The All-Encompassing Vision of Namo Amituofo
Teachings from Namo Amituofo
Recorded and transcribed by Namo Amituofo’s disciple, Venerable HaiZe.
On the ninth of March, 2025, during the midday offering, Namo Amituofo provided these teachings:
The Boundless Vision of the Buddha
The vision of the Buddha is infinite and knows no bounds. It is not restricted by the limitations of time or space. Whether a moment is distant in the past or far in the future, or whether a location is near or across the vast reaches of the universe, everything is visible, manifest, and known to the Buddha in the present moment.
This all-encompassing awareness includes the of every single microscopic particle within the infinite expanse of space and time. It encompasses the past, present, and future of all beings throughout the universe, including every event that has occurred, is occurring, or will occur. The Alaya of all entities across the Earth, the Realm, the entire universe, the Milky Way, the heavens beyond the heavens, and even the beings in the plague and demon realms is clearly visible to the Buddha.
Guiding Beings with Infinite
The Buddha’s eye sees all of this with absolute clarity. The Buddha’s vision extends to every living being, including those currently caught in the six realms of rebirth on Earth. The Buddha perceives their past experiences, their present circumstances, and their future trajectories. Because of this, the Buddha can teach and guide beings according to their specific capacities and needs.
For those with whom the Buddha has a Dharma affinity, even though the number of beings is boundless, the Buddha can assist them in their practice. This help allows them to break through the difficult barriers they face and reach the state of an awakened being sooner.
The Promise of the of Ultimate Bliss
The Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss flows forth from the true self of Namo Amituofo. When viewed through the Buddha’s eye, the four lands, the three grades, and the nine levels of rebirth are all clearly visible. The Buddha knows the past, present, and future of all these beings and can bestow the prophecy of when they will eventually attain Buddhahood.
Throughout the Ten Directions of the Dharma Realm, wherever a being calls upon the name of Namo Amituofo, the Buddha is immediately aware of it. When a person who is nearing the end of their life calls upon the Buddha’s name with a sincere heart, Namo Amituofo will lead them to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. There, they will be born from a lotus flower, leaving all suffering behind to only receive all happiness.
The Light Within the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre
When viewed through the Buddha’s eye, the students of Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre are also clearly seen. The Buddha knows the every thought and intention of these students, as well as the Alaya consciousness of the countless beings within one's body and cells residing within them. The Buddha is aware of their mental states and their movements, and at any moment, the Buddha radiates light to soothe and comfort these beings.
This light encourages them to calm their minds, accept resolution, and undergo . This process helps the fourfold assembly of disciples to practise within a state of Body-Mind-Spirit purification. However, it is essential that the students maintain their faith, chant Buddha's name, perform prostrations, and recite the Sutras, as the Buddha's are manifested through these actions.
A Rare Opportunity for Liberation
This is especially true during prostrations. When you bow, the Buddha stands before you, ready at any moment to lead those beings who are willing to enter the light. By leaving and finding liberation through Chao Du, these beings—including your , attached spirits, and even beings in the plague and demon realms—are granted a rare opportunity that is difficult to encounter in millions of years: the chance to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
Therefore, I ask the fourfold assembly to maintain a kind heart and pure thoughts. Always remind and teach the countless beings within one's body to chant Buddha's name. By chanting and entering the light, they can be liberated from the cycle of rebirth and enter the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
