The phrase, "Opening the Treasury for all, and widely bestowing the treasures of merit," is a sacred passage found within the seventh chapter of the Infinite Life Sutra (The Buddha Speaks the , Infinite Life, Adornment, Purity, Impartiality, and Sutra), titled "The Certainty of Attaining Enlightenment." This profound teaching serves as a beacon for all sentient beings, illuminating the path toward their original, true nature.
To open this treasury is to reveal the teachings contained within the Infinite Life Sutra. It is to share with the world the truth that every being possesses an inherent Dharma-nature and an original nature that is pure and perfect. - Virtuous Power: The capacity to act with compassion and strength, benefiting all beings without attachment.
- Auspicious Characteristics: The inner beauty and dignity that naturally manifest when one is in harmony with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way.
The Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss is not a distant, unreachable realm. It is the Buddha-land that has manifested directly from -nature of . It is the ultimate destination for those who seek to leave suffering behind and find happiness.
The Living Presence of the Buddha
Once you have personally benefited from this practice, it becomes your duty to share these treasures with others. You must widely introduce the practice of "arouse the Bodhi mind and single-mindedly recite Namo Amituofo," and share the profound reality of our true nature and the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. By doing so, you allow others to access these same treasures of merit.

- Save all beings: Actively work to help suffering beings and even the demon crowds leave suffering behind and find happiness.
- Guide the fourfold assembly: Teach the monks, nuns, laymen, and laywomen to seek their true nature, ensuring the lineage of the Pure Land path continues to flourish.
By following these steps, you will be reborn in the Western Land of Dharma Nature, and from there, you will fulfill your ultimate wish to enter the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Let us work together to save countless suffering beings and guide them back to the light of the Buddha.
