True reverence is a heart of absolute sincerity. It is devoid of any hypocrisy or falsehood. When we interact with one another, we must be completely open and honest, for this is the foundation of our spiritual journey. Without this sincerity, our practice remains superficial, but with it, we open the door to profound transformation.
Seeing the Buddha in All
We must abandon all discriminations between high and low, superior and inferior. In truth, every single being is a Buddha. The only difference between us is whether we are currently lost in confusion or have attained . When you look at others, do not see their flaws or their status; instead, see the potential for Buddhahood that resides within them.
Navigating the Illusory World
The world manifests in a myriad of forms, yet we must realise that we are walking through an illusory realm. We should make good use of this dream-like body to achieve the realisation of our true self. Do not be deceived by the changing appearances of the world, but use every moment to cultivate wisdom and .
The Purpose of Our Life
Since you have come into this life, you must understand the value of contentment. You are not here merely to suffer; you are here to help all sentient beings leave suffering behind. Follow the path of the Buddha and the teachers with unwavering devotion. By aligning your life with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, you will find the strength to persevere.
The Path to Deliverance
The first priority is to pay homage to all Buddhas. You must treat all sentient beings with deep reverence. Let the Buddha-name flow from your lips with every breath. Such sincerity is the essential requirement of our practice. Seek the Buddha’s teachings with a reverent heart, for it is through this that your true self will be revealed.
Let the water of the Buddha’s wisdom wash away the dust of your past, and let the Buddha-light purify all your defilements. Even though some spirits may appear as your , remember that they are also children of the Buddha. We are all one in essence.
