The Infinite Manifestations of Buddhahood

The following are the profound teachings shared by Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju during the third session of the Thrice Yearning Ceremony on February 28, 2025.

The Universe Within the Human Form

The universe is truly infinite and boundless, containing countless Buddhas and immeasurable Buddha-lands. In truth, the human body is also a universe in its own right. Within every single cell of your body, one can perceive a universe of its own. This is the concept of space within space, where beings exist within these layers of reality. Consequently, this human body contains countless spaces and countless beings residing within it.

Every single one of these beings possesses a true self and has the opportunity to realise their true nature and attain Buddhahood through diligent practice. Every human body is composed of countless cells and countless beings, all of whom are waiting for the light of the Dharma to reach them.

The Power of Purification

If a person practises chanting Namo Amituofo and succeeds in realising their true nature, they must have undergone a rigorous process of purification. Simultaneously, this process of inner transformation influences the countless cells, karmic creditors, attached spirits, and even demon crowds within their body. They are all brought under the influence of the Dharma, being subdued and purified.

Thus, the countless beings within this person's body also have the opportunity to chant Namo Amituofo, undergo purification, and realise their true nature to attain Buddhahood. When one person chants Namo Amituofo and attains Buddhahood, they are also saving the countless beings within their body, helping them realise their true nature and attain Buddhahood. These become countless Buddhas, representing the immeasurable and boundless manifestations of the Dharma Body. This is the grand vision for all students of Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre.

The Boundless Reach of the Western Land

In the Western Land of Dharma Nature, countless beings and demon crowds who have been saved are already gathered. Within that sacred space, these beings chant Namo Amituofo, undergo purification, and make sincere vows to enter the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, eventually becoming beings of the Western Land. In the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, these countless beings of the Western Land eventually attain Buddhahood, becoming countless Buddhas.

Each Buddha can then save beings who are connected by karmic affinity. When this process unfolds, there are countless Buddhas and immeasurable, boundless beings who are saved. This is the magnificent, interconnected nature of the path to enlightenment.

May all students of Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre be diligent in their practice, see their true nature, and achieve the realisation of countless Buddhas within their own bodies.
