The Entrapment of Worldly Existence

Most people in this world live their lives entirely driven by the momentum of their past karma and the relentless demands of their physical desires. They remain unaware of the profound laws of karma and cause and effect that govern their existence. Even if some individuals possess a surface-level knowledge of these laws, they fail to realise that they are currently caught within them. Consequently, they continue to create karma and suffer without pause. They are trapped in the cycle of rebirth, wandering through the six realms of existence with no end in sight.

This cycle of rebirth is much like a vast, powerful whirlpool. All beings are caught in its immense suction, spinning endlessly without the slightest ability to break free. In this age of the Dharma’s decline, those who possess significant blessings are fortunate enough to encounter the Pure Land path. By coming to know Namo Amituofo and the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, they find the only true hope for the purification of their body, mind, and spirit, and the only way to leave suffering behind and find salvation.

The Urgency of Awakening

It is our duty to share this truth with the world, ensuring that all beings have the opportunity to understand their suffering, leave it behind, and embrace this supreme path with faith and devotion. To achieve this, one must:

• Listen to the sutras and hear the Dharma to understand the teachings of Namo Amituofo and the guidance provided by the masters.
• Recognise the deep, heavy sins accumulated over countless lifetimes.
• Acknowledge the immense suffering endured by all beings and our karmic creditors.
• Engage in True Cultivation to transform our karma and rediscover our original, true self.

Only by doing this can we resolve the suffering of ourselves and all other beings. We must not be lazy or indulgent in our practice.

The Path to True Achievement

Regardless of your circumstances, you must first achieve success in your own practice. This requires a dedicated commitment to the following:

• Discipline: Upholding the Precepts to keep the mind pure.
• Meditative Concentration: Developing the stillness necessary to see clearly.
• Wisdom: Cultivating the insight that leads to an awakened being.

Only when you have reached this level of attainment can you truly benefit and help others. You must treat this life as your final lifetime, making every effort to ensure your rebirth in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.

A Call to the Fourfold Assembly

To the fourfold assembly of disciples, you must seize this moment with the utmost sincerity. To listen and to practise diligently is the only way to save yourself and to allow the Buddha to save you. We are currently in a rare and precious time where Namo Amituofo is residing here at Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. You must strive for success in your practice with great speed. Furthermore, you must take up the responsibility of spreading the Dharma. This is the critical period for the salvation of all beings in this turbulent age of the Dharma’s decline.
