The Heart's True Direction
To have one's wishes fulfilled is the deepest longing of the human heart. A vow is the direction in which the heart points; as your heart is, so shall your vow be. When a practitioner chants Namo Amituofo with a sincere and earnest aspiration, they invoke the power of the Buddha. In every sound of the Buddha-name, one receives the Buddha's blessing. Realise your true nature through and save yourself first; after saving yourself, save others. This is the essence of compassionately saving those with whom you have a karmic connection, helping them leave suffering behind and enter the of Ultimate Bliss.
The Boundless of the Forty-eight Great Vows
Namo Amituofo’s Forty-eight Great Vows are the foundation of the Western Pure Land. Every single vow has been realised to create this Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. The capacity to save beings is boundless, extending to all those with a karmic connection. The purpose is to assist them in leaving suffering behind so they may find true happiness. Pure Land practitioners should learn from the Buddha. Purification and chanting Namo Amituofo cannot be lacking in your daily life. Your body, mind, and spirit must be pure and no longer defiled; only then can you be certain of entering the Western Pure Land.
Dedicated Practice at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre
At the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia, the fourfold assembly of disciples engages in dedicated practice. Namo Amituofo accompanies them, protecting their vows. By relying on the provisions of Faith, Vows, and Practice, they undergo purification and open up spiritual dimensions, allowing them to communicate with beings from various realms.
Connecting with the Infinite Spirit of the Universe
This connection extends to all: Patriarchs, Great Masters, celestial beings, mountains, rivers, the earth, plants, animals, insects, birds, air molecules, and cells. Even spiritual beings from various realms and the demon realm possess a spirit within. These are the beings we encounter in our spiritual work, through which we can know many inconceivable truths. By understanding the truth of these facts, we can compassionately save ourselves and then save others. We hope that all beings will find liberation and leave suffering behind, undergo to enter the -Nature Land, and chant Namo Amituofo to enter the Pure Land as they have wished.
