Suddenly, you realise that your life is nearing its end. You wake up from the slumber of ignorance and look back at your life with clarity. You see that your are still filled with deep-seated resentment, standing before you with intense energy, demanding that you repay the debts and grievances of the past. In this moment of profound realisation, you must hurry to the Buddha, repenting for all the negative you have created throughout your many lifetimes. You must sincerely beg for the Buddha's to sustain you.
Our Buddha is infinitely compassionate. Upon hearing your sincere plea, emits a brilliant light to guide your karmic creditors, helping them find peace. In that instant, you feel a sudden lightness in your body; the heavy burden that once weighed you down is lifted. You are filled with gratitude for the Buddha's assistance. From this point forward, you must treat every minute and every second as precious. Do not allow yourself to become lazy or complacent. You must engage in diligent practice, for this is the only way to achieve rapid progress.
You may wonder if such a transformation is truly possible. It is not only possible; it is the natural result of surrendering your life entirely to the Buddha. You must be willing to cast aside your ego and strive forward with all your might, as if your life were truly ending at this very moment. When you stand before the Buddha and offer a heart of true repentance, and when you follow this with the actual practice of changing your ways, you are not only saving yourself, but you are also saving your karmic creditors.
When you open your eyes to the world, you will see the suffering of all beings. It is a suffering that is often beyond words. Consider the many ways this manifests in our daily lives:
All of these experiences are forms of suffering, and the solution lies in the work you do within your own heart. If you have truly had enough of this suffering, you must commit yourself to the path. Aside from your necessary daily duties, remain silent and focused. Dedicate yourself to the following practices:
The Buddha's blessings are bestowed upon you at every moment, and the work of inviting spirits to hear the never ceases. If you continue to practise diligently and purify your heart, the Buddha will continue to protect you, and you will see rapid progress manifest right before your eyes. This is the magnificent Dharma affinity for all students of Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre, where Namo Amituofo truly abides.
Will you spend your life like a candle flickering in the wind, or will you choose to shine brightly, saving yourself, saving the beings within your own body, and saving all those with whom you have a karmic connection?
