Tsai Li-hua:

I am Tsai Li-hua. For as long as I can remember, I have been very satisfied with my life, and my heart has always been filled with contentment and gratitude.

I feel it was incredibly valuable to have dedicated my life to dance. I love the art of dance; expressing the concepts, values, or messages I wish to convey to the world through my body is something I find deeply meaningful and aesthetically beautiful. I am very grateful for my family's support throughout my life, which allowed me to focus on my dance career with peace of mind. Although in the later stages of my life, health issues made dancing increasingly difficult—to the point where I eventually had to stop—I still feel that my life was happy because I was able to do what I loved.

Illness is something that everyone must face. Disease represents a change in , and one must endure the resulting suffering. That people get sick has always been my understanding; after all, as long as one is human, one cannot avoid the day of ageing, sickness, and death. This is natural and normal.

However, I now know that if one can learn from Namo Amituofo, there is a chance to avoid illness, and even to avoid ageing. This came as a great surprise to me. Although I only learned this after my rebirth, I feel it is not too late. After all, there are still many people in the world troubled by illness just as I was, and I believe they will be in great need of the answer I have found.

I am very grateful for the opportunity today to be interviewed by the monastics of the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre, allowing me to pass on this message. I want to tell the people of the world that now, at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia, there is truly a method to fundamentally heal illness and prevent it from occurring. Through this method, one can truly achieve a state of not getting sick, and even keep the body from ageing entirely.

The specific practice is to keep the heart in a state of purity and goodness, ensuring that one's thoughts and actions are in sync with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, while also reciting the Holy Name "Namo Amituofo." By doing so, one has the opportunity to receive the true benefits of the Buddha’s teachings: to be free from ageing and illness.

Of course, in many instances, one still needs the guidance of a Teacher. After all, what exactly constitutes purity and goodness? How can one align one's heart with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way? These are very unfamiliar concepts to most people, and this is precisely what the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre aims to teach the world—what the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way truly are.

After I passed away, I entered a space. Inside, I continued to do what I had loved my whole life: dancing.

I was actually aware that the spirit continues to exist after death. Because I had once performed and created dance works related to Buddhist concepts, I had done some research into what the Buddha’s teachings were all about.

I did believe in the concept of reincarnation. People know that because reincarnation exists, they should regulate their behaviour and restrain their hearts. If one can be a kind person while alive, one might go to the heavenly realms after death; if one is a bad person, one might enter the hells.

I believed in this concept, and I feel it is helpful in guiding people's words and deeds toward kindness and friendliness. However, no one had ever told me that after death, a soul could enter a so-called "space." This was a completely unfamiliar concept to me.

After death, I kept dancing in this dance space. Inside, there were still people, things, and even scenes I was familiar with, and I was dancing the dances I loved. In a way, I had even forgotten that I had already passed away.

Until recently, a warm and powerful voice appeared in the dance space where I was—it was the voice of Practitioner Su from the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. Practitioner Su, with great , rescued my soul from that space and placed me in the Western Land of Nature at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre.

One of the reasons I loved dancing in the past was that when I danced, I felt very free and at ease. It was as if, while dancing, I forgot all the afflictions and sorrows of the world, and nothing could bind me. As the Buddha-light continuously shone upon my soul, purifying it, I felt my heart becoming more peaceful and joyful day by day. I felt a sense of freedom I had never experienced before. That was the naturally occurring sense of purity that should have been there, as the pollution within my soul was gradually dissolved by the Buddha-light.

In the Western Land of Dharma Nature, I can easily see everything happening in the world. I see that people are generally very busy, and whether their lives are leisurely or hectic, one can see the weathering of time on everyone's faces—that is the result of constantly accumulating external spiritual attachments. I never knew that there were so many lonely wandering spirits in the world, right by our sides. As soon as one's own personality manifests, it allows lonely wandering spirits with similar personalities to enter the human body.

I have heard that spirits need to attach themselves to people to absorb their energy in order to survive. As more and more spirits enter a person's body, it causes that person to age faster and their energy to become increasingly low.

Previously, my understanding of the Buddha’s teachings was mostly limited to the so-called Zen style; I was very interested in what is called "Life Zen." However, I now know that the true Buddha’s teachings help people avoid being attached to, and prevent external spirits from invading their bodies. This must be worked on from the heart; therefore, the Buddha’s teachings are indeed the Dharma of the heart.

Now, listening to Practitioner Su’s Dharma talks, I know that the name "Namo Amituofo" can help our hearts remain in a kind, beautiful, and simple state. I am now reciting this Buddha-name very earnestly, because I have heard that this name contains the entire power of .

Amitabha Buddha is truly great and very compassionate. The Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre has set up three Amitabha Buddha billboards in Taiwan. These three billboards emit a tremendous golden light and feature the image of the Buddha, the portrait of Amitabha Buddha, and the Holy Name "Namo Amituofo."

Many, many lonely wandering spirits and suffering souls in Taiwan have been saved because they were illuminated by the Buddha-light; many of them have now come to the Western Land of Dharma Nature and have been reborn.

In the Land of Dharma Nature, I see that Practitioner Su is truly remarkable, capable of using countless manifestations to go to various places around the world to perform , including Taiwan.

As Practitioner Su’s countless manifestations shine brightly with Amitabha Buddha’s light, many sentient beings have entered the light because they were illuminated by the Buddha-light, and they have all been saved. Moreover, I have seen many, many souls like me who were trapped in spaces—such as earth spaces, flower and grass spaces, tree spaces, cloud spaces, furniture spaces, wall spaces, car spaces, and souls in all kinds of other spaces. They were originally unable to leave the spaces they were in, but because Practitioner Su’s Chao Du opened these spaces, they finally had the opportunity to escape.

I observed that when Practitioner Su opened these spaces, he used this very name, "Namo Amituofo," which made me realise even more how magnificent this Buddha-name is. After all, it is a treasure that can be used to save people.

Seeing Practitioner Su’s soul so free, performing Chao Du around the world, able to fly into the universe, flying freely through space, travelling between countries, and being able to change size at will—it is truly wonderful! This is far more powerful than the dancing I loved so much in the past.

I yearn to be as free as Practitioner Su, so now I listen very earnestly to every sutra that Practitioner Su teaches, hoping that I can attain Buddhahood just like him, so that my soul will no longer have any constraints—which is what it means to "be in control."

I want to say to my son: In this life, you and I both loved dance. However, no matter how much one delves into dance, it is something that is only useful while one has this body, and it is always limited to the short few decades of life in the body.

However, the life of the spirit is infinitely long. I hope you can come to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre to take a look and listen to the sutras taught by Practitioner Su. You will discover that there are more important things worth striving for: learning the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, and making a vow to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.

Now, I am in the Western Land of Dharma Nature at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, living very peacefully, waiting for you to come and talk to me.

Please help convey the above message to my son.

Tsai Li-hua
