By aligning your heart with the Buddha’s, you remove the obstacles that prevent his light from illuminating your life, allowing your practice to transform from a slow climb into a swift ascent.

Consider the evolution of travel: initially, one must rely on their own two feet to walk across the land. This is slow and arduous. Then, one might transition to a four-wheeled vehicle, which allows for much faster movement across the terrain. This represents the power of the Pure Land practice, which accelerates our progress toward liberation.
However, there is an even faster way to reach one’s destination—the high-speed electric train. Whether one can transition to this 'electric' mode of practice, which moves with even greater speed and efficiency, depends entirely on the practitioner. It depends on whether your skills have matured, whether your concentration has deepened, and whether you have the opportunity to fully commit to this supreme method. The ultimate destination for all of us is the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, and the Pure Land Dharma Gate is the most reliable vehicle to carry us there.
The Eternal Practice
Regardless of whether you are currently in a human body or are a spirit from the spiritual realms, the process of navigating this life remains the same. You must put in the work. You must apply yourself to the practice of chanting Namo Amituofo, and you must dedicate yourself to the purification of your body, heart, and spirit. These are the essential processes of transformation that no practitioner can bypass.
What remains constant, both before you reach the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss and even after you have arrived, is the continuous recitation of the six-character name: Namo Amituofo. It must never be interrupted. Therefore, if you have faith in the Buddha, if you hold the name with sincerity, and if you have made the vow to enter the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, you should proceed with and walk this path with your feet firmly on the ground. Even upon reaching the Western Land, the practice of chanting Namo Amituofo continues, for it is the heartbeat of the Pure Land.

The purification of your spiritual quality is a lifelong endeavour, conducted under the radiance of Infinite Light and Infinite Life. It involves listening to the sutras, hearing the Dharma, and applying these teachings to your daily life. This is how you continue your diligent practice, step by step, until you eventually enter the Land of Eternally Quiescent Light and achieve the full fruition of the Buddha’s path. May you remain steadfast, may your faith remain unshakable, and may your chanting of Namo Amituofo be the constant light that guides you home.
