The Infinite Lotus Seats of the Dharma-Nature Land

The Infinite Flow of Compassion

During every Thrice Yearning Ceremony, we witness a profound and moving spectacle. The scene of Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su performing Chao Du for the demonic beings as they enter the Dharma-Nature Land is like a vast, rolling ocean tide, flowing continuously into this sacred realm. The Dharma-Nature Land is infinitely vast, possessing boundless space capable of accommodating an immeasurable number of beings. Upon entering the Dharma-Nature Land, each being is guided to a space that corresponds perfectly to their own spiritual development, determined by their good roots, blessings, and Causal Conditions.

The Lotus Seat as a Mirror of the Heart

Simultaneously, every being is provided with a lotus seat, which manifests according to the state of their heart and mind. If the heart is bright and clear, the lotus seat appears radiant and soft; if the heart has not yet been adjusted, the lotus seat appears dim and heavy. The lotus seat serves as a reflection of the heart of that being. Because Practitioner Su performs Chao Du for an immeasurable and boundless number of beings, there are an equally infinite number of lotus seats—infinite seats that respond to the heart of every being.

The Manifestation of the Dharma Body

The Western Land of Dharma Nature is a manifestation flowing from the Dharma Body of Practitioner Su, just as the environment and the dignity of the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss flow from the Dharma Body of Namo Amituofo. This is the inconceivable nature of the Dharma! It is also because the vows of Practitioner Su are aligned with the Forty-eight Great Vows of Namo Amituofo that he is able to manifest a Dharma-Nature Land just as Namo Amituofo has done.

A Path for Every Practitioner
