The Compassionate Sacrifice of Practitioner Su: Suffering on Behalf of Demonic Beings
Teachings from Namo Amituofo

The Shadow of the Ten Realms
Demonic beings are one of the many types of sentient beings in the Dharma realm. They are omnipresent, existing everywhere and at all times. In this current age of the Dharma’s decline, these beings do not merely stand as obstacles to those who seek the truth; they actively infiltrate the lives of practitioners. They may enter a person’s body, becoming attached spirits that exert control over the practitioner’s body-mind-spirit. This interference makes it exceptionally difficult for one to make steady progress in their practice.
The Trials of the Modern Practitioner
This is the great test that every practitioner must face today. These demonic influences manifest in various ways to disrupt our path:
- They accelerate the suffering of aging, sickness, and death within our physical bodies.
- They induce states of heavy , clouding the mind and spirit.
- They create barriers that cause practitioners to lose autonomy over their own and space.
However, if you can remain diligent in your practice and work to change your personality traits, you will be able to pass these tests. It is through this transformation that your practice will truly advance.
The Compassionate Sacrifice of Practitioner Su
At the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia, Practitioner Su works tirelessly under the constant blessing of Namo Amituofo. With countless manifestations, Practitioner Su enters the Earth, the Dharma realms, the universe, the Milky Way, the heavens beyond heavens, and even the realms of demonic beings and other dimensions to perform for countless beings and demons alike.
Because of this immense work, demonic beings often resort to using magical attacks against Practitioner Su. These attacks manifest in many painful ways:
- They cause severe dizziness and create a white, misty obstruction before his eyes, hindering his ability to deliver lectures.
- During Dharma assemblies, they may attack his throat to prevent him from speaking.
- They inflict pain and weakness in his waist and legs, creating obstacles to his meditative concentration and his ability to perform spiritual deliverance.
- They may even target the skin and pores of his body as points of entry for their attacks.
A Path to Redemption for All
Practitioner Su bears this suffering on behalf of these demonic beings. Despite the relentless nature of these attacks, he continues to use his countless manifestations to save them. He employs the Twelve Lights to illuminate their darkness and strikes the bell to awaken their true nature. By doing so, he invites these beings to enter the Western Land of Dharma Nature. Once there, they are able to shed their demonic forms, don pure garments, listen to sutras and hear the Dharma, and understand the Buddha’s teachings.
They come to realise the profound benefits of chanting Namo Amituofo and become willing to chant Namo Amituofo all the way. At this time, while Namo Amituofo truly abides at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, all demonic beings should hasten to come forward. You must seek refuge at the feet of Namo Amituofo. This is the moment for you to save yourselves, for the Buddha to save you, and for all to stop doing evil, leave suffering behind, and find true happiness.
