What brings true to the heart? When you open your heart to the Buddha, you experience a profound sense of delight. When you chant the name of Namo Amituofo with a joyful heart, you align your entire being with the infinite of the Buddha. Through this practice, all beings can escape the cycle of rebirth and enter the of Ultimate Bliss. This is the greatest joy of all.
In this human world, we must use our lives to practise True Cultivation. By using the false to cultivate the true, you must remain active and persistent in your efforts. When you maintain a state of purity and Goodness, you walk the path toward and the completion of your journey to Buddhahood. This is a source of immense joy.
Within the Buddha’s teachings, the most precious gift is the holy name of Namo Amituofo. When a being hears this sacred name, a of Bodhi is planted deep within their ear-root. This seed becomes a permanent part of their spiritual foundation, ensuring that, in time, they will be saved. Knowing that every being has this potential for liberation is a profound joy.
As Buddhist education becomes more widespread, beings begin to understand the laws of and cause and effect. They come to know the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. When you not only know these truths but also put them into practice in your daily life, you experience the joy of alignment with the . By arousing the Bodhi mind and single-mindedly reciting Namo Amituofo, you gain benefits in this very life and ensure your rebirth in the Western Pure Land at the end of your days.
All students should follow the teachings found in the Infinite Life Sutra (The Buddha Speaks the , Infinite Life, Adornment, Purity, Impartiality, and Enlightenment Sutra) and put them into practice with faith. You should take Namo Amituofo’s Forty-eight Great Vows as your own. When you are Living the Vows: The Direct Way to Enlightenment, and you see those vows coming to fruition, you will know the joy of a life well-lived.

You must learn to "see through" and "let go" of worldly attachments. By transforming your emotional entanglements into Dharma affinity, your practice will surely succeed. Seek Awakening within your own nature, and externally, work to save beings and resolve their suffering. By distancing yourself from the cycle of rebirth and entering the Western Pure Land, you will find true and lasting joy.

When you invite your to hear the Dharma, they can be resolved and receive . As a result, your physical suffering is relieved, and your heart becomes expansive and at peace. You can then invite back the completeness of your three hun souls and seven po souls. When your body, mind, and spirit are at peace, your practice will flourish. You will be free from the ravages of aging and illness, and your spirit will never die, for it will be safely received into the Western Pure Land. This is the ultimate joy.
