In the journey of spiritual practice, one may often ask: what truly constitutes a difficulty? We often find ourselves stalled in our progress, unable to advance our spiritual achievements, or perhaps we feel that our practice has reached a plateau where no further growth is visible. Sometimes, the difficulty lies in the heart itself—we hold onto attachments, worries, or past habits that we find nearly impossible to let go of. These challenges usually originate from a lack of clarity regarding our true nature, or perhaps we possess some understanding but lack the ability to take full command of our own minds.
When we encounter these moments of stagnation, it is vital to remember that the manifestation of a sincere heart is the most potent tool at our disposal. Sincerity is not merely a feeling; it is an active force that reveals itself through our expressions, our vows, and our unwavering persistence. If you can maintain this sincerity until the very end, you will find that many of the difficulties which once seemed insurmountable can be resolved at the final moment. Through this breakthrough, you will discover a new path forward.
Sincerity has the profound ability to move not only the hearts of those around us but also the countless beings residing within our own bodies. When you are truly sincere, you are demonstrating your effort, your determination, and your unyielding resolve. In many cases, the importance of the process itself far outweighs the final result. As you undergo this process of purification, your Body-Mind-Spirit are cleansed and refined. This internal progress is a treasure that no external validation or praise can ever replace.
The most essential foundation for this transformation is your absolute faith in . As long as your practice is aligned with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, you must simply move forward with a straight heart. Do not allow yourself to retreat or lose your resolve because of internal voices of doubt, or because you feel unable to control your own reactions. The path to is a direct one; do not let the obstacles of the mind deter you from your goal.
We must also recognise that our and attached spirits are often the ones who set the questions for us to answer. They are not merely obstacles; they are part of the process of our spiritual examination. Whether or not you feel you have the perfect answer, or whether you are certain of the outcome, the act of responding with a sincere and honest heart is enough to pass the test. By doing so, you have already achieved the basic requirement to resolve the difficulty and move past the barrier.
