For countless eons, across this world and many others, all beings have been trapped within the cycle of rebirth. You have endured immense suffering, drifting through immeasurable spans of time and space. You have spent countless days in hardship, often without knowing the cause of your pain or the way to escape it. However, the time for liberation has arrived.
now truly abides at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. This sacred presence is here specifically to help you leave suffering behind. Whether you are a being from the spirit realms, a human, a creature of the earth, or even a being residing within the hells—including the Yama kings and their attendants—you have the opportunity to be saved.
When you hear the teachings of Namo Amituofo, the guidance of Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju, and the explanations provided by Practitioner Su, you will begin to understand the fundamental laws of existence. By listening to these words, you will come to know:
Without this physical body, it is extremely difficult to rediscover your true self-nature. Many beings in the spirit realms are trapped within their respective spaces, unable to find a way out. They lack the opportunity to elevate their spirits to a state of pure goodness and to realise their true nature. Even those in higher spiritual realms, while residing in states of meditative concentration, often find it difficult to break through to true .
The human form is a rare and precious treasure, for it is the vessel through which you can realise your true nature and attain Buddhahood. Within the environment of the human world, through your daily interactions with others and your participation in group cultivation, your body, mind, and spirit are subjected to various tests. These challenges are not meant to harm you, but to provide the friction necessary for purification.
When you undergo this purification, your heart becomes pure and kind. If you then make a vow to save yourself and others, you will become in sync with your true self-nature. This is the path to realise your true nature and attain Buddhahood once and for all. By doing so, you can:
Once you have attained this state, you can freely travel to and from the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss to save other suffering beings. You will live a life where your body functions as the ultimate technology, filled with and grounded in the work of saving others. However, if you do not purify your body and mind, and if you fail to follow the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, you will continue to suffer.
You will continue to experience the pain of ageing, the onset of illness, and the eventual suffering of the separation of the four elements. If your spirit remains trapped in the cycle of rebirth and you fail to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, then your suffering will continue indefinitely. Many practitioners have spent lifetime after lifetime in this exact predicament.
In the human world, the Pure Land method of chanting Namo Amituofo is the most convenient and rapid way to achieve purification. You must arouse the mind and single-mindedly recite Namo Amituofo. You must learn to shift your focus, chanting one Buddha's name to the end without hesitation. To make a vow to chant and be reborn in the Western Pure Land is to arouse the Bodhi mind, for once you enter that realm, you will surely attain Buddhahood.
I invite you all to chant together. Let your chanting resonate through the cells of your body and reach out to the countless beings around you. Let us all chant together, purify ourselves together, and ensure that we leave suffering behind, never to enter the cycle of rebirth again, but to return together to the Western Pure Land. Namo Amituofo.
