Interview with Deng Xiaoping (Former Chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Communist Party of China) currently in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss
, I am Deng Xiaoping. Today, I once again accept the invitation from the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia, hearing Practitioner Su call out the names of us leaders who once had such stirring stories on the land of China.
We were among the earliest to struggle, and we are the leaders who left the deepest impression in people's hearts. Of course, precisely because of this, the we created is immeasurable and boundless.
Because we possessed immense influence, every decision we made affected everyone, and even every piece of land across the nation. Our policies, to a greater or lesser extent, impacted all lives, which led us to create immeasurable and boundless karma. A single deviation in thought caused a deviation in every step.
Just like me, in my life as Deng Xiaoping, I did not originally intend to create such immense negative karma. However, one selfish thought after another accumulated, eventually causing my heart to never return to the Right Way. This greed, always wanting more and even more, whether for my own power and status, or the hope for the country's wealth and strength.
If the desire for the country to be strong is not guided by the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, all decisions made may sometimes have the opposite effect or leave behind various sequelae. At that time, that was indeed the case for me.
After the country experienced very painful events—especially the Cultural Revolution, and further back, the Great Famine, the Great Leap Forward, and other events—the country moved step by step into a state of extreme scarcity, both materially and spiritually, and the people were constantly in deep water and scorching fire.
Everyone was in such a state of trepidation, confused about where to go, when I, Deng Xiaoping, appeared. Everyone sought me out and made me the top leader of the country. Because my methods at the time were particularly strong, I was able to implement policies that allowed for the possibility of a major turnaround for the people and the country in a short time. Perhaps that was it; what the country needed most at that time was economic recovery and the continuous development of science and technology. Therefore, when I took office as the top leader, I faced my surroundings with the most pragmatic attitude to clean up the mess before me.
At that time, China had been without Buddhist education for a very long time. Everyone lacked very important spiritual sustenance. Not to mention Buddhist education, even the traditional education left by our ancestors, Confucian and Mencian thoughts, etc., were destroyed and almost disappeared during this period—especially during the Cultural Revolution—by generation after generation of people.
This is a great pain in people's hearts, the pain of the people of the motherland, and a very deep scar of the nation. It can be seen that the people at that time were living in anxiety and fear, unable to walk out of it. Everyone fought tooth and nail for a mouthful of rice and food for their family, just to save their own lives, to save the lives of their family members, to be able to live with dignity, and to generously call themselves Chinese.
These seemingly minimal needs were unattainable at the time. Only after people were well-fed could they improve their various abilities, and even move towards true peaceful and stable development; only later could they think about the spiritual level.
Not to mention the needs of the spiritual level at that time, when people were not well-fed, some bad character traits in human nature would be revealed. Because Buddhist education had been neglected for too long, and the excellent education left by our ancestors had been suppressed to the point of disappearing, it slowly led to the result of the scattered hearts of the people at that time.
I have now spent some time in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, and I feel guilty about everything that happened. I know that all this was caused by the collective karma of our generation after generation of leaders and everyone. Especially us leaders, because of the thought reform we received step by step, everyone had stubborn attachments and could not maintain a pure, kind heart that thought entirely for the people of the motherland during the turmoil of the country. Such a heart is very precious, but we were very lacking at that time.
Therefore, step by step, everyone committed mistakes of varying degrees. I know my sins are very deep, and the atmosphere and direction I led were completely contrary to the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way.
At this very moment, Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su called my name, Deng Xiaoping, and let me speak to everyone again. I think I must state the most truthful side to everyone, and of course, I must also tell everyone about the vision for the country's future.
Does everyone remember that a few months ago, Practitioner Su also invited me to make a statement to everyone? To tell everyone about my past experiences, and to reveal all my repentance to everyone truthfully.
Today, I want to tell everyone that although everything in the past was full of scars, at this very moment, Namo Amituofo has come to the world to bring everyone the best Buddhist education. We should take big steps forward and not worry about the various things of the past anymore.
Our country experienced that hundred years of external and internal troubles, causing so many sequelae, and even during my tenure, it was the same. Although the economy was booming, greed in the heart grew rapidly while longing for wealth. And within greed, many selfish thoughts and desires grew, making everyone more selfish and more inclined to protect themselves. In order to guard this hard-won wealth, in order to guard this hard-won good life, it can be said that everyone spent these decades fighting openly and secretly. Of course, this does not mean that everyone is like this, but the general social atmosphere indeed does not conform to the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way.
It can be seen that our country's trajectory is different from other countries. Because it developed too fast, the sequelae brought about also increased rapidly. Of course, we should know how to let go of all this now.
The motherland has come to this day, especially in the ten-plus years under the leadership of President Xi, and has gradually entered a stable period. The country's development has entered a stage where it can truly stand on equal footing with other powerful nations, and in every field, it is not lagging behind. So at this time, we should rethink our positioning.
As a major power, should we continue to walk the same path as before? Carrying the same thinking as before, having our own stubborn attachments, and calculating for the few cents in our own pockets?
Of course not! We should truly step out, stand in the world with the demeanor of a nation, and lead the world to a different peak.
But in this, we must take Buddhist education as the foundation. If we lose the Buddhist education based on the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, we are very likely to deviate in our step-by-step walk because we have not been corrected in time.
Especially when the demon crowds are very rampant, the probability of us being used by the demon crowds is very high! The "us" here refers to leaders, and the people are no exception. The demon crowds are actually pervasive; the hearts of the demon crowds are attached to us based on our hearts, which is the truth. Do you remember a few months ago, the Venerables of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia interviewed us leaders and found out about the existence of demon crowds in our bodies? All of this is the truth.
Every one of us, especially those in high positions and with great power, is very easy to have immeasurable and boundless demon crowds attached to us because of our own selfishness and deviated thoughts, causing us to do things that we cannot control and that cause major harm to the people of the motherland. I was no exception at that time; I cooperated with the demon crowds, and the demon crowds also aggravated the evil thoughts in my heart, and that is how I spent my long life.
Perhaps my political achievements were praised by some, but those achievements could only satisfy the needs of an era. While the motherland was developing rapidly economically, it created more irreversible sequelae, and all of this is the karma I must bear.
Today, Practitioner Su has invited us again, especially after Practitioner Su guided more than three hundred famous people in modern Chinese history to the Western Land of Nature, everyone has great . In one interview manuscript after another, one can see the sincere outpouring of everyone, and the sincere repentance, and the direct heart revealed is so earnest. Under the purification of the Buddha-light in the Western Land of Dharma Nature, after listening to Practitioner Su's lectures, everyone began to understand many truths that they had never understood before.
This is the same as when I came to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss at that time. I once suffered the pain of hell, and after being guided up by Practitioner Su, I was still arrogant and overbearing. Practitioner Su let me return to hell to suffer again, and then guided me up again. The lesson Practitioner Su gave me was really too good; this is Practitioner Su sincerely wanting to help me, such a compassionate heart, really wanting me to have an , to know where I was wrong.
Now, in the ten years I have been in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, I have been living a humble and modest life, not daring to have even the slightest bit of arrogance, honestly learning from Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su, and also learning from all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
And as just mentioned, the matter of Practitioner Su guiding more than three hundred Chinese celebrities to the Western Land of Dharma Nature, they are now also experiencing the same state of repentance as I did at that time, very much wanting to make up for everything in the past, but unable to turn back.
Practitioner Su also raised a question, asking me to tell all the people in China: Why is it that that everyone has worked so hard to manage for a lifetime, in the end, the spirit within this body not only cannot be elevated and sublimated, but instead has to fall into hell to suffer the bitter retribution, why is this?
All of this still stems from one's own heart. If this heart is broken and does bad things, and thinks only of oneself, then how can the suffering of hell be avoided?
Taking myself as a leader of a country at that time, I actually wanted to do things for the country and the people in my life, but my arrogant and self-important temperament made me used to prioritizing my own opinions, unable to achieve inclusiveness.
At the same time, in that environment, what I kept in mind was to conduct everything with profit as the orientation. This is true for personal interests, and it is also true for national interests.
I believe that in the dead end at that time, only by making the country truly rich and strong could we guarantee the future peaceful and stable direction of the country. And this wealth and strength is actually entirely based on money first and power first. In order to let the country develop rapidly and let a part of the people get rich quickly, I completely ignored the direction of the human heart, guided by the interests of the country—especially the results presented by charts and various data.
At that time, people's hearts were extremely uneasy and scattered, unable to obtain true stability and peace. However, after I took office, it set off a huge change in people's lives again. This turnaround did not let people continue to live in deep water and scorching fire or material scarcity, but promoted reform in a completely different way. During this period, people first experienced the process of turning from poverty to wealth, but they also fell into another wave of drastic changes, and from this derived many complex mentalities.
Some people, due to the rapid accumulation of wealth, led to a strong heart of arrogance and ego-attachment, completely regarding money as supreme, and ignoring the goodness of human nature; in terms of Buddhist teachings, this is contrary to the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. Some people, when they cannot get it, produce great greed and unfair psychology; or some people, in this turbulent situation, are struggling to pursue all the guidelines formulated by the country and the party, wanting to grasp the opportunity of turnaround according to all this, but are unable to get it. The suffering of every piece is actually written on people's faces.
After the Cultural Revolution, people's hearts were actually in a state of great anxiety and lack of trust. Because the struggle at that time had already made everyone have estrangement even from their own family members, not to mention the huge and clearly visible cracks and gaps in society, that was a tragedy of an era. Everyone learned strong self-protection, and no matter how close people were, many times they could not face each other frankly.
Therefore, before this factor in the general environment at that time could be truly eased, I began to implement the next wave of economic opening, letting a part of the people get rich first, and then formed a policy that took money and development as the orientation for everything. After the Cultural Revolution and the struggle, people could not find a direction all of a sudden, and when people's psychology was extremely empty and had cravings, I did not use education and psychological counseling to soothe the pain in everyone's hearts, but used policies oriented by money and desire to fill the pain and lack of people at that time, which buried the root cause of people being in a state of anxiety and selfishness for a long time to come.
Even the most basic humanistic education, I was unable to truly provide to everyone, let alone education on the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, which are so precious in the Buddha’s teachings; that was even further out of the question. At that time, because I bore such immense negative karma, I was suffering the tortures of the Uninterrupted Hell. If not for the great of Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su, who exert such immense power to save the world in the human realm, I think it would have been difficult for our group of leaders to escape. I might have had to suffer in hell for thousands or tens of thousands of years, and I do not know if there would ever have been a day of release.
All of this was also caused by my own position, character, and the policies I formulated; the impact was truly immense. At that time, China had a population of over one billion, and every one of our policies affected such a vast range of people, and no matter which aspect of their body, mind, or spirit, they were all profoundly affected.
In the end, it was only natural that I went to the Uninterrupted Hell to suffer retribution. However, because of my own arrogance and intense character at the time, even after being guided up by Practitioner Su, I still held a sense of disdain. Haha, thinking about it now, it is truly ridiculous! At that time, I was completely unable to control myself; it was the same when I was in the world. I was completely controlled by demon crowds, which is why I said many things I should not have said and did many things I should not have done, leading to the bitter fruit of falling into hell later. Of course, this is not to blame the demon crowds; my own character was originally like this. I grew up with selfish thoughts, which naturally attracted so many demon crowds to collude with me in doing these things.
People might be very curious: as someone who did many inappropriate things and went to hell to suffer the bitter fruit, that is a natural outcome. My character was strong, selfish, subjective, and arrogant, which led me to enter hell to suffer retribution.
However, looking around, among the more than three hundred Chinese people in modern times who have been guided by Practitioner Su to the Western Land of Dharma-Nature Land, many actually had much better characters than I did. Or rather, they truly and simply dedicated their lives to the country and the people, without too much selfishness, and were even able to disregard family, fame, wealth, and status. For example, we have many scientists in China who hid their names and worked hard for their entire lives for the country, giving up even fame, identity, and status. So why did they still have to go to hell? How can this be explained?
Of course, there are many subtle aspects to this. Many people dedicated their entire lives to the country and the people, even hiding their names for a lifetime, and achieved many technological results for the country, allowing the country to overcome crises at the time, to shine on the world stage, and to allow the people of the motherland to live with confidence and security. I have thought more than once about these scientists who worked so hard their whole lives: why did so many of them end up suffering in hell?
Let me tell you honestly: the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way state very clearly that there is a very clear and distinct difference between acting for oneself and acting for others, or for a country, or for the masses. Especially when one has a mind of discrimination while also possessing an intense character, then everything becomes difficult to speak of.
When everyone was working for the country with trepidation, it was inevitable that there would be strong feelings of discrimination and attachment. Especially since so many people at that time had experienced the painful eight-year War of Resistance Against Japan, they held strong feelings of resentment regarding the wounds of the motherland and the aggression of foreign enemies. The discrimination between our country and other countries also caused an imbalance in everyone's psychology.
The people involved in this, while hoping to work for the country and the people, hoped that the motherland would be strong, and also hoped that by comparing it with other countries, it would result in 'I am strong and you are weak, I am good and you are bad.' They hoped that by becoming strong, they could protect themselves and also provide the strongest counterattack when violated. These mindsets are essentially wrong in their nature.
Because everyone was struggling to maintain this body, and with this body, people were also struggling to win face for the country. In this, there was the existence of 'strength,' the existence of 'contention,' and the desire to be stronger and better than others. Although this intense desire was accompanied by patriotism and love for the people, at the same time, because this heart gave rise to such great discrimination and feelings, as well as the existence of one's own various characters, it led to the fact that many people who were considered great figures in the hearts of others still could not avoid the suffering of hell.
The 'view of oneness' and the 'mind of equality' spoken of in the Buddha’s teachings are the true Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. If one deviates from this mind of equality, no matter where one goes, one will always want to distinguish between 'I am good' and 'you are bad.' Such a heart always has many polluting elements.
This is also why, when everyone reaches the end of their life, whether they are very old or leave the human world at a young age, they always leave with a body full of illness. This is because their have long since awakened within their bodies, awakened along with their hearts of resentment, dissatisfaction, and intensity. Now, they are seeking retribution within people's bodies, leading to the suffering of birth, aging, sickness, death, and leading to the fact that everyone still cannot avoid the suffering of hell after death.
In terms of the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, the Buddha’s teachings always emphasize that everyone should have a mind of following causal conditions, peace, and compassion. And according to the Six Perfections in the Buddha’s teachings: 'Generosity, Discipline, Patience, Diligent practice, Meditation, and Wisdom,' these six very important elements are actually also a part of the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way.
Looking around, there are not many people who can achieve this. If people in the world, while they have a human body, regardless of what kind of career they are engaged in or what field they are developing in, even if they have not established major achievements, can maintain a peaceful heart, put themselves in others' shoes, and have no excessive discrimination or attachment, then they often will not create too heavy karma.
Looking again at the famous Chinese people mentioned above, after they left the human world, many of them were indeed able to avoid the suffering of hell. Although many suffered in space, it was not as painful as the suffering of hell. In space, because of some attachments and preferences they had during their lives, they were trapped in the time and space they were familiar with, doing familiar things. Because there was no strong discrimination or attachment in their hearts, they were able to avoid the bitter retribution of hell.
Conversely, some people who made outstanding contributions to the country, and even sacrificed their lives for the country, fell into the suffering of hell. The reason is still as mentioned just now: because while they were working for the country and the people, they had varying degrees of pollution and had an intense desire to 'win a breath.' Whether it was for themselves or for the people of the motherland, this 'breath' is already a violation of the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. After such a comparison, everyone should be able to see clearly; there is no need to state it explicitly.
The comparison made above actually explains that this heart has a great connection with the karmic creditors and demon crowds within the body. Even if one's heart is trying to do good deeds, if the character within is too intense, it is very easy to awaken the countless karmic creditors within one's body to seek retribution from one's body. These beings have followed one through many lives, suffering and enduring for one's past character. Now that they have awakened, they will naturally seek retribution to varying degrees according to each person's mental note.
All of this explains that the people commented on by Practitioner Su today seem to have great merit and no faults toward the country, toward the people of the motherland, and toward everyone, and they did not do anything heinous. But while they were acting, this heart was accompanied by a mind of discrimination of 'you are wrong and I am right.' They hoped that all the careers they managed could make the country rich and strong, and they also hoped to compare it with other countries, or hoped that their country could stand out.
Such a heart, in essence, is very easy to awaken the karmic creditors who were harmed in the past due to one's intense personality and competitive heart. These beings have awakened and will naturally seek retribution from people, or complain to the King of Hell, which creates the bitter fruit of people falling into hell.
Furthermore, among these more than three hundred famous Chinese people who have left the human world, besides the majority who went to hell to suffer, there are some who are suffering in space, and there is also a very small number, about six or seven famous Chinese people, who went to the first heaven of the heavenly realm after death. This is already a very rare and precious thing! To have such cultivation in this Five Turbidities and Evil World proves that when they were in the world, they not only worked diligently for the people of the motherland, but they truly regarded themselves very lightly. Besides this, their characters were also very peaceful and stable, without any intense heart. Therefore, it can be seen that they walked in the world with this free and easy heart of following causal conditions, worked for the people, lived a happy life, and could also obtain a perfect ending.
Here, I might be able to give an example. I also knew this great man back then, Mr. Yuan Longping. He was a rice expert who spent his whole life hoping that the people of the motherland could have enough to eat. He spent his whole life with his feet soaked in rice paddies, just to find better rice seeds and research high-yield hybrid rice, allowing people to grow better quality and higher yield food on limited land and resources. This allowed the people of the motherland at that time, under the situation of a population explosion, to have food to eat and not have to live a life of hunger.
His heart was actually very pure, without too much thought for himself, and at every moment, it was for the people to have enough to eat. Besides this, his contribution not only benefited the Chinese people, allowing the Chinese people to have enough to eat, but he also spread this hybrid rice technology to other countries. Especially in the African region, this technology also blossomed and bore fruit locally. Many countries have had a significant increase in food production because of this technology, allowing the people at that time, and even today, to live a life with enough to eat. These experts who were sent to Africa to carry out hybrid rice cultivation were also talented people cultivated by Mr. Yuan himself.
Under such circumstances, his heart was so pure and good, possessing accumulated , and there was no intense character in this heart; he could be called a peaceful and kind person. Therefore, after living to the advanced age of over ninety, he was able to go to the first heaven of the heavenly realm to enjoy blessings. Everyone should be able to have some realization about the laws of karma in all of this!
Things within the laws of karma are so clear: is this heart an intense and attached heart, or a stable and peaceful heart? Is it a heart for oneself, or a heart for others? These various different hearts will have different results and will lead one's soul to different spaces to suffer retribution after the body decays and leaves the human world. Where the soul goes is all guided by this mental note.
Space is so complex; in terms of the Buddha’s teachings, it can be said that everyone 'is born alone and dies alone, goes alone and comes alone.' Because whether they were relatives when they were in the world, or two people with other relationships, the degree of purity or pollution in each person's mental note is different, and the degree of peace or intensity is also different, so the retribution they attract is naturally not the same. Therefore, the difference between 'I' and '' in the Buddha’s teachings is truly very great.
People who have an 'I' often, no matter what they experience or do, always carry an intense and polluted heart, which is one of the reasons for attracting the retribution of hell. And some people, when doing things, although they cannot reach a state of no-mind, can regard themselves very lightly and thinly, and this can also avoid the fruit of hell.
Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su are so compassionate to open all of this for us to see, which is to teach us to be in sync with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, to change ourselves from the 'heart,' to adjust this heart, to make it a pure heart, a heart without pollution, and to let it return to a peaceful heart, a no-self heart, no matter what kind of external interference it experiences. Such a heart can lead everyone to a truly good destination.
In terms of the Buddha’s teachings, the beings of the Western Land in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss are in a state of no-mind and no-thought, just like Practitioner Su, who has attained Buddhahood in the human realm today. The reason Practitioner Su can attain Buddhahood is that Practitioner Su has completely let go of all hearts. No matter how the external environment changes, this heart no longer plays any role; it is a heart that is completely in a state of no-mind. Only by keeping all beings in the heart, following closely in the footsteps of Namo Amituofo, walking step by step, with only all beings in the heart and no 'self'.
After such continuous purification of the heart, Practitioner Su can attain Buddhahood in this life, and also longs to pass this skill to the next generation of successors, so that everyone can learn the skill of and continue to pass it on in the human realm. Then, human beings will have a chance to be saved, and we Chinese people will have a chance to have a truly long-term, stable, and peaceful path to walk.
The Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way are so subtle, yet they are also so real. As long as everyone truly follows them, they will not be disturbed by karmic creditors or demon crowds, and they will be able to walk on the path of practice more stably and steadily.
Looking at the development of Chinese history over more than five thousand years, and even the life trajectories of all modern celebrities, it should be crystal clear to everyone: the law of cause and effect is precise and never fails. In such a vast country as China, having experienced so many ups and downs, the people nurtured within it are not all the same. Some go to the heavenly realms to enjoy blessings, while others go to hell to suffer retribution. With so many clear instances of cause and effect presented before our eyes, we should be even more determined to abide by the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way; this is the direction everyone should follow in this life.
Speaking of this, we cannot help but reflect: how can Buddhist education truly flourish in China?
Buddhist education has been dormant in China for a very long time; it has been damaged, almost to the point of extinction, or reduced to mere formality without truly entering people's hearts.
This is under the state's centralized policies, with the hope of bringing all institutions related to ideology, religion, and faith under state control. However, the state did not truly value the selection of talent in this field, nor did anyone know what true talent in Buddhist education looked like. Therefore, everyone was simply following a superficial way of learning Buddhist education, but in reality, they were not moving in the direction of abiding by the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way.
Looking around, among China's famous ancient temples, including the Four Great Mountains or the eight lesser famous mountains and other renowned Buddhist holy sites, one cannot find a single practitioner with true attainment. Thinking of this is truly a matter that makes me feel deeply ashamed.
Because under the one-party dictatorship, citing the reason of being non-religious and following the general direction indicated by the party, the spiritual needs of the people were greatly neglected. When people felt uneasy within, they naturally turned to a mode of thinking oriented towards self-protection and selfishness.
At that time, people had experienced over a hundred years of war and division. When people could not get enough to eat or attend school, they were often misled into believing that feudal superstition was the reason for the country's regression, and that only by learning all the high technology of Western countries could they catch up with Britain and America and find a foothold in society. The teachings of our ancestors, along with Buddhist education, were cast aside at that moment and even largely eradicated. People worried that all of this was the reason for the country heading backwards.
However, today, as people are well-fed and have various afflictions, they are also experiencing extreme emptiness in their Body-Mind-Spirit, which makes them think of the benefits of Buddhist education once again. A portion of Chinese people are indeed like this; their Buddhist affinity has actually always existed, throughout many lives and dynasties, but due to the ignorance of beings, various afflictions, and misleading rhetoric, they were kept away from the Buddha’s teachings.
When people are at their most miserable, they seek the support of the Buddha’s teachings again. It is only when people's material lives become affluent but their hearts become even more painful that they realise the value of Buddhist education, remembering this education that has been passed down in China for thousands of years, standing firm, and capable of bringing true peace to people's hearts—this is Buddhist education.
At this moment in China, although those willing to accept Buddhist education seem to be a small minority, whether it is the Buddhist education taught to everyone by the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia, or other small places focusing on Buddhism, people are beginning to grasp these, wanting to know the truth of the spirit, and wanting to achieve true not grow old, not get sick, and the spirit does not die. This is a comforting fact.
But most importantly, there is the fact that Namo Amituofo truly abides at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia. Namo Amituofo truly abides at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, conducting such large-scale Chao Du and salvation throughout the world, especially in China. Practitioner Su’s heart is so pure and good, wanting to save China, because the roots of the Buddha’s teachings have always been in China, and he hopes to awaken these roots buried in people's hearts once again.
If China, with its power as the world's first or second largest superpower, could use Buddhist education to govern the country, it would have great influence on the world stage. All this Buddhist education must be based on the Buddhist education of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia. Here, Namo Amituofo, Teacher Xia Lianju, and Practitioner Su, these three Buddhas are here to provide teachings for the people of the world.
Nowadays, with demon crowds rampant, only when the Buddha abides in the world can one truly subdue demonic enemies. Only after subduing the demon crowds can people's hearts find true stability and peace, without being subject to too much interference; this is the true face of the world at present.
There are tens of thousands of Buddhist temples of all sizes across China; with so many, which one has true Buddhist education? Looking at it now, there are too few, or perhaps there are none left. Perhaps there are a few temples willing to focus on reciting "Namo Amituofo" to the end, using the Infinite Life Sutra as the direction for practice; but because there is no true Buddha abiding in the world, and no education truly taught by the Buddha, many monastics are still unable to hold onto their original heart and still have situations that deviate from the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way.
Especially from the perspective of us beings of the Western Land, the extent to which demon crowds are rampant throughout China, although it has been greatly improved and alleviated under the powerful subduing of demonic enemies by Practitioner Su, it is still far from enough. Because when the human heart is not truly rectified, demon crowds will still be attracted by the evil thoughts in people's hearts and take root and sprout on this land. Although Practitioner Su can save demon crowds, it does not address the root cause. If the human heart does not change and remains selfish, then demon crowds will never be finished being invited and saved!
Today, our greater China region is truly blessed. Practitioner Su has made so many Ultimate Vows; in order to save the Chinese people, he is willing to use the skill of countless manifestations to conduct comprehensive Chao Du throughout China, and while his own body suffers many attacks from demon crowds, he does not hesitate and has no complaints. Several months ago, Practitioner Su’s face was attacked countless times by too many demon crowds, leading to bruising, yet Practitioner Su continued straight ahead, because saving the demon crowds can save the Chinese people, and can also save the beings in the spiritual realms and the human world. Only in this way can we find true successors, and only in this way can the Buddha’s teachings be truly spread.
And now, Practitioner Su has a new way of acquiring wisdom, which is to use the words of President Xi Jinping’s father, Xi Zhongxun, to carry out vigorous transformation and purification of President Xi. Xi Zhongxun was also a leader of a generation in China. Now, as Practitioner Su conducts Chao Du for Chinese celebrities, he has also been rescued from hell by Practitioner Su opening up space, and has arrived at the Western Land of Dharma Nature.
Practitioner Su’s countless manifestations have immense purifying power, conducting deep purification within President Xi Jinping’s body, and also leading his spirit to recognize true Buddhist education, allowing his spirit to gradually awaken while the beings in his body gradually retreat. If the Body-Mind-Spirit can reach true unity afterwards, then China can be truly saved.
A country’s leader is so important. If President Xi has a day of awakening, can know the magnificence of the Buddhist education at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia, and can know that Namo Amituofo has come to the world, he must seize the opportunity to pass on the true Buddhist education. I believe this can certainly light up the dark corners in the hearts of many Chinese people, can allow the Buddhist affinity deeply hidden in the hearts of many to be truly awakened, and allow them to be truly utilised.
Do not underestimate all of this. Everything Practitioner Su is doing, with the great help of Namo Amituofo, has actually quietly awakened not only the Buddha-nature in President Xi Jinping, but also the Buddhist affinity and Buddha-nature in the hearts of many people across the land of China. These precious resources of Buddhist affinity and Buddha-nature are the foundation left behind by the deep virtues accumulated by the Chinese ancestors. If Buddhist education can take root and sprout in China again at this time, if a few people can stand up first to lead everyone towards the direction of the true Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, then the next generation of children will be saved. Practitioner Su has vowed to let children in the first grade across China begin to receive Buddhist education, and to let primary and secondary schools and all levels of schools across China be nurtured by Buddhist education. Letting people understand the direction and goals of life when they are young is truly too important. If the Chinese people can stand up, then the world will be saved.
Looking around now, from a secular perspective, President Xi Jinping is conducting various negotiations and exchanges with leaders of various countries, hoping to achieve the power of a global superpower to stabilise the current situation of frequent wars throughout the world. It can be seen that President Xi is still a peace-loving person and does not want any country in the world to fall into war, so he is also actively establishing cooperative relationships with countries willing to cooperate to maintain regional stability and even world peace.
But everything he does is merely what people do in the secular world and cannot reach ultimate perfection. Does it truly follow the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way? This depends on whether his heart truly thinks for all beings, and even lives for the beings of the whole world, rather than just having some unilateral measures and actions to protect his own country and people.
These clear principles, under the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, cannot be biased in the slightest! China cannot just move forward with the goal of being a strong country. It must achieve world harmony and, in a situation where it can have a sense of oneness with all countries, can it truly abide by the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way.
Today, everything Practitioner Su is managing within President Xi Jinping’s body is to rectify his thinking, allowing him to walk on the path of Goodness. When his heart becomes purer and kinder, it is the time for Buddhist education to take deep root in his heart.
This is already the case at this moment; Practitioner Su’s countless manifestations are constantly operating within his body. There are too many karmic creditors and demon crowds who originally wanted to take revenge on him and on all the Chinese people, as well as beings with Collective Karma related to the country and its people, who have been invited out one by one and have arrived at the Western Land of Dharma Nature.
Practitioner Su can subdue demonic enemies, and he can equally subdue karmic creditors, and even beings who have developed resentment due to the immense karma of Collective Karma beings. The desire of these beings to seek revenge is no less than that of the demon crowds, and even greater than the demon crowds, but none of this can escape the palm of Practitioner Su. Because Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su have long known all of this, it is just that the Causal Conditions are now mature, and President Xi’s blessings are sufficient to be fully utilised at this moment.
Among them, Practitioner Su recently guided over three hundred Chinese celebrities, which also played a significant role. Each of their stories is actually not much different from President Xi Jinping’s story; it can be said that the path they once walked is also the path President Xi Jinping is walking today.
This is why Practitioner Su just mentioned again today that President Xi’s spirit has already gone to the heart-gouging hell to suffer retribution. Looking at it, he has similarities and differences in the direction he took compared to the country’s past leaders, but there still exists a character that deviates from the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, as well as demon nature, which is why there are so many demon crowds on him, and why his spirit has gone to the heart-gouging hell to suffer retribution.
Practitioner Su is so compassionate in constantly providing these explanations for his spirit, just to peel back these truths one by one, allowing him to truly believe deeply in the Buddha’s education, believe deeply in Practitioner Su’s power to save the world, and subsequently believe that if China is to be saved, only by following Practitioner Su’s footsteps is the ultimate and perfect path.
While President Xi’s soul is suffering retribution in hell, he shouts to his own body: "Wake up quickly! Hurry up and follow the Buddha! Namo Amituofo is right at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, you must wake up quickly!"
It can be seen that his spirit is also very compassionate and is a very sensitive spirit; having followed Practitioner Su to save the world for many years, it certainly appears to be so. Therefore, now, it is to rely on his spirit to rectify his body and mind.
Now that I, Deng Xiaoping, have gone through such a long life and have also been to the Avici Hell to suffer retribution, I want to loudly appeal to President Xi Jinping here: you now have this very precious body, and you can still follow the Buddha; this kind of opportunity is truly difficult to encounter in millions of years. None of us leaders had the chance to encounter such a good thing back then, which shows that you are a person with deep Buddhist affinity; you must seize it!
Today, China has a population of over 1.4 billion, and everyone is living in deep water and scorching fire, yet they do not know it themselves. Moreover, the spirits of many people have long been suffering in hell. Can you truly know the suffering in the hearts of the people?
Seeing how people today live without autonomy because of an identity, a status, a personality, or a relationship. This spirit has long been trapped and suffering within the body, and beings are about to drift according to their karma, heading to different places to endure the retribution of suffering. If all this is not corrected by Buddhist education, who can possess the wisdom to know how to conduct themselves in the world, and how to correct their own erroneous thoughts and concepts?
You must not repeat the mistakes that our generation once committed. If you continue to shut out this most fundamental and precious education, blindly promoting other forms of education and ideologies while ignoring the most important fundamental education—the education that adjusts people's character, and the education that guides people to start from the root to achieve the perfection of Buddha-actions and Buddha-vows.
If this precious Buddhist education is ignored by this generation once again, then you are truly the one who has personally sent the Buddha's teachings into the Dharma-ending age. How could you bear such a sin?
Now that you have encountered Namo Amituofo truly abiding at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia, and even having such a great purification and transformation performed for your body. If you do not cherish all of this, and fail to allow the Buddha's teachings to be spread to the greatest extent in China, then this is truly missing a great Causal Condition.
I, Deng Xiaoping, have also undergone ten years of purification in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. I have always kept an eye on China's development, and I have also always kept an eye on the Chao Du skills of Practitioner Su at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia. Now, Practitioner Su has invited me again to conduct this visit to people all over the world, especially the people of China. I think I should stop here.
Under the guidance of Practitioner Su, President Xi Jinping will certainly be able to make progress day by day. There will surely be a time when Buddhist education in China rises; I am full of confidence in all of this. I believe that the people of our motherland still have a heart that aspires towards goodness and virtue, it is just that because they have no way to receive this kind of education, they do not know where to start.
I also believe that President Xi Jinping is a person of potential. After Practitioner Su continues to adjust President Xi Jinping, I believe he will certainly be able to stand up again and work for the people of China and even the whole world. This is what I sincerely hope for now.
I also hope that President Xi Jinping can awaken while he still possesses a human body, and not be like us, who only truly awakened after leaving the human world and suffering in hell.
