Practice leads to progress when there is realisation,
because areas that were originally obstructed or blocked, or those that were intermittent and fragmented,
are cleared or connected, becoming complete and coherent; this is what is meant by realisation.
Where there is realisation, there is progress. Small realisations lead to great realisations, eventually resulting in and attaining Buddhahood.
"Chant one Buddha's name to the end", which means that under the Buddha's ,
using the Buddha's majestic power and merit, one stops delusions, false speech, false actions, discriminations,
and attachments, thereby severing afflictions:
from the coarsest afflictions of views and thoughts,
to the subtle dust-like afflictions,
and finally to the deepest, most imperceptible afflictions of confusion.
Afflictions are the cause of blockages in -Mind-Spirit.
The purer one is, the more one can perceive subtle afflictions,
and thus block them in time, preventing them from continuing to arise,
which would otherwise stir up , attract , attached spirits, or even cause demon crowds to manifest.
This prevents the manifestation of karma, helping one's practice remain free from the interference of karma and afflictions,
allowing one to maintain purity, gain comprehensive understanding, and make progress in practice.
Where there is realisation, each degree of realisation reveals a degree of Wisdom (Prajna):
Small realisations reveal small Wisdom (Prajna); great realisations reveal great Wisdom (Prajna).
When one is fully realised, Wisdom (Prajna) is fully revealed; this is the time of Awakening.
Those who have realised their true nature are wise persons. Their Wisdom (Prajna) is pure, unstained, , and in sync with the Buddha's Wisdom (Prajna).
This is the principle of the Buddha and the practitioner being in sync.
, Wisdom (Prajna), mind-capacity, tolerance, , and the ability to let go of are the natural character of those who have realised their true nature.
Realisation leads to progress; stride forward towards Awakening.
