolent deities or the Dharma-protecting dragons and devas to stay away,

making one susceptible to the intrusion or spiritual attachment of sentient beings or demon crowds, resulting in unwholesome or harmful outcomes.
This is the difference in the essence of vows and actions, which attracts different results;

this is also the operation of the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way.

If the Body-Mind-Spirit can be mastered by the heart,

and the cells of the body and the spirits are willing to follow the heart, the spirit can conform to the intentions of the heart and body.

Then the human Body-Mind-Spirit will maintain a state of coordination and balance,

achieving a full and focused spirit, less susceptible to external interference, and remaining in a state of stability and peace.

Even if one is attacked by demon crowds due to the great vows and actions of practice,
and even if the body bears the suffering of sentient beings, the heart and spirit remain undisturbed,

still maintaining and preserving the initial vow to save sentient beings and the heart that does not retreat.

Because of this firm and good vow and action, one not only receives the praise and protection of the Dharma-protecting dragons and devas,
but can also transform the demon crowds, causing them to retreat and abandon their interference,

thereby fulfilling the great vow to save sentient beings.

This is the manifestation of virtue and the vow-heart, often appearing in those who have deep skills in practice and have realised their true nature.

It is the manifestation of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the world.

In Australia, at the place where Namo Amituofo resides—the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia,
at this time, Namo Amituofo, Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju, and Practitioner Su,

are together protecting the fourfold assembly and sentient beings with karmic affinity.

Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are willing to act as the Dharma boat, leading the masses on the boat—those who believe in the Buddha, those who draw near to hear the Dharma, and those who come to seek the Dharma and practise—to advance together towards the Western Pure Land,

At this time, if the masses on the Dharma boat are willing to entrust their Body-Mind-Spirit to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas,
this Dharma boat will lead everyone to reach the destination and enter the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
