Li Yining:
.
At this moment, I, Li Yining, am speaking to you all from the Western Land of Nature at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. I never imagined that in this small town of Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, there would be such a magnificent Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss on earth, and that Namo Amituofo is residing here. It is only because of this that I, Li Yining, have the magnificent opportunity to speak to you all today from the Land of Dharma Nature.
I am deeply grateful for the of Practitioner Su, who has vowed to save those national leaders of China who have already departed from this world, as well as prominent figures from various fields. I, Li Yining, have also taken this opportunity to be fortunate enough to be saved from hell by Practitioner Su.
The suffering of hell is truly indescribable; it is excruciating and extreme. No one can endure such suffering in hell. Because the tortures of hell are directed at the soul, no matter how strong your will is, or how ruthless a person you may have been, as long as you arrive in hell, you will inevitably wail incessantly amidst the tortures. I, Li Yining, am certainly no exception. In the brain-gouging hell, my brain was continuously gouged open.
As my brain endured the torture of excruciating pain, I actually vaguely realised that perhaps it was because of the wrongdoings I committed with this brain that I had to accept the torture of brain-gouging in hell. No matter how many times I died in hell, I had to continue to endure this torture. Countless rebirths in hell represent countless instances of brain-gouging torture.
In the hell where every day feels like a year, after several years, I finally arrived at the Western Land of Dharma Nature at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre with the help of Practitioner Su. At this moment, on the Land of Dharma Nature, I am very calm and peaceful. I am grateful that there is an awakened being in the human world, Practitioner Su, and I am also grateful that Namo Amituofo has come to this world to help all suffering sentient beings leave suffering and gain happiness.
In the future, I know I will have the opportunity to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, because the Western Land of Dharma Nature where I am now is the transit station to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. I am very grateful! Due to the existence of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, suffering sentient beings in the world now have the opportunity to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
At this time, I also earnestly pray that all the civilians in China will be able to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss in the future, just like me. I believe that this wish will one day be realised.
Currently, on the Western Land of Dharma Nature, I see that the Buddhist education provided by the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is indeed still very unfamiliar to the Chinese people. This is mainly because, under the current political environment in China, it is subject to the control of relevant religious management authorities, which has hindered the promotion of the precious materials of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre within China to a certain extent.
However, I believe this is just a process, because the Buddha came to this world to help people in the world, including every Chinese person, to gain the benefits of not grow old, not get sick, and the spirit does not die. Everyone needs such benefits, and everyone longs for them; they are only suffering because they have not found a truly effective method. Now, Practitioner Su of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre has personally verified the true benefits of the Buddha's teachings on not grow old, not get sick, and the spirit does not die, bringing confidence and hope to people in the world. I hope every Chinese person will connect with the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre as soon as possible, so that they will have the opportunity to turn their lives around.
Aging, sickness, and death are processes that everyone generally has to go through. Life is indeed very bitter, bitter because one cannot be the master. How many of the Chinese people are truly in control of their own bodies, or is it the , attached spirits, or demon crowds within their bodies that are controlling them? I would like everyone to explore this question for themselves after reading this letter.
In short, I can only say that the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way are truly very important. If one cannot clearly understand the true Truth, one loses the guidelines for conduct in life and the standards for thought. As long as there is a wrong view, a deviation in thought, or if one accidentally does something that harms others, one has actually already gone against the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. The subtleties of this, if not pointed out by enlightened beings like Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su, are often difficult to perceive by oneself.
The path of life originally has only one direction, and that is to walk on the path of the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. Once there is a deviation, although it may only be a slight difference at the beginning, if it is not adjusted in time, the further one goes, the further one will move away from this originally flat and straight path of Truth.
In my life as an economist and an educator, during my time as a professor at Peking University, I was fortunate to meet many outstanding students with talent in economics and provided them with the guidance I could. I am very happy that many of them later became outstanding talents, including the former Premier of the State Council of China, Li Keqiang; when he was studying for his doctorate in economics at Peking University, I had a teacher-student relationship with him.
However, upon arriving at the Land of Dharma Nature, I saw that after Premier Li Keqiang left the human world, he also entered hell to suffer punishment like me, which made me feel deeply saddened. I never thought that the distance between the human world and hell would be so close. Fortunately, we were both very lucky to have met Practitioner Su of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, and only then did we have the opportunity to escape from hell.
In this life, I put a lot of effort into the reform and opening up of the concept of shareholding companies, and I was very fortunate to have laid a certain foundation for China's economic opening up later on. Throughout my life, I have always done things with the most rigorous attitude and fulfilled my responsibilities, hoping to do them perfectly. It is just that I did not expect that in many places, it was inevitably mixed with personal positions and selfishness.
This is not to say that I only considered my own interests. After all, for me, as an intellectual, I should use my knowledge to seek well-being for the people of the world and do great things that can be passed down through the ages and benefit generations to come. But in this process, was there really no sense of self, no personal views, or even a trace of negative mentality and evil thoughts? Actually, I really dare not say there were none.
Arriving at the Land of Dharma Nature to listen to sutras and hear the Dharma, I finally understood that as long as a person cannot completely let go of their own body, and cannot truly see through that is only a temporary shell used by the soul, in the absence of truly letting go of the "self," one will inevitably create immeasurable and boundless sins. Because every thought is a seed of , and the thoughts that cannot stop for a moment also create the various changes in one's life.
Therefore, I, Li Yining, who went against the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, entered the brain-gouging hell after death. The more I understand the Buddhist education of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, the more I understand the truth of life and the universe, and only then did I know that it was not at all unjust for me to enter hell. Too many Chinese people are actually just like me, suffering from this heart that cannot be the master, and suffering from the thoughts that they cannot stop and that are running endlessly. Among these ever-changing thoughts, how many are truly for the sake of sentient beings, rather than related to this body of one's own? This really depends on everyone's own skills.
Why study the Buddha's teachings? In fact, it is to help people to truly hold and manage this heart well, and not to deviate from the broad path of the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. If one accidentally runs off this path, the soul will suffer tremendous pain. It turns out that there are so many ghosts in the human body, many of whom are our karmic creditors, and they are all waiting for us to make mistakes so that they can find an opportunity to seek revenge.
If one can keep one's heart on the path of the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way without going beyond the scope, one can avoid being found by karmic creditors, and thus avoid the end of aging, sickness, and death. It turns out that the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is so important because it is the only school in the world that teaches everyone what the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way are.
Under the leadership of Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su, using various "skillful means" and compassionate wisdom, they help people understand what the true Truth is. And only by following the Truth can one's Body-Mind-Spirit gain true peace and happiness, and let everyone truly be the master of their own body. Only those who are truly the master can possibly not grow old, not get sick, and the spirit does not die.
It turns out that the antidote to avoid aging, sickness, and death has never been outside, but in this heart within oneself. As long as one can dig out the Tathagata treasure from one's self-nature and reveal the true light of compassion from one's self-nature, one will have the opportunity to obtain the true benefits of the Buddha's teachings.
Here, I earnestly hope that more Chinese people will attain Buddhahood like Practitioner Su in the future, because this means that immeasurable and boundless sentient beings will be saved. From my perspective as a Chinese person, if the next awakened being can appear in China, the first to receive direct benefits will be our immeasurable and boundless sentient beings and civilians in China.
I hope every Chinese person can understand that there are actually only two paths in life. The first is the Buddha's path, which walks with the Buddha. On this path, the only thing to do is to save the world, and it is not an ordinary rescue, but to save sentient beings and then allow them to obtain true benefits, which is to help them elevate their spirits and be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Because in the Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, all spiritual life will have infinite lifespan, and there is no need to go into the six realms of rebirth to suffer.
This Buddha's path is actually what is called the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, because the so-called Buddha is actually one who can thoroughly abide by the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. What is the method of Practitioner Su of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre to attain Buddhahood? In fact, it is to walk firmly on this path of Truth, and without any doubt, to settle one's heart on this Buddha-name "Namo Amituofo".
In fact, life is like driving on a one-way street that never stops. The driver is one's own soul, and this car is one's own body, and the steering wheel of the car is one's own heart. All the people of China, you must hold on to this Buddha-name "Namo Amituofo", because only when your heart is settled on this "Namo Amituofo" can you drive steadily on the path of Truth in the impermanent life. This broad path is simple and easy to follow, and the destination is the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, which is free from suffering.
If you cannot keep your heart on this Buddha-name "Namo Amituofo" at every moment, it is inevitable that you will accidentally let this car go beyond the scope of the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. At that time, you will enter the second path of life, which is the path of the "self". This path is very bitter, because the various sections of the road are ever-changing. Some sections make people feel happy, and some sections make people feel painful. "Impermanence" is a common phenomenon of this road. The end of this road is the six realms of rebirth, which will make your soul suffer greatly, and there will be no stable place to return to.
Here, I, Li Yining, sincerely appeal to all the people of China that they should choose the path of Truth and not choose the path of the "self". That is to say, we should choose the first path of life, and in the future, we should all be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, and not let our souls wander and suffer in the six realms of rebirth.
Speaking of this, if you still do not understand enough why you should not choose the path of the "self", then I will tell you the difference between these two paths from a more direct and practical perspective, that is, they have different degrees of friendliness to our souls.
When people drive on the path of Truth, it can be said that there is no threat at the spiritual level. Your soul will receive the highest protection on this path and will be able to be the true master of your body.
If you are driving on the path of the "self", it will be filled with all kinds of forces to pull your soul. That is to say, people's souls will be under great threat and will be scattered to various places in this process.
These forces that pull our souls are called "karma". They are very strong and difficult to resist. As we go further and further on the path of the "self", the driver of the car of the soul slowly is no longer one's own soul, because there are many souls on this road who want to snatch this car. The identities of these souls can be external spirits outside the body, or they can be karmic creditors in the cell space within the body.
How long is the length of a human life? When I, Li Yining, was alive, I believed that it was simply the time from one's birth until one's death; this is what is called the length of a person's life. However, now that I am in the Western Land of Dharma Nature and see the various phenomena of the human world, I have come to a different realisation. It turns out that the length of a human life is not the length of time this body survives, but rather, when one's soul completely loses the right to drive this vehicle of the body, that is when a person's life has truly ended.
In other words, even if the body lives for nearly one hundred years, if at the sixty-year mark the right to drive this vehicle of the body is completely seized by another soul, then that person's life has effectively only lasted sixty years, not the one hundred years the body survived.
I wish to share this concept with all the people of China. It is my hope that everyone can understand the importance of being able to "master" the heart, which means maintaining your soul's right to drive this vehicle of the body. If you can truly achieve this, you will have the opportunity to become an awakened being, attain Buddhahood, and recover your original face.
Why must each of our lives be driven along the path of the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way? Because on this path, your soul possesses a complete and robust defence, has a very high resistance to the malicious attacks of other spirits, and your life will no longer be subject to any attacks from karmic creditors.
Why does the Buddhist education at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre always tell everyone to keep their heart in a state of purity and goodness, and to recite the Holy Name "Namo Amituofo"? Because every region along the path of the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way is a magnetic field of pure purity and pure goodness. As long as you can keep your heart on this Buddha-name "Namo Amituofo," you can ensure that your soul walks steadily on the path of Truth, allowing us to forever retain the "right to drive" this vehicle of the body.
When we can ensure that our right to drive this vehicle of the body will never be seized, only then can our spiritual life be elevated, and we can even attain Buddhahood. This is the benefit of following the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way.
How to walk the path of life depends entirely on your own heart. Now, Namo Amituofo has come to this world and resides at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia to bring the people of the world a true "education of the heart." As long as you believe in Namo Amituofo, believe in the unborn and undying Buddha-nature you inherently possess, and believe that you, too, can help immeasurable and boundless beings just like Namo Amituofo.
Firmly recite this "Namo Amituofo," rather than thinking of any person, matter, or object in the world. Doing so means you are travelling on the great path towards the Western Land. This path is entirely pure and good, and is composed entirely of Truth. Because this "Namo Amituofo" is the heart of Namo Amituofo, and it is also the vow of Namo Amituofo. And the heart and vow of Namo Amituofo are naturally and completely in sync with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way.
I am grateful for the Buddha's compassion, which allows people in this world to rely on this Buddha-name and have the opportunity to be the true master of their own bodies, rather than letting their bodies become puppets for karmic creditors and other spirits.
People of China, how you walk the path of life should be decided by yourself, not by the karmic creditors within your body or other spirits outside of it. The right to drive this vehicle of the body should be firmly held in your own hands. This is a principle that every Chinese person should understand in the future.
Currently, most Chinese people are travelling on the path of the "self," which means thinking for themselves, satisfying the sensations and desires of their own bodies, or for the sake of self-protection, considering their own interests and positions. If we speak more subtly, it is about always having fixed and attached specific views on people, matters, and things. If there is even a trace of negativity or malice within this, it has already violated the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way.
In fact, when everyone is just born and is still an infant, they are naturally on the path of the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. Because a child's soul is naturally pure and flawless, and in sync with the Truth.
However, if a child does not receive the Buddhist education of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre from a young age, and use this "Namo Amituofo" to keep themselves on the path of Truth, it will lead the child to slowly leave this broad and smooth path towards the Western Land and enter the path of the "self," which is full of crises.
This also represents the beginning of the process of aging and illness, because all aging and pathological changes of the body are due to one's own soul gradually becoming incomplete. This right to drive is replaced by karmic creditors or other spirits, causing a part of the soul to be kicked out of the body and wander around. In fact, many people with obvious physical illnesses have had a part of their soul suffering in hell for a long time. It is precisely because the soul is suffering that the body produces various mutations.
What is the truth of death? If I had not seen it with my own eyes in the Land of Dharma Nature, I would not have understood. It turns out that when your body is completely controlled by other spirits, it means your death has occurred. Although the body still appears to be living normally in the world, making various decisions, and so on, the right to use the body no longer belongs to your true self. What difference is there between this and a walking corpse?
If you can walk on the path of Truth, your life will be lived in great peace, and your Body-Mind-Spirit will attain true stability and freedom. If you walk on the path of the "self," you will cause your life to encounter various physical and mental pains and torments. It turns out that all pain, suffering, and blows actually come from your own soul not being truly complete, which is because you have long been unable to decide where this vehicle of the body should be driven. If you could truly decide the direction of your life, then under the circumstances of your true self being the master, who would perform various actions that cause themselves to suffer?
You must know that the Law of Cause and Effect will not deceive you in the slightest. All the pain you endure is actually the cause you have created yourself. If you are a person who can be the master, you naturally have an awakened and clear mind, can make wise judgments, and are clear about what should be done and what should not be done, naturally in sync with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way.
Therefore, all the pain in the world actually comes from one's inability to be the master. And the process of aging, sickness, and death that everyone must experience actually comes from the same inability to be the master. Because you cannot hold onto your own heart, you cannot make this ever-changing and impermanent heart stable.
The heart is the direction on the path of life; the heart is the steering wheel of this vehicle of the body. If you cannot let your heart truly rest, then your life will not know where it is heading.
Why do many people feel that the future is always so lost? You should ask yourself: is the current you being the master, or are your karmic creditors and other spirits being the master?
Everyone in the future world, including every Chinese person, should learn to recite this precious "Namo Amituofo." Because only when your heart is kept on this Buddha-name can this heart, which was originally ever-changing and unable to be calmed, truly find peace.
If people do not recite this Buddha-name "Namo Amituofo," everything they think about in their hearts is related to the world. And everything in the world is formed by the combination of multiple , illusory and impermanent. In this way, how can your heart truly find peace?
This "Namo Amituofo" represents the highest principle of the universe that operates without birth or death, which is the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way; at the same time, it also represents the eternal and indestructible vow of Namo Amituofo. As long as you can recite this "Namo Amituofo," your heart can find a truly stable home.
At that time, everyone will discover that they were once like Namo Amituofo, having made the great vow to save the world, and having once vowed to dedicate themselves to saving sentient beings. At that time, it is when everyone can recover their inherent compassion.
This is the true Dharma of the heart, the true education of the heart. The Buddha came to this world just to tell everyone the preciousness of this Buddha-name "Namo Amituofo," and at the same time to help everyone find their true self.
The Buddhist work of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is so precious because the object of this salvation work is the people of the whole world. It can bring people the true benefits of not grow old, not get sick, and the spirit does not die, and can also help everyone be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
Now that the Buddha has come to this world, he is actively carrying out the work of saving the world, and we in China should also participate in it vigorously. I hope that in the near future, a branch of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre can be established in China, and at that time, it will allow the Chinese people to receive the help of Namo Amituofo more quickly.
Of course, in my view as Li Yining, the preciousness of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is not only because Namo Amituofo resides here, but also because there is an awakened being in the human world—a flesh-body Buddha, Practitioner Su. I am grateful for the compassionate vow of Practitioner Su, who performs for sentient beings day and night without interruption, saving immeasurable and boundless spirits, which has moved Namo Amituofo to reside in this world.
I heard Practitioner Su give a Dharma talk saying that if there were no Buddha in the world, no one would have hope of being saved. This statement is truly profound. In the current environment, if the Buddha had not come to reside in the world, and if we had not encountered the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, how could we be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss?
Not to mention how anyone's physical pain could have a chance to be cured at the root? All of this requires Buddhist education, and it also requires the help of this Buddha, Practitioner Su. Without Practitioner Su implementing Body-Mind-Spirit therapy for people, many difficult and miscellaneous diseases would be hard to truly resolve, because only by helping people resolve conflicts with the karmic creditors within their bodies at the spiritual level can physical pain be truly resolved.
The Western Land of Dharma Nature is a Buddha-land established by Practitioner Su, allowing suffering spirits to be settled there after being saved by Practitioner Su, and in the future, they will have a better chance to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. This is the "skillful means" of Practitioner Su after attaining Buddhahood to save beings.
I clearly saw these facts in the Land of Dharma Nature, which made me understand even more that China also needs a flesh-body Buddha like Practitioner Su who has attained in the future. This will inevitably bring immeasurable and great benefits to the whole of China.
I am grateful to Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su for allowing me, Li Yining, to be reborn in the Western Land of Dharma Nature after the hellish sins I ignorantly created. And in the future, I will be able to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss; this is truly a great blessing.
I hope every Chinese person can have this same blessing as I do. As long as you can know the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, everyone has the opportunity to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. I hope to see you all in the West in the future.
Grateful to Namo Amituofo, grateful to Practitioner Su.
